Wilson made his own itinerary, 3 attractions plus 3 commercial visits, as opposed to 4 attractions + 2 commercials on Tripadvisor website. Wilson forced gusts to spend more time on commercial sites. We didn’t purchase anything at last commerical (gem factory), Wilson refused to drop off my family back to previously agreed location without any reasonable explanation, left us to take another tour bus which I was not comfortable. My family ended up ordering a taxi. I will find a way to ask refund and do everything in my power to broadcast this tour guide and the tour company.Written December 24, 2024

We were all ready staying in Old Town ( which is good, visit clocktower museums) and didn't want to buy jewellery or cashew nuts... We were sat on the upper deck which was lovely, and it stopped raining which meant they could open up the windows. Also due to the flooding we were unable to go past any significant landmarks, which we understood and that's totally expected in the wet season but a bit of a bummer.
You also can't hear each other talking because the speakers are incredibly loud. I've been able to hear people better in clubs. It made it hard to hold conversation during the meal portion of the evening. Food was okay but we expected that going in.
However the end of it turned into most tables getting up and dancing to the singer which was quite fun (even just to watch).

The best part of this experience was the driver for my hotel transfer. He pointed out sights on our way to IconSiam, made sure I was checked in, then showed me the correct pier. Unfortunately we had almost 2 hours of extra time because the pickup was scheduled for 5:30, we were all checked in and ready at 6:00, but the ship didn’t arrive until 7:45. He showed me around IconSiam and then told me about the water show outside by the pier, which I actually enjoyed more than the dinner cruise. I had a table in the middle on the lower level, so it was very hard to see anything worthwhile outside. I ended up standing outside at the front of the ship for the entire cruise so I could see and take pictures, but there wasn’t as much to see as I expected. Food was ok, not great. For $150, including transfer, it wasn’t worth the price.

The online booking for the dinner cruise went fast. The check in point was very crowded since there were a lot of boats leaving the same time. A hostess came to us to asist us, very nice and gave the experience a personal touch. Once outside at the pier there was a watershow with music, so cool! I booked a table for 6 outside on the deck. The service on the boat was excellent and the food delicious! Since it was a birhday surprise for my aunt it made it an extra special cruiseday. The food was delicious, the entertainment was super and the views of the temples! Just wauw! The fireworks gave the whole cruise experience a special bang! A must do!

I would like to take my time to write up about the travstore that they had arranged dinner cruise at very short notice.I called them and asked to check the availablility The person named Sahil was very cooperative and responded quickly and booked cruise dinner for us .I got it for very discounted price ..Food and music arranged in cruise was awesome .I would recommend to try travstore for the better experience.

There was a few families on board and one younger obviously newly in love couple who were having a fantastic time. Our experience was less than great however. To start- the check in process was very difficult to find. It is hidden in a small side area on the basement floor of this massive shopping complex. You are required to check in 90 minutes prior to the departure which seemed excessive.
Once it was close to boarding time they corral everybody onto this tiny pier to wait. There are assigned seats on the boat so all the smashing and pushing was completely pointless. They can only board 1 boat at a time at the pier so we ended up boarding about 15 minutes behind, after a 45 minute stand on the pier.
The buffet got a bit crazy. No order to how they let people eat, it was a “buffet is now open” announcement from the singer. And despite the never ending supply of food people still got crazy about getting their plates.
The sights were great, our table ended up the furthest away from the rail, and I am not sure if there was a different option for a better table at purchase but keep in mind that your table may end up 3 tables away from being able to see everything clearly.
Quality of food was decent. Nothing to write home about either good or bad. This will probably be our last dinner cruise. Not for us, but that doesn’t mean it’s not for everybody.

I was not at all impressed with the cruise let alone the entire experience. We collected our tickets at 6:30, bearing in mind it was extremely difficult to find the cruise stand inside the busy mall. Then we were notified the cruise was to set sail for 7:30, and given the lack of chaos and disorganisation we didn’t set off till 8pm, waiting in the humid air, standing up for over an hour. The pier was packed/cramped, as there were roughly 4/5 cruises all setting off at the same time…at the same pier, just pure havoc and no communication. Food was bang average, standard mass production of rice, and other oriental dishes. Seats are randomly allocated and we were placed bottom deck in the corner with no AC. The views were the only saving grace but I’d honesty not recommend this to anyone if hoping for a nice chilled/relaxing experience.

We loved watching evening scenery and all the lovely landmarks of Bangkok as we cruised the evening over Chao Phraya. It was exhilarating experience….tasty Thai cuisine, well laid buffet and not to forget lively music performed live …that made us dance….go for this if you want a fun evening and riverside experience. Travstore staff was super helpful to guide all along !!!

The location to redeem cruiser ticket was hard to find inside ICONSIAM. At the Pier there were confusion because there were different table for different cruisers boat for different time and no specific sign board to provide to show what time the right one cruiser boat arrive and for boarding. It was definitely disadvantage and not advise able for solo traveler or visitor to pay for this cruiser boat with dinner that given a seat inside inner roll instead of window seat after been long delayed and waited for a few hours before boarding. This cruise were more advantage for coups and big group up to 8 person that were provide them with better roll of sitting arrangement but NOT for solo or alone customer.

This cruise was extremely poorly organised by the agency (Travstore Travel). We booked our reservation days in advance, and on the day of the cruise we received a message by the tour operator to message her via Whatsapp. Upon messaging at 12pm (7 hours before check-in) we did not receive a response after multiple messages. We called the tour operator around 5pm and she advised over the phone to go to ‘Counter 1 Icon Siam’ to check-in for the cruise. We arrived to Icon Siam at 5:30pm (1.5hrs before check-in) and no reception staff at any information centre knew where to direct us, and we even received information that the cruise was cancelled due to new years celebrations. We spent over an hour looking to check-in and board the cruise with multiple calls to the tour operator (no answer) and as a result we missed the cruise.
We are extremely unhappy with this service as we planned our trip around the cruise for New Year’s Eve. Don’t recommend this cruise to anyone (Meridian Cruise) unless you are planning on wasting your money.

We booked this for December 31 2024 Dinner Cruise, 6:30 PM. Starting point is at Iconsiam based on the confirmation sent.
Three hours before we were at the mall already. We called the contact number given and we were told to proceed to Pier 1. At Pier 1, we were told that there is no dinner cruise because there is a new year’s countdown. We asked the staff wearing Chao Phraya but they keep on telling there is no dinner cruise. The Chao Phrayq office at the ground floor was also closed.
We paid for 5 people, with 2 old ladies. Despite sending emails to refund, there is no email response from Tripadivisor. Never again to this.
