Budapest Sightseeing Tour by Bike with Lunch
US$29.82
Overview
This small-group cycling tour covers an impressive amount of Budapest sights in just half a day. Pack light, as you’ll be provided with bikes and helmets. Your guide will safely lead you on bike lanes, across mostly flat terrain, to see highlights including the UNESCO-listed Buda Castle District, Chain Bridge, the Parliament Building, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Stop to refuel with a traditional goulash lunch.
What to Expect
Meet at Deak Ferenc Square in central Budapest, where you’ll listen to a safety briefing. Get set up with a bike and helmet, and then pedal off through the city, taking cycling lanes and flat terrain to ensure a leisurely experience.

Listen to guide commentary as you pass highlights including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Andrassy Avenue, the Opera House, Heroes’ Square, and Vajdahunyad Castle in the City Park. A small group means you can ask your guide plenty of questions as you visit the Szechenyi Baths and St. Stephen’s Basilica. Pedal across the Chain Bridge and gaze out over the Parliament Building.

Next up is the UNESCO-listed Buda Castle District and Matthias Church—snap some photos in front of the Royal Palace while your guide sheds light on the political and historical importance of the area.

Finish up with a traditional Hungarian goulash lunch before returning to your original departure point.

Great overview of the city

Lazlo included us in his group at short notice. He showed us a lot of sites and gave a good account of the city’s complicated history. We thoroughly enjoyed the biking, the lunch and the experience in this wonderful city!

Pretty good - I liked it

Lunch was good. Tour guide was informative but hard to hear at times and sometimes good picture moments passed you by but overall a good experience.

The tour took about 5 hours including lunch. Lots of stops on the way, it was very gentle. I'm not an experienced cyclist but loved it.
