    What to Expect
At your selected departure time, meet your local guide and get fitted for a hybrid comfort bike near the National Mall, where you’ll embark on a 3-hour Washington DC bike tour of monuments and memorials.

Follow your guide at a leisurely pace over relatively flat terrain, using bike lanes that wind past notable historic landmarks in the dynamic capital. You’ll stop en route to hear interesting facts from your guide about each site you visit, including the Washington Monument, a towering obelisk that honors the first US president.

Learn about the architectural features of the memorials along the Potomac Tidal Basin, including the stately Lincoln Memorial and Jefferson Memorial. Read the many famous quotes at the Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial, and note the more than 58,000 names on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a tribute to men and women who served in the Vietnam War.

Check out the National World War II Memorial and more before you ride back to the starting point, where your tour concludes.

My husband nine-year-old son and I toured the monuments with Brian. It was an easy and very enjoyable 5 to 6 mile ride ride, it was awesome, we highly recommend this trip. There were elder people and little kids in our group and everyone had...More

Easily the highlight of our three days in DC. Our family loved this ride around the monuments. In just about 3 hrs, we covered a little over 7 miles. 6 yr old opted to ride in the pull behind instead of pedaling. Both she and...More

We did the bike tour with ten year old twins. I was a bit concerned about their age, keeping up, but more important, safety on bikes in a city. The tour was a very good pace. The longest ride was probably about 5 minutes and...More

I believe that they say it’s four miles. It’s an easy ride though. The furthest in one stretch is probably 5 minutes. You’re at each monument for about 10-15 minutes so there are a lot of breaks.
