Great expertise with elephants and Tep the guide!
Our tour with Tep was incredible! He was so knowledgeable about the elephants and always answering any question we had. He also was clearly so loved by the elephants that was adorable to see them interact with him. The bamboo rafting was nice and relaxing even in the rain and the experience with the elephants was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The elephants were all so gentle and was cool getting to feed them and bathe them. The waterfall hike at the end was a great way to cool down highly recommend booking with Pon and having Tep as your guide (he’s also a great photographer)!!!

        Excellent tour
It was a good tour. Our guide Jimmy was very humorous. I have been to many elephant camps and this is my favourite. During the lunch break, I chatted with a lovely, unassuming lady only to learn later that she is the owner of the camp. They take care of the elephants and also try to educated visitors about elephant welfare. I would recommend sneakers for the walking part and sandals for the water activities.

Highlight of our Asia trip is the tour of the elephant sanctuary. Our guide, Mr. Nopporn, was great and made the experience even more memorable and informative.

        Amazing interaction with elephants
We did the Elephant Tour through GetYourGuide Jakkie was our guide and Anan the driver. They were on time to collect us. They were very entertaining and interesting to talk to. The Elephant centre was originally used for logging but it converted to conservation and tourism about 50 years ago. The elephants are the key focus of everybody involved. Each elephant has a keeper who lives with it and they evidentially love them very much. They live in a wild part of the forest with vast open spaces and a river running through it. We got to spend time with the elephants and feed them and interact with them. Nobody is riding them or other such activities, as a guest you are just helping with their normal everyday activities such as feeding, washing in the river (amazing) walking them between areas. We then visited a waterfall nearby and swam underneath it, and then were taken back down river on bamboo rafts. Lunch was very good buffet style, and delicious. It’s a very well run day and Jakkie and Anan are knowledgeable and interesting guides

        Best experience in Chiang Mai
Can’t recommend Pon Elephant Tour enough to anyone who has wants to visit the elephants in Chaing Mai. We started the day off with bamboo rafting, then lunch, and finished with a visit to the elephants. It was amazing. We had Avi as our tour guide and he made sure we were all having a great time (to be honest he made the trip 10x more enjoyable). Sending any of my friends/family to spin Elephant if they are visiting Chaing Mai !!!!

Elephant sanctuary experience with a difference
Overall a fun and more adventurous way to see the elephants as a family with young adults. This elephant sanctuary tour took a while to get going but by the end we were happy, dirty and tired having enjoyed a fun and interactive experience. Some room for improvement which has been fedback to the tour operator.

        Amazing visit to Elephant Sanctuary!
Our family had an amazing big experience visiting the Elephant Sanctuary. Our guide, Tep, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and educated us about the Elephants we were visiting. He was great with our kids and we could clearly see that he cared for the Elephants. The sanctuary was well run and all the Elephants were treated well. We weee re able to safely interact with the elephants, feed them and bath them. After lunch one of our kids wasn’t feeling well and they were flexible with us to drop us back at our hotel so he could rest. Overall I would highly recommend this company.

Such a great time on our rafting/elephant sanctuary tour with Sumit! The elephants were so well taken care of, and it was clear the company cared about our safety as well as the elephants. The rafting was a lovely way to wrap up the day!

The tour was truly amazing. We were picked up at a close location and had a very pleasant drive with beautiful views. The driver Mr. K was very funny and entertaining. We got so many great moments with the beautiful and really funny elephants. The guide Pat took so many beautiful pictures of everyone that we were send in the evening. The guide hod was the best. He was so full of energy and you could really see how much he loved his job and the animals. The whole atmosphere was amazing and we got really good food as well.

We booked a 1 day private tour via their website of ethical elephant caretaker followed by a tour of doi sathep temple. Communication was excellent from the outset. We were picked up by Yuung and a driver in a VIP bus and taken to the elephant sanctuary first. What a fantastic place it is. You get to interact with the elephants in a respectful way and learn so much about them. We were allowed to feed the baby of the group and her mother, then were introduced to the rest of the herd, followed by a walk through the forest with them to the river where we helped to bathe them. Then it was off to make some herbal medicine balls which we then hand fed. It was so special being able to get up close whilst maintaining respect for these majestic animals. After enjoying our time there, we were taken for lunch at a local restaurant which was very tasty and whisked off to doi suthep. We all learnt so much from Yuung throughout the day and they were very good company throughout.
Doi suthep is a very old and much revered temple on top of a mountain just outside of Chiang mai. It was an interesting and educational experience. We all agreed it was a brilliant trip made unforgettable by out guides! If we had longer to spend in Chiang Mai we would have definitely booked more tours with them as they offer so many.

