        Wonderful excursion day!!
We booked with no difficulty and had a great time doing the ATV, the zipline and animal sanctuary, as well as a visit to the beach. Derrick took such good care of us from beginning to end. Can’t recommend this company enough !!

        Unforgettable Tour
The staff of the tours company was so friendly and accommodating to our cruise itinerary. Our tour guide Nekie gave us a history tour of the island, and took us to try the local foods. The zip line guides were so dedicated to offering us an exhilarating experience. The ATV were so fun showing us the communities and the second largest barrier reef in the horizon. The staff in the zoo were so friendly and generous, giving us time to pet the sloths, guinea pigs, and monkeys.

Amazing half day tour of the island!
My wife and I came to Roatan to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We didn't rent a car and wanted to see the east side of the island and the mangroves. This was a perfect tour for us. Derek was our driver and he picked us up from our hotel in his car. Just the 3 of us. There was a mix up about pick up location that was our fault, not Derek's, so we started a little late. This was no problem for Derek and he was in no rush. We first drove to Oakridge to do the mangrove tour. On the way Derek told us about the history of the island and the the differences between the sides of the island. This is the tour if you want to see almost all of Roatan. We got to Oakridge early for our mangrove tour so Derek drove us through the narrow streets and gave us a little extra tour of this amazing town. Once we got to the boat part of the tour we met up with Captain Alex. He is a character! We loved that we had the whole boat to ourselves. Captain Alex did a few extra things on the tour like allowing me to stand up on the boat and take a video as we cruised through one of the mangrove paths. He also took pictures of us and the mangroves with my phone. Such a cool experience and beautiful place. We then drove through Punta Gorda. This is the historic small town of the Garifuna people on the island. Derek gave us the history of the town and showed us a few of the old mud/clay buildings that still exist in the community. Very cool. Finally, we finished up for lunch. I had whole fish and my wife had chicken wings. The restaurant had a limited menu but is was good. We had the whole place to ourselves. On the way back Derek asked if we wanted to go anywhere else. Do some shopping, take some pictures, anything? We aren't really shoppers so we did a few pull out spots for pictures but then we were ready to hit the beach back at our place. Overall, a wonderful tour. I highly recommend it for people who want to see the mangroves, learn island history, and see almost all the island without having to rent a car and drive. Shout out to Derek and Captain Alex for making our tour one we will never forget!

Exploring Roatan via car, ATV, and zip line
The tour offices were a short walk from the port and our cruise ship. We had a small car for five adults, but it did have air conditioning and our driver, Paul, was very safe and expertly navigated the rough and winding mountain roads for about an hour to the ATV location. One of the passengers did get carsick. The ATV ride was pretty tame, but we did get a taste of the real Honduras in Punta Gorda--very friendly people living in very humble circumstances. The highlight of the trip was meeting a local historian and chatting about the Garifuna culture on the island. Our guide drove slowly on the rough roads which was a good thing because the ATVs were very sketchy! We drove back through the mountains to the main city and the zipline course. The zipline guides were fun and very attentive, but safety precautions are minimal at best. (Note that we never felt unsafe, but that setup would never have passed inspection in the U.S.) We had a wonderful tour guide at the zoo--holding the sloth and playing with the monkeys was an added bonus. Paul returned us to port in plenty of time to make it back to our ship.

        Wilson was awesome!
I have to say, Wilson was really an amazing guide. We enjoyed the mangrove tour, the horseback riding was ok (but they really need to find some food for their horses...most were very skinny), and the snorkeling (which was really well done). He got us back to our ship on time and even got us some corn fritters. Very courteous and concerned about our comfort and enjoyment. 👍👍

        A Thrill Ride
For the first time I decided to be a tourist in my parent’s country and this excursion was all I need to understand the depth of the Honduran culture. Learning the difference between the Garifuna people, islanders who speak English creole, and those of only Spanish decent. We had awesome Benson as our driver who talked to us thru the our in entire trip about Roatan its ports and the fun things the locals do. When we got to the ATVs we rode down to Punta Gorda where most of the Garifuna people live on the island. Going about 25-35 miles a hour speeding thru the rocky paths. Then headed to the wildlife sanctuary where we got interact with the multitude of animals including moneys and sloths. Overall my brother and I had an amazing time.

