What to Expect
Exploring Washington DC can be overwhelming. This guided tour, which includes priority access to two popular sights, allows you to get a comprehensive overview of the nation's capital in a single day.
Meet your group at the US Capitol Visitor Center, where you'll enjoy a skip-the-line walking tour of the Senate and House of Representatives. See the Crypt, Rotunda, and National Statuary Hall, as well as a film about the history of US government.
Back on the shuttle, pass the White House on the way to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, United States Navy Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and Korean War Veterans Memorial. At each stop, hop out to have a look around, take photos, and listen to informative commentary from your guide.
Midday, head over to the Potomac River for a leisurely cruise (seasonal, mid-March to mid-October).
Lunch of your choice is available at L'Enfant Plaza.
The day's last stop is the National Archives Building, where you'll have priority access to see the Declaration of Independence, United States Constitution, the original Bill of Rights, and Public Vaults.