Private tour with a slower pace to cover the most important temple in Chiang Mai and the sticky waterfall. Tas was our tour guide. His English was great and he was very patient throughout the day. He answered so many of our questions and we got to learn more than all the other tours we went on. Tas was also critical in helping guide my mom up and down the sticky waterfall- he was a pro! Probably the best tour we did in Thailand for the personal touch and quality service. Highly recommend!

An absolutely amazing day on this tour today! A massive thank you to our guide and driver Maggie and Qum, they were incredible all throughout the day. First we visited the Doi Suthep temple and Maggie couldn't be anymore helpful with any questions we had and her knowledge of everything was brilliant. We headed on to our second temple Wat Pha Lat , which again was another fantastic visit. Followed by lunch which Maggie ordered for us with her own recommendations and we LOVED it all, so yummy! We finished off at Sticky Waterfall which is an ABSOLUTE MUST and so much fun!! Maggie was like our personal photographer all day without even asking haha Qum is an excellent driver and made us feel very at ease the entire trip! Overall would 100% recommend this trip if you're looking to explore Chiang Mai! Thank you again Maggie and Qum!! :D

What a delight. She and her driver met us at our hotel, took us to a very sacred temple that contains some remains of the Buddha. Toured all around the outside, interesting indoors. Had time to look through a jade factory in the morning as well. Lunch was incredible. Many delicious Thai specialties serve outdoors on a covered patio with a lazy river running next door. Sticky water fall was crowded with families and children on a Sunday afternoon, so it made people watching fun as folks tried navigating the waters. She knows many historical aspects of the city and Thailand both. We would highly recommend this tour. They always had cold water and sanitizer in the lovely van we rode around in. You can always request her specifically when booking.

My wife and I took this tour during our time in Chiang Mai and it was amazing. We were able to see so many of the local sites, and we were able to learn so much about Thai culture and history from our guide. Our guide was Maggie and she was excellent - she went above and beyond to make our day memorable, even taking pictures of us on her phone and sending them all to us at end of the day. If you are in Chiang Mai, definitely take this tour and request Maggie - you won’t regret it.

We had a wonderful time on this tour, it does a fantastic job of highlighting what Chiang Mai has to offer and is a nice balance of historical (famous temple with an amazing view over the city) and fun (sticky waterfalls which were an absolute blast to scale). One of the lunch offerings is Khao Soi, basically "the dish" to try when visiting Chiang Mai and it was incredibly tasty, surprisingly so in fact. The guide "Ronnie" did a great job of keeping things light and interesting, and clearly enjoys what he does!

This private tour was really nice. Mona, our guide, did a great job telling us about Thai culture and showing us some of the sites. Because we had her to ourselves, we were able to go at our own pace and ask a zillion questions. We saw some bigger tour groups at the temple and we knew if we had been in one like that it wouldn't have been as interesting for us. Also, the lunch at the restaurant was pre-selected and excellent. Way too much food! The driver was very courteous and attentive.

My family and I loved this trip. We are a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 children (4&7 years old) and our guide Thas could not have been nicer! He was very patient with the kids, he explained a lot of things in a kid-friendly manner and helped us a lot at the sticky waterfalls where we all had so much fun. I recommend this trip very highly!

This was a great experience with our guide Noi. We loved the sticky waterfalls, and our two girls of 8 and 11 years did them three times up and down - absolutely thrilled, and really fun for both adults and kids.
Noi was very knowledgeable and his English was excellent, with a perfect amount of really interesting facts about the sites and Thailand.
So we actually decided to sign up for two more trips with him 🙂
We highly recommend to book this trip, and if you get Noi as your guide you are in good hands.

Our guide was Mona and she and the driver picked us up at our hotel in old town Chiang Mai. At first Mona took us to the famous temple Wat Doi Suthep. She showed us around and explained much more than any other guide before did. It was so interesting to learn about the temple and Buddhism. The temple was crowded very well, so Mona showed us afterwards a much more quiet temple on the way down the hill. This temple (unfortunately we forgot the name, but it’s the place where the white elephant came to rest -> you will know what we mean after Mona explained it to you) was the most beautiful temple we had ever seen. There were plants everywhere and beautiful flowers. A small stream was flowing through the area.
The last highlight of the day was the sticky waterfall. We’ve never seen anything like this before! It was so funny to walk up the waterfall through the falling water. It is possible to walk there without sliding. Thank you Mona for the wonderful day!