        Had a blast!
The zipline, sloth, and monkey hangout was quite possibly the highlight of our entire trip. To start with, the ziplines were amazing and by the time we finished, everyone in the family was doing flips and inverted rides to the next platform. The kids loved the monkeys and sloths, too. Derrick was our driver and spent the rest of the day driving us around - we visited a chocolate factory and then he took us to a great lunch and beach spot. He was super knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We'll be recommending him and Roatan Henry Tours to all of our friends.

        ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ VIP Tour with Benson
Fantastic tour with Benson, who took us to Daniel Johnson's, the iguana sanctuary, and a variety of places around town. He shared about his life in Roatan and the culture of the area. Good value for money. 💯 would recommend

This was a great excursion, we got to hang out with the sloths and monkeys. Kembron Dilbert was awesome as a tour guide and he did a great job on all facts about the island.

Best Excursion EVER! Henry Tours is your very own personal tour guide!
Truly the best excursion we have ever been on! Our guide, Wilson went above and beyond to make sure we did everything we wanted to. We are a family of 3 and were grouped with 2 very nice couples in a luxurious van for the day. Wilson was so much fun and knew all about the island. He made sure we never waited long in lines, we enjoyed each stop as long as we wanted to and got us great deals on souvenirs. We were basically on our own private tour - never rushed or crowded. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be going with Henry Tours again! Thanks for the absolute perfect day Wilson!

        Highlight of our trip!
We enjoyed our time at Jungle Top Zipline Adventure! Our kids (8 and 10) were very excited about this opportunity and it did not disappoint! We booked a private island tour through Bryan Pandy Roatan Tours and this was one of the stops we had requested be part of our private tour. Bryan suggested we tour the island first, and end our time in Honduras with Jungle Top, so we took his word! Jungle Top was the perfect way to end our stay! There are a LOT of staff that help you through the Zipline course; all of them were friendly, helpful and seemed to be having a lot of fun. I was personally nervous to go on the Zipline course, but July reassured me it was going to be okay; showed me the double cable they use, and checked in with me after a few Ziplines to make sure I was doing okay, which I was! We had a blast on the Ziplines and purchased the pictures they took of us; they accepted Apple Pay and air dropped the photos to my phone, so I had them instantly. After the Zipline course, we enjoyed a drink, and then walked a few short steps to the sloths, monkeys, birds, and other animals. Holding the sloths was fun, but it does go quickly! The kids had a fun time with the monkeys, too, but I thought it was kind of gross that the guide puts food in your hair to entice the monkey to jump to you! My husband had a hat on and one of the monkeys unsnapped it! There are a few different monkeys that are caged and cannot interact with humans, and we were told one of them scratched a tourist earlier that morning because the tourist was egging the monkey on. I think Jungle Top should update the cages that these specific monkeys are in to prevent that from happening. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend!

        Lots of fun for kids
Lots of fun. Very few safety measures. Guides who like swinging like monkeys and demonstrating cool maneuvers. Knowledgeable docent that lets you hug a sloth and hold monkeys and birds.

        Action Packed Day
We had a private tour and our driver/guide, Wilson, was great! Ziplining at Jungle Top is fun! Keep in mind that there aren't any helmets or brakes, you have to trust the staff to catch you and they do. We saw two baby Sloths (one was only 2 1/2 weeks old)! It was an action packed day (Ziplining, ATVs, hugging Sloths and seeing Monkeys on the other side of the Island) and we were worn out and on the way home. ATVing was a lot of fun! We went to East Bay (saw a rather large chained pet Pig, a cemetery and a cross in the ocean). There aren't any Security Guards around like in West Bay; however, there were a group of five people from the company (plus our personal Tour Guide, Wilson) that came ATVing with us and I liked that. They do stop at a restaurant to bring business to the that side of the island. The restaurant is on the water so it's a nice location and the prices are higher; however, the food was really tasty due to the seasoning. The tour provides a good opportunity to see other parts of the island and they really want to make sure that you enjoy yourself and feel safe. Bring a lot of smaller bills for tipping: the Zipline staff, your personal "Zoo" Tour Guide that has tricks for taking good photos with the animals, the ATV staff and your personal driver and guide that is with you for the whole day.

