- Road341664554910 contributionsGreat time in MoroccoOur driver and guide were fantastic, we had a fabulous time. The communication and promptness was perfect. We used them for 10 days and the whole experience was perfect.Written January 20, 2025
- 94rutht0 contributionsOnce in a lifetime journey!Although the car trip from Fes to the desert is very long, we were able to stop at quite a few interesting places on the way (the Atlas mountains were a highlight) and our driver Mohammad was so funny and knowledgeable. The desert experience itself was unforgettable. The camel ride was once in a lifetime, and seeing the sand dunes in person was amazing. I'd recommend it 100%Written March 29, 2024
- gaiam8060 contributionsTrip Fez to MarrakeshVery nice 2 days trip from Fez to Marrakesh across the Atlas mountains. Our kind driver Omar brought us to incredible sightseeing places and in our desert accomodation where we were able to do sand boarding and camel rides! Definitely recommendedWritten February 23, 2024
- Flavia g0 contributionsPerfect tripWe had a perfect desert trip with “Fes Desert Trips”. Our trip stared in Marrakech and ended in Fes. Our driver was Kamal, and we could not have asked for a better person to be with us these three days. Every step was flawless. We were picked up by our riad, it was just my husband and I in the car. Surprisingly, the long road trip was the highlight of the 3 days. We passed absolutely beautiful mountains, valleys, villages, and made plenty of stops to take pictures and to shop. It was like being inside of a history book. We stopped in different places for lunch and snacks. All were wonderful. Kamal pointed out and recommended places to sight seeing and helped us to negotiate prices when needed. The riad on the first night was beautiful and super comfortable. The camp was wonderful as well. I would not change anything on this trip and I totally recommend this to anyone that wants to see the Atlas mountain and the Sahara desert.Written February 2, 2024
- 464mirandap0 contributionsFun in the desertI have nothing but good things to say about this trip, it was great! We were a group of two friends and our 14 yr old sons. We did 2 nights from Fes to the desert and back to Fes, going and coming back via different routes. It was very easy to organise with Nabil, and Tarik, our driver was fantastic and really good fun to hang out with. He introduced us to lots of interesting people and was full of knowledge about the places we visited and passed through. The desert hotel was basic but comfortable, with a lovely pool and really helpful staff. The camel trek and luxury desert camp was very well organised and we were made to feel very welcome. We particularly enjoyed the hair-raising ride back across the dunes in the jeep! If there is anything I’d have done differently, it would have been to research the route more thoroughly before we left so I could have put in a few requests for stops at places I’d like to have seen, but even without that, it was still a fantastic adventure.Written June 5, 2023
- 457liuf0 contributionsUnforgettable Morocco TourWe group of 4 from Canada had an unforgettable 8 nights/9 days Morocco private tour with Fes Desert Trips in mid March. It’s fantastic life experience and I definitely recommend this trip and this tour company to everyone. We got recommended to this tour company through a close friend. From booking initial inquiries, Nabil (tour company owner) was so patient with respect & helpfulness to answer our questions/concerns and arranged tours & accommodations to meet our requirements. Our driver/guide Madih, he is such a wonderful young guy. Knowledgeable, informative, open minded, funny and caring, also he is a very good safe driver. He got us stopped in lot of optional impressive attractions so we had more opportunities to see beautiful Morocco. Madih even cooked local Morocco cuisine for us in Riad. Through 9 days road trip we learned a lots from Madih about Morocco’s sights, history, culture, religion and economy. Yes, through this tour we enjoyed beautiful Morocco landscapes, rich culture & history, friendly people, delicious local food, unique riad & village accommodation, old Medina market, traditional trades & crafts, Sahara desert camp with camel ride and ATV adventure through amazing dunes, hight Atlas Mountains drive…… too many to list. Thanks a lot to Nabil & his team specially Madih.Written April 28, 2023
