About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- marckO8696AO0 contributionsPerfect day out exploring the beauty of these islandsA wonderful days trip out to see some lovely views and have some great experiences at this national park. The logistics (pick up and drop back to the hotel) went seamlessly. The day consisted of a roughly a 45 min ferry trip out to the islands, some fun kayaking (30 mins), a challenging walk to a lagoon lookout (sweaty after the kayaking), a simple but very wholesome and delicious lunch back on the boat, then an opportunity to explore one of the islands on foot (but we chose to just hang around on the beach and have a coffee). Then the ferry trip back after a busy, scheduled day enjoying the views, hum of the engine, lying on the top deck. Very well organised and time-managed for a large group with flexibility and options for those with different fitness levels. Nice to just do the walks without the kayaking. These islands have much more to offer, you can camp on one of them if you are more adventurous and have more time than we had.Written January 17, 2025

- 8DaveS80 contributionsAmazing!!!!!!! A must do tripFantastic guide (sexy man aka lulu?) who kept us safe, well informed and good stories with only one or two corny jokes. Driver was safe and courteous as well. The elephants were beyond amazing- up close and great time feeding and bathing. The rest of the trip was very good as well but nothing compared to the elephants. Trip of a lifetimeWritten January 13, 2025
- P8334BEchristineg0 contributionsSaen Dee tour guideWe had a great tour guide named Saen Dee! He was very funny and knowledgeable, especially with the elephants! He kept the tour moving and was very well organized. During the hike, we had an extra tour guide who kept everyone safe, she even quickly pointed out a very small green snake that was almost invisible to the naked eye. 100% recommend!Written January 7, 2025

- Road6823360 contributionsAmazing Experience! Perfect Blend of Nature, Adventure, and WildlifeOur tour guide Wan is awesome. It was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. This tour perfectly combines natural beauty, cultural exploration, and adventure. This tour is a must-do for anyone visiting Chiang Mai. I’d highly recommend it to couples, families, and solo travelers alike. It’s worth every penny, and I’d gladly do it again!Written January 6, 2025
- selintang0 contributionsUnforgettable ride during typhoon period!Overall experience was acceptable. Food : Simple breakfast, lunch (tad sweet, mainly to cater the Europeans because they can’t eat too spicy food) Sea experience : Islands are beautiful. Advice is not to go during monsoon as the tide is high, you can’t do snorkelling. Can’t see the clear waters. Ship ride was an unforgettable experience. The sea was extremely choppy with gutsy winds and the ride back to samui took about 2hrs 30mins instead of an hour. Grateful to have a very experience captain who knows how to control the ship to prevent it capsizing. Stressor was evident with people telling the staff to go back to the island to wait for the sea to be less choppy, people started to have extreme seasick and the fear escalated with young children crying and parents were trying to coax and calm them. Overall suggest to go when it is not typhoon period for better experience!Written January 5, 2025

- 277zacr0 contributionsFull day - could be shortenedOnly 1 knowledgeable guide for a large group left half of us often wondering what was going on or where to be. Elephants were cool. Nature hike was a highlight but the Doi summit and pagodas were just busy time that could have been cut out. Total trip took 13 hrs from pickup to drop off 7am to almost 8pm. Expect to spend about 5 of those hours in a nice van moving between locations as they are not close to Chiang Mai. It was good though and they packed a lot in for those that want a single day to do everything, but it’s a busy day moving around. I’d recommend only with the above qualifiers.Written January 2, 2025

I really didn’t care to see the pagodas but they are cool for a few min to checkout. TukTuk was my tour guide and she is really fun and enjoyable to be around! - RRethelford0 contributionsEpic AdventureFeeding elephants, hiking past 4 waterfalls, a strawberry farm, rice fields, ending at a small village/coffee plantation. We then drove to the twin pagodas and the highest point in Thailand. To say this was an epic adventure would be an understatement. Our guide, Tukta, was gracious, knowledgeable, and so helpful and charming! The entire family enjoyed the adventure!!Written December 30, 2024
- D4729QAterrib0 contributionsAMAZING EXPERIENCE - Not to be missed! My husband, being an avid "peakbagger", was most interested in visiting Thailand's highpoint at Doi Inthanon. We booked this "all day" adventure to cover that and so much more! The van (which held about a 12 passengers and had A/C ) picked us up at our AirBnb (a/k/a Egg Colony) in Chiang Mai promptly at 7:30am. The first stop was to fuel up, where we got fresh yummy croissants sandwiches for breakfast, extra snacks and water, all of which came in handy throughout the long day! Our guide, Tukta (which means "doll" - and she was!), spoke great English and was a solid source of information and advice along the way. Our first stop was the elephant sanctuary. What can I say?? Feeding, bathing and mingling with the 5 elephants, each with their own personality, was a once in a lifetime unforgettable experience!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! The pad thai lunch was THE BEST I have ever eaten!! And the fresh watermelon and pineapple for dessert a welcome refreshment on a hot day (~85-88F degrees). Next stop was the highpoint - Doi Inthanon. It was very unexpectedly crowded - Who knew it was such a popular spot for Thai people and tourists?! Tukta did. She did a good job of shepherding our group through the masses. She also advised we bundle up as the temp did go from high 80's to high 50's atop Doi Inthanon. Next stop was the twin temples of the former King and Queen. These both had very interesting histories of the Buddha inside along with the amazing artistry. After that, we drove to the trailhead of nature hike, where we met our guide from the village, La, who accompanied us to her village of the Karen White Neck peoples. The hike was easy - mostly downhill I can see where it would be VERY splippery in wetter seasons, but it was dry for us. We passed by several waterfalls and trpoical landscape. Along the way, La pointed out a green "bamboo snake" in the trees and a gigantic black spider (about 7" long) in its web. The jungle was also home to wild gibbon monkeys, but we did not see any as Tukta explained they are very shy. We ended the day at Village where we were served samples of tea and coffee, also available for purchase, among other things, at their gift shop. In total, it was a well-worthwhile adventure and fun to meet other fellow travelers in our group from aroound the world: Norway, Finland, Spain, France and us from the USA!Written December 30, 2024

