Sunset Camel Ride in the Palm Grove of Marrakech
From US$50.02
Combine a camel ride with insight into traditional Berber life on this all-in-one, small-group experience in Marrakech—a mix that’s difficult to arrange independently. Visit a Berber home to hear about the family’s daily life as you sip mint tea, and enjoy a camel ride through the palms of the city’s Palmeraie as the sun sinks below the trees. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for a hassle-free experience.
What to Expect
After late-afternoon pickup from your central Marrakech hotel, travel by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your first stop: a traditional Berber home.

Receive a friendly welcome from the family who inhabits the house, and enjoy a refreshing glass of mint tea, made in time-honored Moroccan style. Chat to the family as you drink and gain fascinating insight into their daily routines and way of life.

Next, continue to the Palmeraie, the swathe of palm groves on Marrakech’s fringes. Here, done a Berber touareg robe and cheich headscarf for sun protection, and after a safety briefing, settle into the single-seat saddle on your camel.

Then, relax and soak in the tranquility as you plod gently through the palms and sands, enjoying the views as the sun sinks below the horizon and taking photos on route.

After an approximately 1-hour ride, return to your vehicle and end your experience with a hotel drop-off.

Smiles all around on this trip. Excellent customer focused company to deal with. Smooth pick up and drop off at very well behaved 'camels'. Guides were nice and not pushy.

We were picked up by our driver Mido who was a very friendly and charming man. Very informative and kept the conversation flowing. The camel ride itself was great fun, I was a little dubious at first as I'm not a huge lover of camels...More

Jamal who was a guide on the bus for pick up joked our camels were 5 star and actually they were. The camels were well behaved and meant for a relaxing 45 min ride, plus they were comfortable too, don't underestimate this is I had...More

If you mean the medina by central location I would recommend find a riad, we went for “dar el boumba” which was great for group of 7-8. Within medina the pickup is not in front of your medina as stated on previous answer... More