- alexanderwL3671WC0 contributions3 nights / 4 days desertBooked a 3 night / 4 days trip through the desert. Slightly adjusted by staying in a hotel in the todra gauges, which was an excellent choice for us. The driver (Bader) was very helpful throughout the trip and offered lots of optional stops. And yes, you will get lured into local business which are always friendly but very obviously mainly want to sell overpriced stuff. But you are never forced to buy something. That's just how it is, no big deal. Best for us was really the camel ride itself and also just driving through the high atlas mountains. Would not recommend doing less than the 3 night option. You will just be sitting in the vehicle all day.Written March 26, 2023
- sylwiacS472UT0 contributions2 families with kids- 1st time in Morocco - I recommend it to anyoneWe were 2 families travelling together with kids ages 7,10 and 12. Never been to Morocco before so we were a little nervous about it all. We had the most amazing time there. We decided to be picked up straight from Fes airport and taken to the dunes. Our driver Fuad was brilliant too. Knowledgeable, funny and a ver safe driver. We spent 1 night in the dunes hotel and 2 nights in the camp with many activities organised. I couldn't recommend them enough. We had a trip of a lifetime and would happily return to the desert!Written March 22, 2023
- mingqi Z0 contributionsGood Cancellation policyWe try book 9 days private tour in Morocco. Although we did not end up going on this trip due to other conflicts, I would like to commend the excellent customer service of Nabil & the Fes Tour Team. His response rate to all our inquiries was extremely fast. He plans the itinerary with great care and customization. He offered additional options for hotels/riad that we could choose from in response to our request. He honored the refund cancellation policy for the deposit and was very easy to work with.Written March 1, 2023
- erikamW7547IU0 contributionsHighly recommend! My partner and I did the 4 day, 3 night trip from FES to Marrakech. It was absolutely amazing- our driver was so lovely and taught us so much about the history, sights and was very helpful. Communication was easy from booking, meeting up and everything in between. The value we got for the price was outstanding. Would highly recommend using this your service! Don’t have any negative or constrictive feedback. A+ alL around!Written December 30, 2022
- 944rikkiw0 contributionsWonderful week in MoroccoWe did both the day trip around fes - and four day trip from fes into the desert. I cannot recommended Nabil and his team of guides / drivers enough. We had to change our trip twice and every message was answered by Nabil with courtesy and helpfulness. Nothing was too much for him and his team. I would totally recommend planning any trip with Fes Desert Trips - we felt totally safe and were treated with respect at all times. We are looking forward to planning the next trip with them as this turned out to be one of the best trips we have had in a long time. Lastly, I would recommend using the luxury camp in the desert as it is stunning. Thank you to Nabil and his team for making the holiday perfectWritten November 13, 2022
- nikkitG7922KD0 contributionsComfortable & convenient! Our driver, Badr, came to the hotel to pick us up on time, with his car parked right in front and cold bottles of water to welcome us. Throughout the entire journey, he was really friendly and approachable. He speaks good English too so it was really easy to communicate! The itinerary itself was good, and we were able to see everything we wanted to see.Written September 21, 2022
- TheRealMoe0 contributionsGreat Moroccan Desert ExperienceReally great experience. The communication with Nabil before our tour was excellent. He made us confident everything was going to be smooth. From the moment our guide, Madih, picked us up in Fes we had a wonderful time. The car was great and Madih is a safe and careful driver. He explained so much about Morocco, the people and culture everywhere we went. He really gave great effort to make sure we had a good time and also saw the best and welcoming nature of the Moroccan culture. The hotels we stayed at were good and the meals and service were great. The entire trip was well done. We are very happy we chose to take the desert tour and highly recommend it.Written July 18, 2022
- andycarvin0 contributionsFriendly and efficient airport transferEverything we'd hoped for in an airport transfer. Our driver was waiting for us in the arrivals area and brought us to an air-conditioned van for the drive to our riad. He was very friendly and called ahead to our riad so they could have someone walk us the last few blocks into the medina, since cars aren't allowed beyond a certain point.Written June 26, 2022

