    What to Expect
Make your way to Roer’s Zoofari, formerly known as the Reston Zoo, and present this voucher for admission that includes all zoo activities. Explore the animal park in any order, with plenty of time to see the things that interest you most.
Pick up up a bottle at the zoo entrance, which you can use to feed young lambs and goats by hand in the petting barn. Get the lay of the land—and see animals from five different continents—on the wagon ride through the park. Pause to feed animals along the way, meeting creatures like the North American bison, Asian water buffalo, African watusi cattle, South American rhea, and Australian emu, along with zebra, deer, and kune kune pigs.
Stop by the aviary, where you can feed the free-flying birds using a parakeet stick. See the snakes, turtles, and frogs that live inside the reptile house, then attend a daily animal exhibit, featuring a rotating list of zoo residents like alligators, pythons, and ferrets.

It was fun returning to this place (under a new-ish name and new ownership), many years after my kids outgrew it. Plenty of eye candy for photographers to practice (or simply capture great images ... a few example are posted), and it's joyful to watch...More

We just had an amazing time at Roer’s and can not wait to go back. We arrived when it opened and for a Sunday, was not busy at all. Be prepared to spend money on carrots/lettuce ($5.00/cup but you are truly paying for the experience...More

We purchased tickets on Groupon and visited on a Sunday afternoon. The Zoofari ride on the bus was short but interesting. We most enjoyed the giraffe and cheetahs. The giraffe was so close and surprisingly friendly. We couldn’t believe people could actually feed him/her.

This was a great small zoo. It is great for small children. They will have fun encounters with several animals. If we are in the area again we will stop by.