Parts of this day were very average, though the trek was quite good. The hour and a half drive to Doi Inthanon is quite a long time to spend in a cramped little mini van. Our tour guide, Maxi, was a nice bloke and chatty - can’t fault him, he did well for engaging the group. When we got to Doi Inthanon, it was absolutely pouring with rain, which you have to walk through to get to a place that sells ponchos - that’s partly our fault, we should have thought to bring a rain jacket. You can’t see anything from the “roof of Thailand” because it’s so foggy. We then went to the twin pagodas, which we also could not see because it was 99% humidity and you could barely see a few metres in front of you. The hike was by far the nicest part of the day - the weather cleared up, and we went for an easy, mostly downhill walk past waterfalls and rice paddies to a local Karen village, where they roast their own coffee beans. All up, not a bad day at all but certainly wish there had been clearer expectations about not actually being able to see half the sights listed due to the poor visibility, which the guide said was very common for wet season. I don’t think I would have paid $120 for a nice hike by itself, but I’m sure this is a great experience during dry season.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your experience with us. We sincerely apologize for the parts of the day that fell short of your expectations. We're glad to hear that the trek itself was quite good and that Maxi, your tour guide, did a commendable job in engaging the group. We appreciate your kind words about the tour guide.
Additionally, we're sorry to hear that the weather conditions, including rain and fog, significantly impacted your visibility. However, flowers, and the trekking route are more beautiful during the rainy season. Anyway, we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
We appreciate your understanding that poor visibility due to weather conditions is common during the wet season. However, we acknowledge that clearer expectations should have been provided regarding the limited visibility of certain sights. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will take it into account to improve our communication with future travelers.
We're pleased to know that the hike was the nicest part of the day for you, especially once the weather cleared up. The picturesque walk past waterfalls, rice paddies, and the visit to the local Karen village sound delightful. We're glad you enjoyed these aspects of the tour.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the weather. Your feedback will help us enhance the overall experience we offer. We hope that, in the future, you will consider joining us again during the dry season when the tour is known to provide a great experience.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we appreciate your understanding.

Van arrived on time to pick us up at our hotel in old Chiang Mai. Our tour guide Apple was very friendly and informative. The waterfalls and the hike were quite nice and not too too crowded. The meal was actually very good compared to other day trips we've been on, and the rest stop area had a bunch of cute dog families. Once you arrive at the pagodas, they let you off on your own. I enjoyed the freedom, but it would've been nice to have just a little bit more background and history of the temples. There were lots of cool mosaics on the side of the pagodas that I would've liked to know a bit more about.

We had a wonderful time on this trip and everything was perfectly organized.
They picked us up at your place in Chiang Mai and drove us to the waterfalls and then to the highest peak in Doi Inthanon.
After that, we had a 2-hour trek on a stunning nature trail, amazing! We went to see the giant king and queen pagodas and then for Thai lunch: a lot of food and delicious too!
Finally a quick stop at the local market and at a Karen village where we had coffee and tea tasting, and you could buy gifts too.
The guide was very knowledgeable, explained lots of interesting things and spoke good English.
The only thing is that the van was a bit tight and not super comfortable, but other than that everything was really amazing!
I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to escape the city and be in touch with nature in this beautiful natural park!

Click to Go seems to be a tour aggregator as we were pick up by Wendy Tours. Early pickup at 7.30am with 1 rest stop midway. Tour guide was friendly and I think itinerary is quite comprehensive with sightseeing of key spots and a great hike on the Kew Mae Pan Haven Trail. Cons were average food quality for lunch & we had a long wait at the supposedly local village visit cos had to wait for 2 persons who departed midway to do trekking at another trail. Overall still a recommended tour.

