Atlas Mountains Hot Air Balloon Ride from Marrakech with Berber Breakfast and Desert Camel Experience
If you’re keen to do a hot air balloon ride over the Atlas Mountains while in Marrakech, it seems like a waste not to add the extra touches that will make it a super-memorable experience. With this tour, you get numerous perks, including snacks and coffee as you watch your balloon inflating, plus a post-flight camel ride and Berber-style breakfast that lets you relax and talk about your experience before returning to your hotel.
What to Expect
Begin early with a 4x4 pickup at your Marrakech hotel, and journey to the balloon launch location.

On arrival, refuel with tea, coffee, and pastries, and watch your expert team prepare and inflate your balloon. Then, settle into the sturdy basket for takeoff. Each basket carries up to eight passengers, and there’s ample space to relish the sights as you fly.

Gaze at the desert and admire the sunrise over the craggy valleys and mountains as you float over the Atlas foothills. Touch down and visit a tent to enjoy a Berber-style breakfast of delicacies such as flatbreads, pancakes, fresh fruit, and mint tea.

Receive a souvenir flight certificate, and then take a camel ride around the Palmeraie, the palm oasis skirting Marrakech. Your experience then finishes with a drop-off at your hotel.

Honeymoon balloon ride!

Beautiful experience, the balloon ride alone would be worth it (and the pilot's sense of humour did wonders to put everyone at ease) - but the extras really made the experience special. We were well looked after from collection at our riad to dropping off...More

Amazng Experience

The experience was amazing! I would do it again! The only clarification I would add is that this is not an Atlas Mts Balloon ride as the description says. You will ride about 10-15k out of Marrakech and launch from there back towards the city....More

This trip ran very smoothly, we were picked up at 5am at a prearranged meeting point very close to our Riad. We were driven to a beautiful tent where we were offered tea, coffee, orange juice and pastries. After deciding it was too windy to...More

I have no regrets

This was truly a great experience. I had never been on a hot air balloon before and was a tad nervous, but the pilot Maria was very professional (and funny) and it felt like a very safe flight. The Berber breakfast was lovely as well,...More

The noise of the gas heaters on the balloon may scare them.We had a bad landing which required holding on to the sides of the basket which would be hard if you were holding on to the child.I would not bring my 2 year old.
