          Wonderful excursion
We had an awesome experience with Truly Wild. Our guide, Isreal, was top-notch, very knowledgeable on the area, and the ruins. Cave tubing was a very cool experience. we had a great time. This is the second trip we have booked with this company, very professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We will definitely use them in the future.

Book All your Placencia, Belize Adventures with Truly Wild Belize!
We used Truly Wild Belize for ALL our but one of our excursions for our week long stay in Placencia and couldn't have been happier. Jason, the owner of Truly Wild Belize, worked with us to customize excursions for our adventerous family, and they were all a hit - ATVs to waterfalls, Tiger Fern sunset hike & waterfalls, an island hopping day to Silk Caye, Ray Caye, and Moho Caye for incredible snorkeling, and a cave kayaking excursion. Jason and his team were responsive, professional, fun, and always on time, and becasue we booked everything with them we were able to change the order of our excursions to best fit the weather as our week unfolded. We should have booked directly with Truly Wild Belize for our shuttle to/from the Belize airport, too, as we paid a significant markup by booking that shuttle through our hotel. Use Truly Wild Belize for all your outings in Placenica - you won't be disappointed!

          Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve
We had a lovely hike to a refreshing waterfall in the Cockscomb reserve. Ricky was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge about the culture, history, country and natural wonders of Belize.

Great Value and Service. Super Family excursion with active hands on Chocolate Making
We arranged a last minute trip with Jason to tour the Chocolate "Plantation" and visit the Waterfalls in the area. He was 30% less than the other tour operator and since we had 14 people in our group, this was a substantial discount. He "truly" loves what he does and it shows with enthusiasm which was contangeous. The tour is uncomplcated and pretty fast paced. The two hightlights were the chocolate making with our family, tasting and expanation by an expert from the region which was very interesting and fun. We were ranging in age from 5-73 and it worked for everyone. Then, we were not done. Headed over to a spectacular Waterfall which was busy but everyone could find a spot to hang. Our grandkids and their parents (our "kids" were jumping into the deep water pool under the falls over and over. Couldn't get enough. So much fun, especiallyi on a hot day. My five year old "Truth or Dared" Grandpa to jump with her........................how could I refuse. Really made memories that day. Jason is the real deal.

Truly Wild Belize - their tours make incredible memories
In our effort to escape the Colorado snow, we were fortunate to book two separate day tours withTruly Wild Belize and I am convinced that there can be no better tour provider. Day 1: Xunantunich + Inland Blue Hole with host extraordinaire Robin. One of our interests is Mayan culture and history and there are few more spectacular places than Xunantunich. This tour was made even better having Robin guide it. We learned so much about not only Xunantunich and Mayan culture but also about everything we saw or experienced there. Day 2: Southern Package (Nim Li Punit + Chocolate Tour + Spice Tour) with host extraordinaire Israel. Wow! I can honestly say I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this tour as much as I did. This just sounded like the kind of thing the wife enjoys so just roll with it tours…This tour was a delight for all senses. I think everyone would enjoy this tour. I would also have to say that any tour Israel guides would surpass expectations. His knowledge, patience and communication skills make him an excellent guide. It would be so wrong of me to forget to comment about the amazing lunches provided on both tours. They were among the best meals we had on our vacation!

          Great experience!
We did 2 tours with Truly Wild Belize and both exceeded our expectations. They were exciting, informative and beautiful. We felt safe with the guides, lunches were delicious and we had a blast. Highly recommend booking through them.

Book with Truly Wild Belize - You Won't Regret It!
I can't say enough about Truly Wild Belize! The trips we took (Full day private island hopping, full day private ruins zip lining and cave tubing, and roundtrip land transfers from Belize City) were all outstanding. Jonathon, Ki, and Luis stood out as excellent guides. Knowledgeable about all facets of Belize. Dealing with Jason was unlike any other experience in turns of trust and responsiveness. Do yourself a favor and book directly with Truly Wild Belize and go directly to the source of information. Our arrival flight was 6 hours late, but I was in touch with Jason the whole time and he was assuring me that someone would be there to greet us and provide the land transfer to Placencia. Sure enough, Ki was there with a smile and a very pleasant 2+ hour drive from the airport. Book now with this company and make a lasting memory for your family.

