A brilliant day out with a fab guide
Brilliant day with the wonderful Ismail. Ismail Was a brilliant guide, kind, funny and brilliant at talking us through the history and culture of the area. I’ve been on a few Atlas mountain tours and really appreciated how lovely the lunch was, and how little pressure you felt to buy anything etc. Would highly recommend!

Excellent host and breathtaking views activities.
Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end. Ismail and hesham were genuine, warm knowledgeable and good fun. Excellent confident safe driving in a well conditioned bus. Imail even mended my shoe 😃 The trip itself was vastly underpriced in my opinion, great value for money. The itinerary was brilliant a real taste of Morocco.

Atlas mountains, camel ride, waterfall, lunch and dinner
A fantastic experience which is highly recommended. We were picked up and dropped off at a mutually agreed location. Mustafa, the tour guide is highly knowledgeable and funny. He shared some interesting information along the way, including historical and cultural. The drive was safe and comfortable . We had the opportunity to get to know others on the tour and everyone was friendly. We even met some people from the UK. Mustafa stopped and purchased water for everyone along the way and we had some delicious nuts and mint tea on arrival at the Atlas Mountains. We dressed up in local berber dress and went for a camel ride which was lots of fun and there was plenty of opportunity for photos through out the tour. Lunch was bread with various delicious dips; argon oil, olive oil, honey and a peanut dip. Dinner was prepared by Mustafa’s mum which was delicious and substantive; couscous, veg, chicken, salad. We saw the women’s co-operative where argon oil was made by hand. There was a variety of handmade products (inc soap) available to purchase. We weren’t expecting the hike, which although was wonderful, may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Definitely value for money. A bargain in fact! A wonderful experience.

Fabulous! Omar Imzilen gave us a very memorable day filled with interesting information, about Morocco & the Berber way of life, & adventure. We were very thankful for he & his families hospitality, it was this special touch that made this excursion stand out from the rest.

          Beautiful tour from Mustapha!
Mustapha was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable about the places we went and took us to very authentic places to eat, one of which was his mother’s restaurant in the mountains. The hike was beautiful and we stopped at many amazing places to take photos and watch the views. The trip to the agafay desert was very cool, dressed up in traditional dress and had tea then went on a camel ride. Camels seemed well looked after too which was good to see. Very good value for the day, 100% recommend!!

The perfect choice for a trip into the Atlas mountains
Truly excellent value for money. I find it hard to imagine how they were able to offer such a 10 hour excursion with excellent and informative guides in a modern and comfortable vehicle including a dinner with a locale family in (our guides home). Our intelligent and attentive guide (Mustafa) explained in great detail not only the things we were viewing but also so much about the life & culture of both the city and remote rural areas. Be aware that the hike down to the waterfall is quite a hike involving some steep & unguarded steps & slopes especially if has rained as happened to us. The visit to a local produce market was amazing and we were not hassled in any way by the local traders. The trip included a womans co-oprative to taste local Argon & Olive oils where it was possible to buy local products, again with no one hassling us in any way to buy. The dressing up and camel ride was good fun. The dinner with the family of our guide was an excellent Tagine and couscous with salad was delicious, we certainly didn't need to eat again that day! From pick up at 08.30 to the drop off at around 18.45 we were looked after all the way. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour & company. Be aware that as you travel into the area you will clearly see the devastation & consequences of the 2023 earthquake with numerous tented settlelments. This disaster has had a far more disastrous effect and ongoing consequences to the simple mountain village communities than was experienced the city.

          Unforgettable trip…….
I had an incredible day trip to the Atlas Mountains with Mustafa the tour leader. It was not only amazing but also great value for money. We were picked up from the hotel, enjoyed a camel ride, visited an argan oil small factory with delicious nibbles, and then embarked on a mountain hike. The highlight was a homemade tagine prepared by Mustafa's kind family on the rooftop, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains. I can't praise this day trip enough—truly an unforgettable experience!

An Unforgettable Day Trip to Atlas Mountain
An unforgettable, fun and educational trip to Atlas Mountain. Our host Mustafa was kind, polite, patient, and caring. He speaks English, French, Berber, Arabic and know a little bit of Spanish. We had a full day of activities including camel ride, visiting Berber farmers market, Aragon oil factory, having the best Tagine made by Mustafa families. I highly recommend this tour for the quality of service, entertainment, comfort and ease of travel. Not forget that Hesham, our driver was great.

