Overview
A captivating day filled with American history. Tour includes visits to Old Town Alexandria, George Washington's Mount Vernon, and Arlington National Cemetery. Dating back to the early 1700s, Old Town Alexandria played a significant role in early American history and was the adopted hometown of George Washington. George Washington's Mount Vernon entrance includes a host of colonial-era buildings, beautiful gardens, and a museum and visitor center. Arlington National Cemetery entrance an interpretative tour with stops near the Kennedy gravesites and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Air conditioning on the bus was broken from the start. Driver made repeated attempts to try to get another bus for us. Finally had to resort to driving with the doors open to keep air moving ! He did his best, he went out of his way to make it comprehensive and interesting.
