Your private experience begins at 9am, when you’ll greet your guide outside of your Beijing accommodation and board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for the Red Gate Gallery, China’s first private contemporary art gallery.
Located inside the Dongbianmen Watchtower, the gallery represents 20 emerging artists who specialize in a variety of mediums. Admire paintings, sculptures, photography, and installations that reflect China’s ever-evolving art scene.
Your tour continues at the 798 Art Zone in the Dashanzi Art District. Housed in a decommissioned military factory building, the center comprises artists’ studios, small galleries, design companies, and fashionable restaurants and bars.
After enjoying a Chinese lunch, you’ll proceed to your final stop, the Guanfu Museum. In China’s first non-profit private museum, you’ll find more traditional mediums such as oil paintings, ceramics, and examples of jade lacquer.
Conclude your tour with drop-off at your Beijing accommodation at around 5pm.