          The best tour guide ever!
Mustapha was an amazing tour guide. The kindest and most knowledgeable guy ever. He kept the group entertained with interesting facts and stories. The food was delicious and it was lovely seeing Mustapha interact with members of the community. Mustapha also helped my mum with the more difficult routes, always offering a helping hand, it was truly appreciated. A great day and if you’re looking for a good tour guide - Mustapha is your guy.

What can i say, except fantastic day out!!
We booked extremely late the night before, but Omar, guide and Abdul, driver arrived promptly for 9am pick up . Omar was very welcoming, presenting an itinerary to the group which sounded great. The group was approx 14 people which I felt was an ideal size. We went to several places, including a woman cooperative and the waterfalls. (Ensure you wear comfortable shoes throughout the day, preferably shoes with a good grip.) However, the highlight for me was the camel ride which was great fun and the fantastic family meal with Omar's family in their lovely Moroccan home. The food was so authentic and delicious served on the roof terrace overlooking the was magical. Omar and Abdul were a great team.. Omar providing a good overview of the history of the Berber people and the Atlas Mountain...i Iearnt a lot. He was attentive, checking at different stages if we were all OK. He also waited for the group to come together before discussing important information which he relayed in French and England. I appreciated this. On the way home we were enterainef with a great mix of music. It ended my day with a smile. Lastly, i would like to say thank you to Abdul. His driving skills were required to navigate the bendy roads. Well done! I am hoping to revisit Morocco in the near future and will definitely be in touch with Omar and Abdul . In the meantime I will be recommending them to others. The price for the trip was superb. Such great value. Thank you again. Fabulous Morocco and the people.

Amazing tour would highly recommend this one in particular our tour guide was so lovely and accommodating we had a nice van and he was so knowledgeable as well as the finer details like making sure we had toilet paper and hand wash where other tour groups did not. 5 stars from NZ 😁

Post earthquake visit to Marrakesh no evidence of any major damage in the city - I would certainly return.
Excellent day trip with our guide Omar Imzilen who is very knowledgeable about the Berber culture. He took us on a number of walks up mountains to small villages a waterfall and finally for lunch at his family’s home that was a lovely traditional Moroccan meal. The day was finished by a camel ride in the desert. All in all if you want a very interesting day with a guide who knows his stuff I would recommend Omar Imzilen.

I had never rode a camel before, or really any riding animal, so it was an exciting experience.
From Mustafa, who is also Amazigh, I learned a lot about their culture. He was incredibly helpful and hilarious. Even the animals were clamoring for a mouthful of the delectable chicken tagine and couscous.

I was in a small group with my guide Omar imzilen.
We first got picked up by a 4x4 and were introduced to momo the driver and Omar our guide .. They set the plan for the day and offered to stop if we needed anything on the way. We then drove to the mountains, had a tour from Omar with waterfalls and berber villages on the way. The last stop was tea and camel riding which was amazing.

The service I received from my guide Omar was second to none. He made sure I was completely comfortable, had water stocked for us, and answered any questions we had. He was a bank of knowledge on everything we saw in the tour and I cannot recommend a kinder, more knowledgeable guide for your visit. He is a credit to his tour company along with momo.

Momo our driver was amazing. He’s an experienced 4x4 driver and none of the Moroccan roads or off roads troubled him. He drove smoothly and always responsibly getting us to our destinations on time.

This was my first time time visiting Morocco let alone the Atlas Mountains and I could have not had a better introduction to the hospitality of the Moroccan people from momo and omar.

Overall 10/10 highly recommended, great value, everything you need from breakfast , food , tea, camel rides, waterfalls, hikes, Berber villages, picking and dropping off is covered in the price.

We booked this trip the day before we wanted to go and were slightly apprehensive as we didn’t know what to expect -but the whole thing was pretty much seamless from start to finish.
We were staying in a Riad in the central medina and they messaged us on WhatsApp the same day we booked to arrange a pick up point and time for the next morning eliminating any anxiety straight away.

