Overview
Visitors come to Prague in droves to see its bohemian art, cobbled lanes, and centuries’ old bridges and castles worthy of any European capital. There are enough walking and sightseeing tours to match the crowds, but this one stands out with a night watchmen guide, who introduces you to some of Prague’s history while decked out in historical dress.
What to Expect
Your tour begins near the gates of Prague’s Old Town. Meet your night watchman guide and get started on an educational tour of the history of Prague between the 14th and 18th centuries.

Your guide takes you to historically relevant locations. Walk from Powder Gate to Old Town Square, one of Europe’s largest and most beautiful urban spaces. The square has been Prague’s principal public square since the 10th century. Check out the dramatic, art-nouveau statue of Jan Hus—a Czech theologian and seminal figure of the Bohemian Reformation—in the center.

Continue to the banks of the Vltava River. Visit the Charles Bridge with its panoramic views of Prague Castle. Take advantage of the good viewpoints to take pictures of the castle and the neighborhood.

Your tour concludes at the bridge.

Great view, great stories

Sinan was our groups night watchman. Interesting insight into a job I didn't even know existed. The attractions of the tour as well as the sites surrounding them were incredible. Watchman was a little quiet but very knowledgeable. Time well spent.

Night Watchman Tour

David was an amazing guide. Dressed in historical costume - even on a freezing cold night - he provided both a colourful and most enjoyable tour. We would strongly recommend this insightful trip through history to anyone interested in the culture of his charming city.
