    What to Expect
There’s an amazing thing that happens when you push off onto a multi-day river trip. It’s a sense of relief, of freedom, of being able to finally relax. There is always a build up of anticipation, of what to expect, but then suddenly, magically, you are rounding the bend and embarking on a new adventure. As the road and signs of civilization disappear you will discover that life on the river is simple – be curious, look around, and discover a world without the distractions of modern day life.
Perhaps the best part of a river trip is that you get to experience a wonderful place with people who mean the most to you. Whether you are traveling with friends or family or both, you will find that relationships are strengthened under stars, in wilderness, and on rivers with whitewater and challenge.
Our trips are designed to comfortably share with you a place we believe to be precious and unique to Southern Oregon. The Wild & Scenic Rogue River shares qualities of many other multi-day river trips, but it is one of the few that holds so many outstanding qualities. We believe you will remember your trip as one of the best vacations you’ve ever taken, and we look forward to sharing it with you.
The Rogue River is the perfect vacation for a group of individuals with different ideas of what the “perfect” river trip truly means. Whether you want to have an active vacation with lots of kayaking and hiking or you prefer to kick back and enjoy the ride, the Rogue River offers many different experiences that will match exactly what you are looking for in a vacation.
Our camps on the Rogue River are far from “roughing it” – in fact some of our guests have referred to ourstyle of camping as “glamping” (Glorious Camping). Each day, a large supply boat goes downstream ahead of our group to set-up camp. When we arrive, tents and the rest of camp are completely set-up. We brings chairs, tables, and a kitchen to make camp feel more like home. In fact, you might think of our trips as a mobile bed and breakfast.
Our guides are superb camp chefs and you will be impressed with the variety of delicious, fresh, and wholesome meals that are offered throughout the trip. We take pride in sourcing our food from local providers, and the majority of our food is purchased from the Ashland Food Coop, Southern Oregon’s one and only Organic Certified Grocery Store.

We rafted for 4 days/3 nights on the Rogue river with Indigo Creek. Another party couldn't make the trip so we were fortunate enough to have 3 guides and oar boats for our family of 4. It was an incredible experience! The guides had over...More

On arriving at Galice resort to meet Indigo, my friend/co-worker and I discovered that we were the only people on the trip. Just us and two guides. I was surprised that Indigo hadn't cancelled on us, and it's to their great credit they didn't, as...More

Julie, the owner along with her husband Will, is amazing. She was very communicative and replied to emails very quickly. She’s a total pro. We were three adults plus a 19, 16, 13, 11 and a 9 year old. I would think that for any...More

Our family had the absolute pleasure of rafting with Indigo Creek this summer. We have been on river trips with a number of different operators over the years and I can confidently say Indigo Creek is top notch. The booking and advising process was incredibly...More

We loved our four day rafting adventure down the Wild & Scenic. The scenery is right out of the pages of National Geographic, the food out of this world, the guides were great conversationalist, adventurers, and rafters.
