Overview
Discover Marrakech’s verdant oasis from the top of a camel on this sunset camel ride through the Palmeraie, a huge palm grove a short drive from the city. After being picked up at your Marrakech hotel, you will head to the Palmeraie for your scenic camel ride experience, then you’ll visit a Berber house and have snack and mint tea.
Highlights
  • Hassle-free Marrakesh combo of Palmeraie sunset camel ride and Berber home visit
  • Enjoy a guided camel trek through the palm groves at sunset
  • Learn about local life over mint tea at a Berber family home
  • Group limited to seven for a personalized experience
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off for your convenience
What to Expect
After late-afternoon pickup from your central Marrakesh hotel, travel by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your first stop: a traditional Berber home. Receive a friendly welcome from the family who inhabits the house, and enjoy a refreshing glass of mint tea, made in time-honored Moroccan style. Chat to the family as you drink and gain fascinating insight into their daily routines and way of life. Next, continue to the Palmeraie, the swathe of palm groves on Marrakesh’s fringes. Here, don a Berber Touareg robe and cheich headscarf for sun protection, and after a safety briefing, settle into the single-seat saddle on your camel. Then, relax and soak in the tranquility as you plod gently through the palms and sands, enjoying the views as the sun sinks below the horizon and taking photos on route. After your ride, return to your vehicle and end your experience with a hotel drop-off.

Our guides made us feel very welcome. Hamzi chatted and joked with us and gave us a lot of information about the camels, Moroccan culture and Marrakech geography. The tea, olives, bread, and biscuits were lovely and so was the woman who served it. Hamzi...More

They seemed to be well treated to me. They all had names and our tour guide showed us where they live normally.

The tour company picked us up at the hotel. I would suspect they will you as well but when booking it should say in the details if they will pick you up directly at the hotel.
