    Nice experience
It was a long day and I don't recommend going around Christmas holidays, but experience was great, nevertheless. Emanuel did a fantastic job, both navigating, and in castle tours.

The bus let us behind, we didn't get the trip!
They are not professional and rudes! We didn't get our trip ...The buses just let 16 people behind and go! As it was written we arrived on place 30 minutes before and there was 6 buses. No bus had our booking name and each driver (beside one) was very rude ! You ask Hil a question what we can do and he answers : "it's not my business" lol. I tried to call the company several time but no answer, however when I wrote a bad comment with my husband in Google ( yes we were angry, arrive in cold at 6.45, be treated very rude by drivers and no one answers to you what a surprise) here the answer arrived directly. First of all they in the Google reply they mentioned that if I reserved by Booking it's not their business...hmm you know if you own several plateformes it's up to you to manage it's nice !!!!! Either you do your work well or you don't do it at all. Even if it's through some other platforms, it's up to you to manage if you don't arrive, you have to say the other platforms in partnership with booking not to do it because you don't arrive to manage. Second , the not professional and rude drivers they are also from Booking??? No, they are from your not professional company ! .Their another big argument was the fact that we paid the trip cheap. Yes we didn't get the time to reserve another trip indeed, but you can not excuse everything with the pretext that it is cheap. The minimum it's not let the people without bus. I'm conscious that it will no be a premium travel, however this is a big mess. And also note that this situation happens several times not only with us , i put some screenshots to let you see it and they answer to you very rude. I traveled a lot and it's a first time I see this. And we are in Europe! If you do bad there are consequences and you have to assume! Next time think twice and form your workers be a bit more polite would be better !

    Very unprofessional and disrespectful
As per ticket information i was at meeting point "Statie Taxi Universitate" even 30 min before departure. There were 7 buses from the company "it was big disaster no one know where to go and you need to wait approx 5 min to ask each bus if your name in there list" non of the 7 bus had my name and when i asked what should i do i get non professional answer" it is not my business ". I wasnt able to get refund as they claim we where not there in time based on the foto that i took after i recognised that all busses gone and left us behind. The company doesn't offer serious nor polite service to there customer " there were approximately 16 people left behind so it is not special case". When i wrote my experience in Google as review they answered very bad " they said why you buy cheap tickets" the tickt was almost 20 euro and in group of over 300 people i wonder if that cheap. Plus they forced you to take tickt from them which cost normally 20 euro but you have to pay them 35 euro. Anyway i just wanted to adress my experience for people to take care of this company.

    Not too happy
We were told we will be back at 7 pm...they did not bring us back until 11 pm! We were told at Peles park to meet back to the bus for departure at 11 am. We did not leave until 12.30 pm ! We were asked to pay an extra 35 euros for tickets per person...we were not told them when we booked this tour. It seemed fishy.... Not pleased with the overall experience....people need to be more professional than that !

    A Dangerous and Unacceptable Experience
I booked the Dracula Castle, Peles & Brasov Full-Day Tour from Bucharest with One Excellence Tours through Get Your Guide, and I am beyond appalled by the experience. There were numerous issues throughout the day, culminating in the most egregious offense, which left me feeling unsafe and abandoned. From the start, the tour was riddled with disorganization. The bulk of the day was spent cramped on a bus with no bathroom or WiFi—hardly the experience anyone would expect. Entry fees to the castles were not included, which wasn’t disclosed clearly, and I was asked to pay the tour operator in cash for tickets at a significantly higher price than what the castles themselves charged. Once inside, the experience was chaotic, with large crowds and slow-moving queues eating into the already limited time allotted for exploring. As for the promised "free time," it barely existed—just enough time to hurry back to the bus "on the dot" to avoid being threatened with being left behind. Surely, I thought, this must be an exaggeration. It wasn’t. The most unacceptable aspect of this tour was the guide, Lucian, and his complete lack of consideration for the safety of those in his care. As a solo woman traveler, I expected a professional and responsible experience. Instead, I found myself vulnerable and unsupported. After accidentally getting separated from the group, Lucian abandoned me—fully aware I was traveling alone. This decision, disregarding my safety, is unconscionable. To make matters worse, no direct contact information for Lucian was provided—an inexcusable oversight for any tour company. Being stranded over 70 miles from Bucharest, with no clear way to rejoin the group or get back to my starting point, was both appalling and dangerous. Thankfully, a kind-hearted taxi driver in Brasov guided me to the train station and ensured I boarded the right train back to Bucharest. Once I returned, I immediately contacted the company, expecting to speak with management and receive an apology. While my message was read, no one responded or took any action to rectify the situation. If this company’s policy allows guides to abandon travelers, leaving them stranded and unsafe, it is not a company anyone should trust with their money or their well-being. This experience was not just disappointing; it was outright dangerous. Travelers deserve better, and I urge others to think twice before booking with One Excellence Tours.

    Nice
There was so much traffic but I guess this is not their fault, romania has too much traffic which slowes us down. But tour guide was very helpful, thank you.

Prefer to do my own thing
I'm not normally one for organized trips, but public transport to Bran's castle from Bucharest seemed tenuous at best. I was impressed! We had no intention of making the two other stops, but so glad that we did. Brasov had a fun little Xmas market going on and Pelęs castle was gorgeous. Highly recommend, but do anticipate a 12+ hour trip.

It was just ok. Go in summer...it may be better
The wait at Peles Castle was 1 hour and 15 minutes. We just stood there in the cold. No apparent reason....the line just wasn't moving. Once we got in, it took less than an hour to see the whole thing. Lots of driving. Bran Castle has their stuff together more. Right in, no waiting. Not a ton to see, but still worth going. Stop in Brasov about 1.5 hours was fine. Long (3.5 hour) ride back. Our guide, Vlad, was good. Tough to understand on the microphone. Didn't really need a guide for this tour. Not the best tour I've ever taken.

    Through the snow and rain
Despite rain and snow the tour guide made each part of the tour interesting and informative. The team of the driver and guide managed the difficult logistics of two castles and Brasov very well and safely.

We travelled as a couple from Budapest to Bucharest 4 days/3 nights with our guide/driver Alberto. What can I say! This was an amazing tour through an amazing country with an amazing guide! Tour was well paced, with great accommodation, and with lots of highlights along the way. Alberto has been the best tour guide, generous with his time, knowledge of history and his personal experience of living in Romania. We are so pleased we made the choice to travel through to Bucharest this way!

We just completed a 4 day trip from Budapest to Bucharest with Paul. It was an amazing trip. Paul gave us the inside scoop on many wonderful sites along the way. Really enjoyed his personal insight and stories. Paul is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a true promoter of Romania. His stories kept us laughing so much. You "CON'T" find a better tour than this.