I booked this trip after hesitating between two other options and no regrets. The itinerary is jam packed with the best use of your time. If you have done similar day trips in other parts of the world this will be the best one.
There is guide and separate driver. Guide gives you some basic and background information, which was a nice addition. There are some spots where I wish we had more time but this is simply a compromise if we plan to visit all the spots.
Hike is not hard, but there are some climbs, all paved/stairs, ample breaks. Sport shoes are recommended, sandals would be too dangerous.
Lunch good and ready when we arrived.
Additional stops not mentioned in the itinerary: pit stop after collecting all the participants for toilet and coffee; local market before Karen Village.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the driver and tour guide. Not only were they polite and courteous, but they arrived on time which made me feel reassured that the entire trip was going smoothly. The tour guide's detailed and interesting explanations gave me a deeper understanding of the history and culture of each attraction.
The itinerary was arranged very considerately and thoughtfully, and the time for each attraction was controlled very accurately. This arrangement made me feel that I had enough time without being rushed, and could fully appreciate the beautiful scenery and unique features of each scenic spot. In Chiang Mai National Park, my favorite part is the hiking part, because compared to other attractions, it allows me to get closer to nature and have a better understanding of the magic of nature.
The scenery along the national park is truly stunning. Whether it is the quiet mountain forest or the diverse vegetation, every step makes me immersed in the embrace of nature and feel its charm and power.

All in all it was disappointing on two fronts - (a) the guide and (b) the trek. In fairness the guide set out the itinerary in detail so we knew what to expect. Only problem was that his English was very limited, with narration dotted with long pauses and the group helping him out with words he struggled with. Ruined the experience entirely because the guide is supposed to make the whole experience memorable. We were picked up from the hotel in a dilapidated van. There then followed an hours drive to a services station to stock up on refreshments. First stop were the Wachirithan waterfalls which were impressive. Brings me to my second point. We opted for the 2 hour Kew Mae hike. Unfortunately a there was extensive cloud cover throughout the day which denied us the panoramic views. As this was meant to be the highlight of the day the group were hugely disappointed. It’s wishful thinking on my part but is it too much to expect the tour operator to contact group members in advance to warn them of inclement weather and the opportunity to rebook? Perhaps it is but it wrecked the experience. Now weather is beyond the control of the operator but quality of guide and van are and both were a let down.

Our guide was exquisite. He knew so much and surprised us all with funny details. He explained us everything during the trip we needed to know about history, current events, traditions and the locations we visited.
The trip takes you on a complete and fast ride to all the places mentioned. The trekking had beautiful views and was overal the best experience of this trip. However… the time schedule is so tight that there is not a lot of time to catch your breath or enjoy fully all the beautiful surroundings. I understand that we as tourists are shuffled around to provide to us everything there is to be experienced, but I would appreciate it more if it was all a bit slower. A bit less planned to the the second because it is an intense day and experience which I would love to be more at ease and enjoyable. Also prepare for a fast and crazy Thai driving style-speedy ride. For me personally; it was a bit scary at some moments how the driver drove us back during an unexpected but heavy thunderstorm. But we were all returned to our hotels so that made up for the moments of slight fear ;)
Lunch was good and there was more than enough. Our group was versatile in age and overall amazing so prepare for a wild and fulfilling day with complete guidance (if you have the guide I had of course) and if you’re lucky; amazing weather and gorgeous views.

This is the start of the busy tourist season and we have heard from several people that the area is extremely short on English-speaking tour guides; our guide Choo did an amazing job handling two buses of tourists, and made sure that the pace of our hike was doable for everyone in the group. He kept track of all of us amidst the chaos while also taking photos, which again with our big numbers was really impressive!
Heads up: a fairly big part of this tour is based around the scenic view as you walk through the national park -- be aware that there's like a 50/50 chance that your view will be obscured because of fog, especially if you go in the morning. We knew this, so we weren't surprised! It's not the fault of the tour, just the fault of Mother Nature. :)
The second half of the tour was a little less interesting to us, because it involved less nature and more... places to spend additional money (especially the fruit market); however, plenty of people in our group enjoyed it, and if you only had a short time in Chiang Mai it would be an opportunity to try some local foods.
Overall, a solid tour through an extremely popular, heavily-traveled tourist spot.

We had a great day out at the national park and learned so much about Thailand as we went. We were picked up from our hotel at 7 and driven to the waterfall with a short break to buy breakfast on the way. Our tour guide was very funny and informative and he even taught us some Thai phrases on the drive there. All of the activities were allotted a substantial amount of time to wander around at a relaxed pace without anything dragging, and there was plenty of time for photos.
The trek was beautiful but there are a lot of steps, the guide offers an opportunity to turn around at the half way point for an easier return but you are free to take the trail at your own pace. We aren’t hiker types but we found the trail very manageable.
The park itself is stunning and each stop showed us a different side to Thailand and it’s history. The hill tribe are very welcoming to tourists so we didn’t feel like we were imposing and the coffee was delicious!
We loved this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Doi Inthanon.

What time and where is the pick up.Please note that I have checked several other websites for similar tours and all, every one of made it very clear where the starting point was and the time of the pickup. I suggest if you want to be successful at your business that you include that information and place the information where it is readily available. The map of the two pickup points does no good at all. There are two dots on the map but not address or sign of where the pickup points are. I will give you my business if I can the answers soon., But I am not willing to wait much longer.