We did a tour of the island with Terry who did a fantastic job showing us around and letting us stop to shop and take pictures of different spots of the island. Such a great time. The van was clean and very nice and Terry did a great job explaining where we were going and what we were seeing throughout the tour.

What a full and fantastic day spent with Javey Greenwood as our tour guide. We has so much fun learning about the chocolate factory, took a private boat trip through Oak ridge with Javey and Freddy. We stopped at a Jimmys Hideout and went through the mangroves, had some lunch in Punta Gorda.

My husband and I had the most amazing time with Aldin as our guide! His personality and knowledge of the island made the experience even more enjoyable. Our satisfaction was his greatest concern. If you are looking for a small group experience of Roatan, Aldin is the guy!

I've booked tons of excursions through Trip Advisor, and never been more disappointed than today. I have stage 4 cancer, and this may very well be my last family vacation. I've been so looking forward to visiting Roatan with my kids. I did a bunch of research and was going to just have us explore on our own, but at the last minute I decided to book this excursion so we could learn more about the history and culture of the island while taking it all in. The trip was advertised as: Monkey/sloth experience, run factory, chocolate factory, island tour and beach. The description mentions visiting both the east and west sides of the island and promises drives through various neighborhoods and stops for breathtaking views and photos. The ONLY part of the description that was accurate was the sloth and monkey experience. When our driver picked us up from the cruise port we were told that the rum factory was closed and we wouldn't be able to go there. The "chocolate factory" was nothing more than a tiny store selling chocolate bars. Next, we were taken to a small tourist gift shop before heading to see the sloths and monkeys. Instead of being taken to the west end of the island, the driver insisted the water at Little French Cay was much more beautiful and drove us there instead. When we got out of the vehicle we were met by sales people telling us we needed to purchase an additional package to go to the beach (the cheapest being $69pp in addition to what we had already paid). When we asked the driver about this he told us it was our only option. Our driver and the salesman exchanged words about needing to push us harder to purchase a package. The driver was also anxious to drop us off in order to pick up another tour (even though we were promised 4-6 hours) and it had only been a little over 2 hours at this time. We told the tour guide that an additional $350+ just to go to the beach wasn't really in our budget. He offered to drive us back to the cruise port. On the way there he said he knew of another place that we could snorkel and get food. He dropped us off at a small spot on the water that was filled with taxis and tour buses dropping off other travelers for their snorkeling excursions. He said he would be back in 3-4 hours to return us to the cruise port. We couldn't get anyone there to help us with arranging a snorkeling trip. We had our own gear asking so we tried snorkeling off the shore, but it was mucky and full of weeds. We didn't see a thing. The menu at this location was filled with things like burgers and chicken strips. We called our tour guide and asked about getting something more local/authentic to eat. He informed us he was on another tour and could come back in 2.5-3 hours and stop so we could get something at the gas station before dropping us at the cruise port. We were finally able to find a kind gentleman willing to drive us a few miles down the road to a restaurant so we could get something to eat. We paid him a flat rate per person for the ride. All this to say, our one day in port at Roatan was a complete loss and I will likely never get the chance to come back and explore it's beauty with my family. Shame on you for false advertising, for taking our money, and for robbing us off this opportunity.

This was a perfect relaxing way to see more of the island. We have been staying in West End and scuba diving each day and this was a relaxing day off for us. We were a couple in a car with just us and the driver so it was very personal. Harley Bennett was our driver and he was wonderful. He is a calm and friendly person who made our tour very enjoyable. As we moved around the island he told us about each place we passed along with some history. We stopped in the sloth and monkey park and enjoyed learning about the animals and even holding them. It was a very low pressure tour and just what we needed. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant where we were able to relax and take it easy (separate review, Paradise restaurant next to the zip line). Harley accommodated anywhere we wanted to go for example stopping at an ATM out of town, etc. Thanks Harley for a great and relaxing day that gave us a good idea of the rest of Roatan away from where we were staying.