          Xunantunich + Zip Lining
Israel was outstanding! His knowledge of the history, flora and fauna was great! Our tour of Xunantunich very informative and enjoyable. He was an excellent safe driver but was ver efficient with getting us through the traffic and numerous sleeping police (speed bumps). Ask for Israel on your tour!

3 Island Snorkel Tour and Lunch from Placencia
We had the best time! We snorkeled 3 cayes and had a delicious lunch. Our captain and guide were friendly and fun. We were picked up right at our hotel, on the beach in Placencia. $175 per person USD and totally worth it

Incredible Guides and Drivers Make all the Difference!
While in Belize we used ground transportation and took several tours arranged by the concierge at our resort through Truly Wild Belize. Every tour guide and driver was excellent; knowledgeable, professional, friendly and engaged. Over the course of our trip we spent time with George, Jonathan, Robin, William and Kai and thoroughly enjoyed our tours and drives. You can't go wrong with Truly Wild Belize. We will most certainly be booking through them again when we return to beautiful Belize.

Great private boat tour of some Placencia islands!
Two couples booked a private boat with Truly Wild. It was an awesome trip! The sea state was a little bit choppy, so we diverted from the original plan and stopped at a different island where we snorkeled around, saw lots of fish, had a great picnic, and chilled a bit on the quiet beach. Then we did some fishing, caught a few fish which we were able to trade for some lobsters on Ivan's Island (a very cool spot!!). Capped off at Placencia Yacht Club for a sundowner!

Wonderful day with Wilder from Truly Wild Belize
We highly recommend to book with Wilder from Truly Wild Belize for any daytrip in Belize. Wilder is a local guide with an incredible knowledge about everything and he is so much fun to spend the day with. We were picked up from our resort and drove to the Xunantunich Maya historic site, On our drive Wilder gave us so much info about all we saw while driving and about Belize in general. Once at the Maya sight he was a truly knowledgeable guide, we learned so much. He took us to a local restaurant for a very nice Belizian lunch and then we continued on to the Cave tubing. Wilder was again great and the caves were absolutely stunningly amazing. A long drive back to our resort, but it was well worth it.

          Great ruins trip!
We had a great time on our all-day tour of Xunantunich and the Inland Blue Hole tour. But even before we left, I was impressed with the responsiveness of the staff. I had to change our tour a couple times, and even though they might have been rolling their eyes at me behind the scenes, they were nothing butpleasant, helpful and accommodating. They also responded very quickly which allowed me to schedule some other tours on different days. We left from Placencia so we enjoyed the scenic drive out to the ruins. It was nice to see more of the country than just the peninsula. Being the off-season, it was just my partner and me on the trip. Our tour guide Jonathan Miranda was top notch! He knows so much history of the area and of Belize in general. He provided a great tour of the ruins with lots of information about what we were seeing. He really brought the whole experience to life. It's really a fascinating place to visit. We were lucky too that it wasn't terribly hot when we went. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at nearby Benny's Kitchen. Pibil!! Yum!! The Inland Blue Hole tour was fun too! The water was a little chilly but definitely tolerable. It was pretty empty since it was the off-season, which was nice. I definitely recommend Truly Wild Belize for your tours while visiting Belize! We had a great experience!

          Wow is an understatement.
Officially, cameras are not allowed. Kinda a bummer but saves it from the crazies on TikTok-instagram. Amazing experience. Relatively easy walk from parking are to cave entrance. Moderate activity while in the cave. Amazing, awesome, ya gotta experience this.

          Cave tubing!
Jonathan was an outstanding guide for our cave tubing and spelunking adventure! With my husband and our two teenage boys, it was everything we could have hoped for and more! He tailored the tour to be more adventurous for our family and was extremely knowledgeable about all things Belize. Highly recommend!

We chose to do cave tubing and the ruins one day and then the ATM cave 2 days later, both days with Truly Wild Belize as we were staying in Placencia. Truly Wild had amazing prices, but don't let that fool you because transportation, guides and tours were top notch! Vans had AC (I live in Arizona, USA so yes it was truly great AC), Johnathan was our guide for the cave tubing and ruins and he was nonstop with history, answered all questions, took great care of us and clearly loved what he does. Wilder was our driver for ATM and Francisco was our guide and both of them were amazing too. If we're ever in the area again I wouldn't hesitate to use Truly Wild Belize and highly recommend them.

