For this Gettysburg tour, head to Washington DC’s Union Station to board a comfortable coach bus. Settle into your seat for a scenic ride through Maryland and Pennsylvania to the Civil War battlefield. While you travel, listen to your guide’s engaging commentary about the background of the famous Battle of Gettysburg. Once you arrive at the site, stop first at Shriver House to view a experience a living museum. Excellent tour. It takes all day because of the distance involved, but it is a great first tour of Gettysburg. It is a great overview of what happened at the battle of 3 days. Highly recommend it if you are not a history buff.
