- Adel B0 contributionsMy trip in GizaI thank my friends for this enjoyable trip. I was able to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, and my friend Sherif helped me find out information about them and explained to me their origins and their importance to the ancient Egyptians. He took me to Memphis, the first and most ancient capital in Egypt, and we wanted to eat falafel. It was an additional service, and the Egyptian food is really amazingWritten January 7, 2025
- kerasopinion0 contributionsGreat tour guide on the Nile!I was part of a small group tour and we did a Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Khaled was our tour guide and he was excellent! If you are able to catch this man as a tour guide, you are in luck. He is very passionate and knowledgable about ancient Egypt. This man holds two masters degrees associated with ancient Egypt and loves to share what he knows with curious folks. The cruise was lovely. The food on the boat was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Nile Cruise and tour guide to anyone looking to see the Nile, enjoy themselves and learn about ancient Egypt.Written November 25, 2024

He worked hard to take care of our every need, give us special treatment and take us beyond the usual boundaries of the places we visited. He has a sense of humour too.Written September 27, 2024
- Roam6436240 contributionsAmazing tour of Luxor with Viator.Amazing trip. Took overnight sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor. Train got in early so Hani Yassin, our tour guide who was waiting at the platform suggested we try and get to the hot air balloons. This was amazing as we just got there in time to get the sunrise balloon - a dram for my wife we thought we would miss! Then great time with useful information and also very flexible with our needs. Even going vegan food for us (and did this on the house!) driver Imad was very professional throughout. We finished off at Luxor and even saw it lit up on way to return sleeper train back to Cairo. Both my wife and I would highly recommend this team and also have them arrange your travels as they are the real deal!Written September 26, 2024

The guide and the were good. The tour was really amazing. So much history and great things to see.
The train was quite comfortable but it got freezing. Thirts and shorts are not recommended.
We had a stop at a shop and we stayed there for ages, just because some people in my group wanted to look around and do some shopping. I think the guide should have told them to hurry.
We didn't have time to stop/visit Luxor Temple or Colossi of Memnon just because of the shopping. If we had visited we would had less time in Karnak.
One another thing is I had to wait quite a while upon arrival at train station in Luxor due to we had to wait for some that would arrive with the bus. And on the return I had to wait for approx 2 hours at the train station in Luxor. A guy I met and talked to had to wait more than I had to, in the morning and on return he had to wait 3 hours.

I had a fantastic tour. The distance from one place to another can take quite a bit of time and the guys did a great job of me moving around from place to place with a pickup and drop-off at the train station.
I did feel the price was a bit a high at $99 but the price seems to be somewhat variable based on season etc.. If a meal such as lunch or one to two admission fees was included the price might feel better.
Overall, the tour was quite good.

Hany Yassen was an awesome tour guide. He made this adventure through luxor so much fun and I'm so happy that I was able to go enjoy this trip. From getting me at the hotel to the station to picking me up in Luxor, I was able to relax and enjoy. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to see the sites of Luxor!

The tour was good. We were able to move from one place to another very quickly. You can expect to see most of the major sightseeing spots in Luxor.
However, the tour includes visit to souvenir shops, even if you tell them you are not interested. Though this is usually the case in Egypt, dealing with aggressive sales guys was annoying.
Lastly, the train was too cold if you wear only half pants and a T shirt (in late June). So be careful about what you wear.

Dear Valued Guest
Thank you for taking the time to review our tours ..
We are really happy that you enjoyed your trip and it was nice and good as described in your review
We would like to clear that your tour was PRIVATE and you are the one who decide to leave or stay in every sightseeing , there is no need to expect what to see as the itinerary specify all the included sightseeing clearly and your tour had plenty of time in each location and all of places in the itinerary have been done without missing anything
** There is no souvenir shops , it was only one optional stop between the west and east bank tours and the guide offered you if you want to see the alabaster factory and what they have as all guides in all tours around Egypt OFFER and it was your decision to go and you got your FREE welcome drink and listened to the explanation and you could use the bathroom there as well because there is bathroom in the west bank desert here , there was no obligation from the beginning to the end , you left when you decided to
** For the train , you are right sometimes in the train they leave the air-con on so it gets cold , good tip for our future guests specially we can't help it for the air-con of the train
We really appreciate every word you have written and we will do our best to make our service meet our guests' desires

We can highly recommend this activity, as the most inexpensive way to visit Luxor, if you reside in Cairo. The train is generally comfortable, except for the fact that it is very cold due to hardcore air-conditioning and the toilets are ultra-dirty! Our tour guide, named Hany Yassen was fluent in English and very friendly, making our visit in Luxor very pleasant...

I booked my dad and I for this while it was like 3AM in Jerusalem and I couldn't have made a better choice. Peter greeted me through WhatsApp and accommodated everything that I needed. He set up transportation from the airport to the hotel and it made me feel very safe. Then Sam, who was a very good person picked us up from the airport and took us through the city and answered all our questions. He talked us into going into a Papyrus art work shop that had beautiful art work. He took us to the train station and walked us to our coach and we where on our way to Luxor. After a 9 hour we made it to Luxor at like 8PM. Hany then greeted us and we began the tour with a rad Lancer. We went through attractions at a good pace and my dad and I took the coolest pictures of the Ancient Egyptian's history. It was like a private tour, all we had to do was buy the entry tickets. I brought my student card with me and I was able to get all my entry tickets half off and they are not expensive. Hany was a great tour guide and was just very knowledgeable of Egyptian history and things pertinent to history in general. It was satisfying how he engaged with the history of Egypt and my questions, He drop us off at a restaurant in front of the train station and ate. Sam then greeted us again at 3 AM and he even offered to take us back to the hotel for a very fair rate. I want to say thank you to Peter, Sam, and Hany for helping my first trip to Egypt with my father the best trip I have ever had.

I have a couple questions about times. What time do you pick us up from our hotel? What time does the train leave Cairo, in case I wasn’t able to get to hotel in time for pick up? What time would the train arrive back in Cairo on the third day? Finally what is the cost for ride from train station back to hotel? Thanks