Jason and his team at Truly Wild are amazing and provide such fun adventures. Having gone with several other tour groups throughout the country, TWB stands out as the best amongst a very competitive and qualified group. Israel took our group to the ATM Caves and it was unreal. From the history we learned on our lovely van ride there to the great lunch that was provided, we would do it again in a heartbeat.

Our experience with our guide, Robin, exceeded our expectations. We had the privilege of getting to have Robin two consecutive days (as a driving guide to ATM the first day and cave tubing/Xunantunich the second). He was so personable and a true wealth of knowledge. He knew everything from historical details about many areas of the country to wilderness survival to rescue and recovery. When he was with our family, we never once felt rushed, and it was clear that this is a job he is not only great at, but passionate about as well. He is a person who is able to wear many hats, including auto mechanic as he was able to revive our car at one point, preventing us from potentially being stranded for a bit! Knowing what I learned from him in just two days, I can't imagine all he could have taught if we had him for a week or more going around the country. Belize is such a beautiful country with a rich history, and he was able to make it all come to life in such an interesting and captivating way. Thank you for contributing to making this such an amazing trip!

Had a great day with Israel, who was a most informative and qualified tour guide. We learned so much and enjoyed the scenic Hummingbird Highway, visiting the Mayan ruins, cave tubing, and driving through the ‘city’. Lunch was awesome too and I LOVE the sour sop drink we had. We felt like we were the only ones at both locations since it was the day before hurricane Lisa was due to hit Belize. Sites were closing early, but Israel made sure we got in and called ahead in order to be sure. We highly recommend this tour company and Israel. It was a truly phenomenal experience! Thank you! I had a friend come to visit for a week and decided to book a couple of tours so they can get a good feel for this amazing country that is Belize. One that i picked was Xunantunich the Mayan ruins and cave tubing. The thing that makes for a great tour is not only the place but also the person giving the tour. We had the pleasure of having Robin as our tour guide. The man is a walking encyclopedia on all things Belize, and Mexico and Guatemala and well all of Central America it turns out. We even learned things about the united States that we didn't know before. Robin was engaging funny and went out of his way to help everyone with what ever they needed. And all of the things we learned about Belize the people the culture and even the plants is something that we will remember for years to come. Looking forward to booking another tour with Robin.

Jonathan was the best guide we could have hoped for. He was so informative and patient with our young granddaughters. The ruins were so impressive and he took the time to interpret the glyphs.

The cave tubing was even better than we expected. Spotted some bats, even saw a tapir swimming in the river. Jonathan worked his heart out pulling us down the river. The caves were just plain awesome.

        12 hours of utter beauty.

Jonathan was our guide and he was fun, easygoing, and very knowledgeable about Belize, Mayan history, local flora and fauna. We learned a lot which added to the adventure. It’s a long drive from Placencia, but seeing the country was worth it. Crossing a river on a hand-cranked ferry (they let me crank it!), climbing the pyramid, a delicious lunch, and amazing cave floating and the short jungle hike were all memorable.

The experience to Xunantunich and cave tubing was great! Our tour guide Jonathan was the best. He mixed cultural history and safety with wonderful energy, excitement, and jokes! He answered all of our questions and more. The ruins were beautiful, hot, and had a few steep climbs. Recommend wearing moisture wicking clothing, sunscreen, and grip shoes for the steps. The cave tubing was an experience to remember. Recommend wearing bug repellent, bathing suit with shorts, water shoes(that's a must), and bring dry clothes to change. Overall wonderfully full day of cultural history, food, and good energy!!!!

Our tour guide, Syed Alexander was absolutely amazing and made every part fantastic!!! The cave tubing was magical!

Caution: they are not kidding when they say you need water shoes. It is a decent hike to the mouth of the cave over very rocky (gravel). We bought cheap water shoes with thin soles and the gravel was still hard on our feet. Thick soles are your best friends.

We saw bats, tarantula, a toucan, fish. It was absolutely gorgeous!

Incredible tour! Our guide Robin was a little bit chauffeur, a little bit spelunker, well versed historian and botanist! A wealth of information with a little imagination made the trip to the ruins a trip through time. He then tied the trip to the ruins to the dark cave tour and river float!

The icing on the cake was the in depth knowledge he had of the fauna and flora.

Truly memorable even the teenagers agreed it was a tour well worth taking.
