Meet your guide in central Prague and set off on foot to Wenceslas Square. Learn about pivotal historic events, including the 1968 Prague Spring and 1989 Velvet Revolution protests.
Navigate Havelska Market and explore the cobbled Old Town, admiring the Gothic, Renaissance, and baroque architecture, as well as the Old Town Square’s Astronomical Clock. Delve into the Jewish Quarter and after a typical Czech lunch at a restaurant, enjoy a Vltava River cruise on a replica 19th-century sailboat.
Admire the passing views of the Old Town, Prague Castle, and Charles Bridge as you enjoy onboard refreshments. Then, catch a public tram to Prague Castle, a UNESCO-protected complex of palaces, churches, and squares, and take an interior tour of the castle's showstopper, St Vitus Cathedral, the coronation site of many Czech kings.
