I contacted Prae by email on the recommendation of another TripAdvisor member as I wanted someone to take me on a private day tour to Wat Doi Suthep and a few other places nearby. Prae responded promptly in excellent English, and I was very happy to agree to the rate she quoted. Prae is a lovely, easy going, knowledgeable guide and I thoroughly enjoyed my day tour with her, which also included a visit to a Hmong village, a lunch stop, and visits to Mae Sa Waterfall and Wat Umong (the ‘tunnel temple’). So much so that, after my plans for the following day were thrown into disarray after a bike tour with another company was cancelled at the 11th hour, I booked a second day tour with Prae to Doi Inthanon National Park, which was also great fun. By the end of my two days with Prae I felt I had learned a lot not only about the places I had been to but also about Prae’s own life and Thai culture, and had gained a friend. Thanks again Prae! Prae is a good, careful driver and was always responsive to what I wanted to do. If you are looking for an excellent guide to arrange a bespoke tour for you, or to suggest an itinerary if you are not sure on where to go or what to see, then look no further!

We booked our tickets to the Yi Peng mass release at the Cowboy Army Riding club. we didnt book till september... and the tickets normally sell out way before that, but chiang mai popular tours still had a few tickets.. we were thrilled. the emailed the tickets that day and confirmed payment. the sent us an email the week before and then the day before to remind us of the event and where to meet etc. the staff were there to meet us and guide us into our private transfer out to the event... with our tickets etc.. and they had a stand at the event the entire time should we have any queries. we met back there at the end of the release and got quickly shuffled into a bus to get back to town. totally recommend the company

We had an extra day in Chiang Mai but didn't know exactly where to go or what to see. I used Prae to get our Lantern Festival tickets and checked with here on a day tour of the area. She/we created an unscripted day tour the was exactly what we were looking for. She took us to several temples, a silk factory, lunch and the hill tribes. She was very informative at each of the places we visited. She drove and navigated which was a big relief. Thanks Prae for making that a special day.

Wanted to see The White Temple in Chiang Rai super early without the usual crowd so I booked an early trip with Prae from Chiang Mai. She was very accomodating and an excellent tour guide. Funny & sweet too! If you guys ever head to Chiang Mai definitly book a trip with her.

The lovely lady helped us to organise our evening at the cultural centre - a delicious dinner seated on the floor, followed by a traditional Northern Thai dance performance - and a cooking class at the best Thai cooking school. Both activities were really enjoyable, particularly making our own delicious Thai meals at the cooking class.

Easy way to organise activities from someone who knows what there is to do and make suggestions. No hassles with what we booked and would use again next trip!

Our group had a great time exploring some of the beautiful and majestic temples of Chiang Mai, and our wonderful Tour Guide did a fantastic job explaining the history and cultural importance of these places. While the visit to these temples alone was spectacular, our knowledgeable and friendly guide was an incredible asset that made the experience much more rewarding. Chiang Mai Popular Tour company is one the best tour company I have used in Thailand. The guide is very knowledge and friendly. She took time to explain Thai culture and Thai food. The guide was always eager to answer questions and took time to explain temples and sites we visited. I would recommend this company to anybody who likes friendly guides to explore Chiang Mai.

We went to a small village that could see a stunning view of Chiang dao mountain. She is very nice and friendly :) very recommend!!!

I just came back from my trip in Thailand. I spent 3 days in Bangkok, 3 in Chiang Mai and 3 more in Phuket. I traveled with my husband, cousin and friend. I must say the highlight of my trip was my time spent in Chiang Mai partly because Prae of Chiang Mai popular tour made it a seamless and stressless process from beginning to end. I contacted her a few months prior to my trip with a list of places and things I wanted to do and she drew up an personalized itinerary for me. I made changes along the way and she accommodated each time and made her own suggestions when needed. Upon arriving to Chiang Mai she met us at the airport and arranged pick up for us which eliminated any worry to find transport to our hotel. She picked us up every morning from our hotel with a great smile and enthusiasm which always set the tone for the day. She booked everything for us so we wouldn’t have to, all we had to do was wake up, eat and show up to our tours and excursions. Everything was perfect and although are days were long and moving non stop we weren’t as tired as we should’ve been. Having Prae with us was truly like having a friend who lived in the city show us around. In Chiang Mai, we visited an elephant sanctuary, did bamboo rafting, watched a Muay Thai match, ziplined, temple tour, tiger kingdom, cooking class and 3D museum. Everything was just perfect and couldn’t have been better. Prae’s natural knack to relate to her customers really makes you feel like you’ve been friends for a long time. Her service is unmatched, she didn’t feel much like a tour guide but more like a friend showing you are their beloved city. I can go on about her. She was so much fun to be around, I traveled with three men and they absolutely adored her too. One of the days we had to take my husband to the hospital from a sprained foot from the day prior and she happily took us and didn’t mind we lost two hours from our day and happily made changes as we went along especially since it started to rain pretty hard during the day. She is so flexible And thinks fast on her feet which is always a plus. I would book her over and over again and recommend her to everyone I encounter interested in visiting Chiang Mai. Although she’s just starting out it feels like she’s been doing it for a long time. She’s knowledgeable about her city, Buddhism and the culture and provides info that only a local would know. She made me fall in love with the city. Thank you for keeping a smile on my face and helping make my birthday holiday one to remember. You are amazing! I hope I did this review justice as my trip was spectacular. Book her you won’t be disappointed.

Prea is very friendly and she's experienced tour guide in Chiang Mai both City and Adventure tour. Personally, she is the best guide and operator I have ever had in Thailand!
