A great way to get a decent experience of Hà Long Bay, and definitely worth the 3 days over the 2! 3 days means you get a little longer to relax and experience, and as the tour starts and finishes around midday, the 1 day tour wouldn't be enough for me. There's a decent variety of excursions, including a few caves, a viewpoint, some swimming, a pearl farm visit and kayakaing. The caves were great (if the first was a bit crowded), the viewpoint brilliant (be prepared to get sweaty getting up there though!), the swimming wonderfully refreshing, the pearl farm interesting & educational and the kayaking great fun (especially seeing the monkey troupe!). The food was extremely plentiful and of great variety, including catering very well for my vegetarian partner. The crew were also fantastic, always with a big smile and very polite, and the main hosts spoke great English too. We really enjoyed Tai chi in the morning on the last day, but wish we had planned to try the jacuzzi as it looked great too! The only thing I would improve is to maybe have a little more time at some of the excursions, especially if you're just going back to the boat after, and that they should encourage the guests not to feed the monkeys. Food conditioning wild animals is never a good thing! We had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking of going. It really is a wonderful place, and a very memorable trip.

Had a great time - fun activities, lots of things to do ( you can opt out of them like we did and relaxed on the cruise ) Would avoid swimming in the ocean as the water is not clean and was smelling The cruise is beautiful, we were upgraded to the presidential suite which had a private jacuzzi , a round bed and a panoramic view. The staff is super friendly esp the manager who had attention to detail , along with Tom and Song who served us with utmost sincerity. We were very very impressed by the punctuality of the whole team, starting from the pick up point in Hanoi to the drop off. We didn’t have to wait a second long, everything was orchestrated to perfection. The food was nice but can get better if they were more options of local Vietnamese food.

Great day out and easy way to experience Halong Bay from Hanoi. The coach was easy to meet, was comfortable and made rest stops for the longish drive there and back. Sunny our guide was very friendly and informative, and really helped keep us organised as we went from activity to activity. Then of course there is the bay itself which is stunning and must not be missed. I recommend you make the trip on your stay and things good company to do it with.

Sunny was excellent. We joined the tour at Halong Bay rather than Hanoi. The tour was a great way to see parts of Halong Bay and we loved Kayaking. The crew were all friendly and the service on board the boat was amazing.