The driver Abdul was lovely and a very smooth driver & we felt very safe with him. The main guide Mustafa was so friendly, welcoming and funny. He was full of facts and information and talked with us the majority of the journey which was lovely.
There was a group of about 11 of us all from different places and he gave us an opportunity to introduce ourselves so we could get to know each other.
The first stop was the camel ride which lasted about 20mins which was plenty of time. They dress you up in outfits and are very accommodating taking pictures for you. Then we all sat in the shade and had our first mint tea and biscuits for the day.
The second stop was a quick stop for photos with the mountains in the background.
The third stop was the women’s Argan oil cooperative where they showed you each step of the production and had a little shop should you feel you want to buy anything (there was no pressure). We also received an unexpected breakfast there, where we sat and had breads and homemade peanut butter and honey and edible argan oil.
We then carried on to the final destination which was Mustafa’s home village where we did a small and very manageable hike up in to the Atlas Mountains to a waterfall which was beautiful. Finally we were taken back to Mustafa’s family home, met his father and were treated to the most delicious traditional Berber lunch with the most wonderful Mountain View’s.

The bus journey was about 1 1/2 hours on the way back but longer on the way there because of all the stops. The bus was a comfortable ride and was nice and cool. There were toilets at each stop and they provided bottled water at the beginning of the journey for everyone. They also asked of any dietary requirements at the beginning of the day so they are accommodating with the lunch as well.
This day was one of the best of our trip, so nice to be able to see more of the culture and meet people from the villages. Also quite harrowing in parts especially seeing the damage that last years earthquake has caused to communities. So even more important to do trips like this and pay into those communities.
For the price you are paying you get so much for your money and it really is such a great day I would 100% recommend booking a day with these guys ☺️

We took this trip in March 2023 and cannot recommend it enough. Value for money is off the scale, would have paid more and communication from the tour operator was extremely good. We were collected from our hotel by Abdul and his driver at the time stated and taken on an amazing day out. I don’t want to say too much about the itinerary so it’s not spoiled for those yet to make the trip however I can confidently say that it was one of the best trips I have been on. Abdul and his driver were friendly, informed and extremely helpful to the point that one of our party has motion sickness and spent the entire trip on the front seat with them! Abdul was an excellent tour guide, well informed, easy to understand and funny! Not to mention extremely hospitable. I would 100% recommend this tour without hesitation.

This is the best one day excursion we did in Marrakech.

Our guide Omar was very helpful and did a great job making everyone feel accommodated and satisfied. Omar spoke multiple languages to an advanced level and explained the history and culture of the Moroccan nation, people and the Atlas Mountains.

We were shown up the Mountains, did some hiking, were given a full tour of a couple of local villages, enjoyed a lunch at his family home and went on a Camel ride later in the semi-desert too. The food his family provided was plentiful and delicious. The best tagine we have ever had and we have tried many on this week long holiday.

I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone seeking to enrich themselves in the Moroccan culture and enjoy a day out from the city of Marrakech.

P.S. Omar himself was probably the best guide in Marrakech. Humble, courteous, patient with difficult guests, very informative. Generally a top guy. We wish him and his family all the best!

Came to Marrakech for 5 days and looked for things to do here. Found this activity and can genuinely say this is one of the best excursions you will ever book if you're looking for scenic views, great hospitality and want to experience real Moroccan culture.

The van is very comfortable and there's plenty of stops along the way for you to take great photos or have them take photos for you.

The breakfast stop at the Argan Oil cafe is great if you want to buy some Argan Oil products and learn about this. You can even try grind some of your own Oil.

We couldn't make the hike to the waterfall as we had a child with us but the rest of the group were talking about how great that was.

Mustapha the guide arranges for you to have lunch and tea at his house. The lunch is amazing, such large portions of Tagine, CousCous Salad, and plenty of Tea. The view from his house are breathtaking at the bottom in the middle of the Atlas mountains.

We then went to the Agaday desert for the camel riding. This was a great experience. Everyone gets their own camel and suitable for children as well as long as an adult rides with them. The staff are great and will gladly take photos and videos of you riding the camel. You get to dress up in desert clothes as well and have a quick tea break after.

We then went to the edge of the Agafay desert to take some final few photos before heading home.

But out of everything it is the service, knowledge and hospitality that both Mustapha and Abdul Rahim (The driver and Mustaphas friend) that kept the day going despite it being a full 8 hour day.

Would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Marrakech for a great day out and wanting to experience Moroccan culture.

Despite the number of positive reviews, I went into this day trip slightly sceptical of what the experience would be like, given the low price. However, it exceeded all expectations and the low price represented excellent value for money, rather than a half baked itinerary.

