You'll start the day with Lion Grove Garden. This Lion Grove garden was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in the year 2000. It is one of 9 Classical Gardens of Suzhou on the UNESCO list. It has the reputation of being the funnest garden in Suzhou because there is a complex maze people get lost in. UNESCO considered the 9 gardens in Suzhou to be masterpieces of Classical Chinese-style gardens. The total garden covers an area of about of about 10,000 square meters or two and a half acres. The large multi-story rock maze rises to 7 meters or about 23 feet and has numerous openings and routes. People like to watch others try to find their way out. This garden is the most fun of all of the gardens on the World Heritage list, though it is one of the smaller gardens on the list. It has an artificial labyrinth with many levels, caves and peaks. It has many stairs, and some of them were hard to find.

The Suzhou No. 1 Silk Mill has been a proud steward of this heritage for over 80 years. It's more like a museum which shows you how the silk is made from cocoons from the beginning and the whole silk process. Not to be missed.

Finally you will visit the most important shooting spots, Zhouzhuang Water Town, it is one of the most famous water townships in China, situated in Kunshan City which is only 30 kilometers (18 miles) southeast of Suzhou. It is noted for its profound cultural background, the well preserved ancient residential houses, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs. Zhouzhuang, the most popular, developed, and commercialized water town in China, is a popular tourist spot for Shanghai and Suzhou visitors. The town is built amid canals, ponds, and lakes. What makes it special are the old buildings and bridges, boat rides, crafts, and the quaint water town scenery.
The canals that crisscross Zhouzhuang have many stone bridges, and some of them are ancient. About fourteen of these were built in the imperial era about 150 years ago or more. Representatives of these are the Twin Bridges, Fu'an Bridge, Zhenfeng Bridge and Fuhong Bridge. Most of the residences of Zhouzhuang Water Town are built next to waterways or lakes. With almost a thousand year's of history, the townspeople people have kept their unique lifestyle as well as exquisite craftsmanship. While shopping in Zhouzhuang, you will find momentos with special meaning.
