What to Expect
After meeting your guide in the center of Puerto Varas, ride a bus to picturesque Petrohue, on Llanquinhue Lake, to enjoy views of snow-covered volcanoes, including the perfect cone of Osorno. Upon arrival at Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, hike to the Petrohue Waterfalls. Then, board a ferry for a cruise on Todos los Santos Lake, admiring views of the Andean foothills. Disembark at Peulla on the Argentinian border, and enjoy lunch at your own expense. Then, cross the border, taking in amazing views of the Andes, and snake your way down the mountains to Puerto Frías. You’ll sail across the deep turquoise-colored Felix Frias Lake to Puerto Alegre, where you board a bus to Puerto Blest. Later, cruise from Puerto Blest across Nahuel Huapi lake, then ride a bus to Bariloche. If you've opted for the round trip back to Chile, see Itinerary below for details.

  • Note: During winter the Petrohué Waterfalls viewpoint closes at 6pm. Passengers taking the round trip option and traveling from Bariloche to Puerto Varas will not stop there. Instead, they will stop at a panoramic window to take pictures