Our guide for the day was Ismail and our driver was Abdul. Both were very engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable. There were a number of stops at each stage of the trip to provide information about the local people, culture and traditions.

Food was provided at a stop early in the day (bread with a selection of oils, honey & peanut butter) and then later in the day further up in the mountains (a very tasty tagine, with plenty of kous kous and veg!). Drink stops were also made along the way and Ismail provided us with a bottle of water ahead of a small trek to see the waterfall - which was a very nice touch.

The day was run in such a way that we really bonded as a group, despite starting the day as strangers and credit has to go to the organisers for that.

Overall, incredible value for money and I would highly recommend to anyone looking to take a break from the chaos of Marrakech!

Ismail - if you read this, my offer of returning the favour to you when you make it to the UK is very much open! 🤙

This day trip was the highlight of our visit to Morocco.
Omar Imzilen, our tour guide, was outstanding and he made this day trip very memorable for us. He told us a story behind nearly every village and area that we passed and was also very attentive to the group. We were kindly offered some water at the beginning of the trip and were looked after closely while hiking up the mountain.

We were never let on our own without knowing what was happening. Everything was explained in a clear manner and the necessary advice was given to us.
Omar constantly made sure we had time to take pictures and no one was left behind. He helped us take some of those pictures and even joined us in one!

Huge thanks to Omar’s family and relatives for the amazing lunch we had as guests at his home village in the Atlas Mountains! It was our best meal in Morocco.
The camel ride was also very interesting and Omar ensured we were safe at all times.

One other thanks goes to our driver Mohammed, who was a fantastic driver and made sure we reached each spot safely. Super smooth ride.
The trip definitely exceeded expectations and is worth much more than the money you pay for. I recommend this trip 100% for anybody looking to explore the Atlas Mountains and Berber lifestyle.

        The best day ever!
Abdelhadi our tour guide was amazing and
Abderahim our driver was amazing too. We had the best day since being in Morocco.
We got to see the Atlas Mountains and we had a little walk to a waterfall. The scenery was beautiful! We then walked to the Berber village and got some amazing food!
Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome.
The tour guide offered me his coat as it was a bit cold and the driver let me use his hoody which was lovely and warm.
It finished off with a camel ride which was so much fun.
I had got some toys to give the children and as I had so many left over Abderahim would stop the minibus and children would run over and we would give them the toys through the window.

Words can not begin to describe the exceptional quality of this tour. The drive to each destination was comfortable, the camel ride was great fun, the hike was lovely, with majestic views in every direction, and the food we ate was delicious.

But what set this tour apart was our wonderful guide, Mustafa. As a local Berber native, He was extremely knowledgeable and informative regarding the Altas Mountains' history and culture, making the experience more authentic. What wowed us even more was his kindness and generosity. He invited us into his home, where his family prepared a  traditional tajine meal of the highest quality (INCLUDED IN THE PRICING). Additionally, Mustafa supplied us with a light breakfast, mint tea, bottled water and adequate bathroom breaks throughout the day. The fact that all these amenities were included in such humble pricing was a fantastic and pleasant surprise.

Mustafa truly takes pride in his role as a tour guide and thoughtfully planned all aspects of the journey to maximise our comfort and satisfaction. This is a 100% must on your Morocco to-do list.

The tour itself is very good. The stops, places they go to and the waterfall is also very nice. Our guide was Omar Emzilen and he is an excellent guide whom I would highly recommend. He speaks English and explains well. He is very humble, friendly and very accommodating.

However, the tour operator fully booked the tour with each seat in the van fully occupied. This made the long ride to the mountain and back very uncomfortable for those of us sitting in the back seat. Because the van is on the smaller and narrow side, they should only have three individuals sitting in the back seats and not four. If you have four adults sitting in the back seat, it is very uncomfortable. Before you book your tour I would highly recommend that you ask the tour operator if he is fully booking the tour to maximum capacity and he is does do NOT book it. If you are unlucky to be picked up later than others, you will end up in the back seat and the whole ride/day will be uncomfortable.

In summary, I give the tour guide Omar Emzilen five (5) stars. However, I give the overall tour three (5) stars due to the uncomfortable ride all day - this ruined an otherwise very good experience. The tour operator should take note of this.
