    What to Expect
    Your guide will meet you in your hotel lobby at the time you advised as your preferred pickup time upon booking. Then take local transportation ( At your own cost ) or walk to Tiananmen Square and then continue your tour to the Forbidden city. Your guide will provide a great overview of the history and interesting stories of each attraction.

    Afterwards, explore and enjoy the Forbidden city, followed by a visit to Jinshan Park, where you can overlook the entire Imperial City as well as the old Beijing neighborhood area. 

    When your tour is finished, your guide will assist you in arranging a taxi back to your hotel. (by taxi at your own cost).

    Our tour guide Helen did a very good job of explaining the history. Because you can no longer go inside the buildings (as I did in 1981) there isn't a lot to see, so I don't think it would be very interesting without a guide....More
