Santiago Bicycle Tour via Small Group: Parks, Markets and More
US$74.00
Overview
Biking Santiago is a fun way to explore the city’s enclaves and get a lay of the land, but can be intimidating to tackle independently. This Santiago bike tour takes you down tried-and-tested paths to reach Santiago highlights, including the Government Palace, the Bellavista neighborhood, and the markets of Patronato while filling you in on the city’s history. A small-group tour of seven or fewer means more time for questions.
What to Expect
Begin your Santiago bike tour when you meet your guide and small group downtown. After getting set up with a bike and helmet, follow your guide to some of the city’s top sights.

Pass through the art-filled Bellavista neighborhood and the markets of Patronato, stopping for a juice or a snack midway. Take a 1.5-hour break to enjoy lunch (own expense) at your choice of restaurant or ask your guide for a recommendation.

Then, rejoin your group for a ride through three Santiago parks, down to the Government Palace, and along a designated bike path.

Throughout the tour, your guide tells you about Santiago’s rich history and culture, and you’re free to ask questions, too.

Your Santiago bike tour concludes at your original departure point.

Great morning trip

I often do city bike tours when I’m visiting a new city. I would recommend this as a great way to see the city. We stopped frequently, so the biking was not hard. The weather was beautiful. Rod was a great guide.More

Memorable tour of the City

This has to be the best way to see the Santiago, we had Patrick and Stefano showing the 6 of us around. We got into town after late flights and connectors and went on the tour without any sleep from the night before. Patrick and...More

Hi John_Cloverdale, Wow! You guys sure are troopers--I don´t know if I would have had the energy to do anything after a flight like that. It´s fantastic to hear, however, that Stefano and Patrick were able to make you forget that misery, in addition to...More

Bicycling right in traffic - very heavy on Santiago history

We are 56 and 60 years old and ride rails to trails all the time. The bicycling right in Santiago traffic was not the safest, but the tour guides put themselves right in traffic as a buffer for your safety. Unless you are confident on...More

Hi fxnfly, I'm so glad to hear that you thought the guides were so profession and knowledgeable. It sounds that besides the traffic, everything really was fantastic with the tour--and for that I am very happy. I am truly sorry, however, that you guys felt...More

They have morning and afternoon tours and maybe evening tours They last a couple of hours. You can do more than one tour on a day. I felt one was enough.