We were on RC's Allure of the Seas cruise and we met our driver outside the ship. Our driver wqs named Whitney and he was outstanding and patient. Whitney made us laugh and was entertaining. The park with the Monkeys and Sloth is very clean and the tour is very informative on the history of Roatan. We experienced sloths, monkeys, and Mccaw birds. The Monkeys will climb on your back and around you so don't wear your finest clothes. We learned how they made chocolate and they had free samples as well as bars to purchase. The rum factory was delicious as well with free samples. There was 5 in our group and it was priced right for 4-5 hour tour and cheaper than any comparable tour on the boat. We had a great time.

Moses, our tour guide and driver, is the only reason I didn't score this experience as a 2/3 out of 5. I contacted the company about a month before the experience took place and notified them of the ship's schedule change, which meant we would not be docking until 8 AM. The individual who replied back stated it wouldn't be a big deal since my family's departure was scheduled for 9 AM. Instead, we, along with passengers from our cruise ship and the other cruise ship, stood out in the sun and heat for an hour + until they could re-arrange the transportation. We left around 0940 AM after reporting to the tour manager around 0820 AM. We were told to squeeze into a van with other families who went to the Iguana Sanctuary. We did not want to go to the Iguana Sanctuary. When we arrived at the Iguana Sanctuary, they tried to convince us to stay and tour the Iguana Sanctuary with the group. I was adamant that we wanted to see the monkeys and the sloths, so we went with another packed van filled with a large family to the monkey & sloth sanctuary. When we were done, they arranged for Moses to come pick us up and go to the chocolate factory and rum factory. When Moses came to pick us up, he was very friendly and welcomed us with a smile. We didn't want to spend much time at either place, so he took us to one of his favorite restaurants, where we tried eating iguana for the first time- it's actually quite flavorful with the texture of fish. Our family learned so much history and facts about Honduras and felt like we were well taken care of by Moses! Moses' love for his country is reflected in how he talks highly of Honduras. If we had started with Moses, I feel like the trip would have been 5/5!! Ask for Moses for your tour guide if you're able to!

Tour was worth the expense, the only challenge was finding the meeting point (just make sure to ask when you leave the cruise port). Our tour guide (Moses) was very friendly and proud of his island. The monkeys and sloths were great to be around, although it was a bit touristy. Chocolate "factory" was small and crowded, but we did get to sample and buy some good chocolate. It was a good day on the island for sure.

We had a West-Caribbean cruise two weeks ago and this Roatan excursion was one of the highlights of the whole vacation. The competitor was Dolphin ride in Cozumel, which was twice the cost. What we liked especially (actually we liked everything): 1. Flexible schedule and effective use of time. No need to wait for buses and big groups. It was only our family (4 people) in the car and our fantastic(!) guide Tommy was ready to start as soon as we had landed. So we could start the excursion more than an hour before the scheduled time. We got maximum from our time on Roatan. In addition to the main stops, Tommy showed us other places and told us so much about Roatan. We got more than was promised to us and more than we expected. 2. As expected, all the wonderful creatures - sloths, iguanas, monkeys, parrots impressed us. It's not just a zoo, but you can really be in contact with the animals and they seem to like it too. We were lucky to see a wild sloth just nearby also. Seeing some big fish, including a wild barracuda was another bonus. The local staff does the work with passion, it's more than just business for them. 3. Snorkeling was even better than in Belize (and Belize was also great). Special thanks to Jack Sparrow from my 80 year old dad, who to his own surprise was able to do his first snorkeling - the whole swim. Jack was really skillful in encouraging and coaching the beginners. 4. It was fun all the time! My son still repeats Tommy's jokes. Thanks again, Tommy!