It was an amazing Desert tour that I ever had. We rode camel from Merzouga to Erg Chebbi Dunes over an hours to the luxury tent during sunset and stayed overnight. The tent was unexpected so comfortable and we had chance to see many stars in dark desert. The sunrise in the desert was beautiful and riding back was fascinating. We had a professional driver who drove all the way safety annd make us felt relax.
Nabil is responsible and helpful guy and we are very happy with him for arranging our 3 days private tour.

The desert tour was truly a once in a lifetime experience - the tents were very nice (private bathroom/shower), and the food was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend the ATV in the desert, even though it’s an extra 50 euro - that was the highlight of our trip. As a heads up, the itinerary is different than the description: you make several stops, including the Atlas film studio and Ourzazate, which we hadn’t wanted. That said, when we reached out to our operator, he graciously provided us private transport so we could get to Marrakech ASAP and maximize our stay there. it’s on you to communicate with the tour provider, but if you reach out they are happy to accommodate you.

We were a group of 3 females travelling in Morocco and had an excellent and enjoyable experience during our 3 day/2 night Private Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech. Right from the get go, Nabil was very easy to communicate with in regards to booking the tour, and his e-mail response time was quick for follow up questions. He also helped us arrange a custom tour from Chefchaoeun to Fes with stops in Meknes and Volubilis separate from our desert tour, so overall the company is very flexible with customizing tours, so just ask if there is something you want to do.
Madih was our driver for both the 3 day desert tour and the custom Chefchaoeun to Fes tour. We can't say enough great things about him! While he was intended to be our driver, he really ended up being our unofficial guide and giving us as much information as he could regarding the sites we were seeing. He was just a fun person and very easy going, but he was a good reference for general history and cultural questions regarding Morocco as well. He knew great look out points, food stops and good artisan shops and coops. We specifically requested to visit a co-ops and stores run by women and he was able to make that happen more often than not (which is particularly difficult to do in a place like Morocco).
Both of our tours were exceptionally good value for money. We even upgraded to the luxury desert accomodation option and were very pleased with the price point. Camping in the sahara was highlight and I would definetly recommend upgrading, the facilities are amazing and it was the best sleep I had my entire trip!
Would totally recommend this tour to everyone!

Not only do I highly recommend doing this trip but I especially reco Fes Desert Tours for the 3day/2nite luxury desert tour. My family of four adults felt it is worth every cent! Nabil, the owner was a pleasure to work with, answering all of my questions (and I had many!) about every part of the tour before we put down a deposit which I so appreciated. He provided great communication just before starting, during and after the tour. The tour itself is absolutely amazing!!! I had read that the scenery in and out of the camp would be interesting, but it far exceeds all expectations In terms of natural beauty. The company also does an excellent job of stopping at interesting places all along the way, so the drives really don’t feel that long. I was a bit worried when I saw it would be 8-10 hour drives, but it’s really manageable and some stops allow you to do a bit of walking or climbing, so you get to move, too! The Sahara team is great, Salim expertly directed our camels caravan, Mohammed was an entertaining character who served us dinner and lead the evening festivities around the campfire with his team of drummers. The bivouvac was so unique and special. But if you go in the winter, do not underestimate how cold it will be at night!!!! Our driver/guide, Tariq was fabulous and his driving skills were top notch. The mountain roads are pretty tight, winding and steep. We were grateful that we did not have to navigate them ourselves!! We also appreciated that Tariq could speak english so we could talk, learn more about the country and culture, as well as get a personal perspective on life in Morocco. He was so friendly and kind. We learned so much from him, it really added another wonderful dimension to the trip. We really can’t say enough about this company and how well run this tour is. If you’re thinking about doing a Sahara trip, do this one! You will have the experience of a lifetime! Thanks Nabil, Tariq, Salim and Mohammed!!!

We had a very nice experience, the tour itself was well organized and we were able to see a lot of different landscapes of Morocco, and different attractions we might have missed without the tour. The desert was a unique, beautiful experience and everyone involved was very kind. And the camels were so cute, it does feel a bit touristy to ride one, but it was still so much fun and it was so interesting talking to our berber guide, to understand how he lives, what they do and their lifestyle. Our tour guide, Madih, was fun and taught us a lot about Morocco (and many Arabic words)! I think he made the tour a little more authentic telling us about Morocco today, comparing experiences and telling us about his life. It is a long way to Marrakech and he was very careful to make us feel comfortable and help us if we needed anything. He also helped us negotiating with shop owners 😂 as we are not really good at it! It is a long trip but if you want to see a lot of things in a few days I think it’s worth it.

The excursion was a highlight of our trip to Morocco! The team was helpful every step of the way and our driver was so insightful, accommodating, and fun to hang out with. Our favorite part was spending a night in the Sahara: riding camels through the dunes at sunset, an incredible starry night with great food and musicians, and waking up to see the sunrise. That’s not to discount the many other sights and experiences we had (like feeding monkeys, swimming in mountain rivers, and taking in the constantly changing and beautiful landscapes/vistas that were commonplace on our drive). Needless to say we recommend!

If you do not have many days, this is the perfect trip to visit Maroc between the marvelous Fes and Marrakech. We passed the Atlas mountains and visited several Berber authentic villages. Arriving to the desert, camels were just waiting, taking us to an unforgettable dinner and night in a Berber tent. The guide was always attentive to our requests and ready to stop to the most panoramic points. I strongly recommend Fès Desert Trip.

Nabil booked us a 3 days 2 nights
Madih our private driver was exceptional.
We stopped anywhere and he was able to guide us around with a great smile and kindness.
We hadn’t received our luggages Casablanca and after a long trip
from Merzouga he agreed to drop the family to Marrakech than drove me to Casablanca airport and back to pick up the missing luggages. A long drive of 5 hours.
I’m forever grateful.
Book this company, they are great.

My, my husband and our adult son spent 10 days in Morocco in June 2023. This 3 day tour was by far our favorite time in Morocco. Hassan was our driver and he was amazing. We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. My favorite part was the tour through the town in the desert. This is a family business and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We also LOVED the hotel in the Dades valley. They met our every need and were so hospitable. I can't recommend this company enough.
