This was such a fun activity! The staff were so nice, professional, safe & friendly. I would highly recommend this to anyone in Arequipa.

This was such a highlight of my trip. I’ve been to Peru multiple times, and this was such a standout experience. It was so much fun and it was exhilarating. I’ve never gone whitewater rafting before and I was able to get the hang of it with José as our instructor. He was super clear and helpful, and they also offer photos while you are rafting (taken by someone up above the riverbanks), which is a plus. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend this experience, especially with José. Also, in case you only speak English, he can guide you in English as well.

Excellent experience down the Chili River. My family and I had never done rafting and it was an excellent experience. The guides were well prepared and really made it fun. Very good value.

Had such a good time rafting down the river chili - not to be missed in Arequipa. Ollantay and the guys made it such good fun; really relaxed and "fiesta" high fives after each set of rapids. My girlfriend and I both fell in at one point, but can not commend their professionalism more saving us! Would highly recommend the experience and Kanuwa rafting.

We did the tour on the Rio Chilli- they equipped us with a wetsuit and helmets. The tour guide was very funny and managed to maneuver us through the rapids. We very much enjoyed the time and hospitality.

We did the 8 AM ride trough the Rio Chili. We got a pick up from our hostel on time. A couple of minutes away from the centrum they have their storage for all the stuff you need for the rafting tour. You get your equipment there. Then we drove to the entrance point of the river. It was my first time rafting and it was great. We felt 100% safe and it was so much fun and also the guide spreaded excitment. Moreover there were stunning views that we really enjoyed. I would totally recommend this agency. 5/5 would do it again!

We had a very good adventure on the river. I had not been rafting before, but we were given succinct instructions in English. They provided wet suits and helmets, which were definitely necessary. I trusted them and felt safe in the turbulent waters. There was a guide to each raft who provided instructions on what to do and there was another safety person on a kayak who followed us. Very exciting, a lot of fun.

A very fun trip. These guys are a great group. Thorough instructions and supplied all the necessary equipment. Very personable and fun, but serious and professional when needed. Explained each leg of the trip concisely and clearly. Highly recommend.

These guys know what they are doing. Had a very fun, exciting, and safe rafting trip. Pick-up at hotel was on time. We drove up to a place where we could change clothes and meet our friendly instructors. Really cool guys. Also it's nice to have a safety kayak around when rafting. Special mention for Cindy, the owner's dog who accompanied the photographer and thus kept showing up cheerfully at the side of the river.

A fantastic half day trip with a group of guides who know how to make life fun. A must do if you are in Arequipa!!!

These aren’t the most intense rapids you’ll encounter, but still I had a blast. It’s worth noting that you’ll pay like $20 less if you book in person instead of online. My group was all Peruvians and one guy from Quebec visiting friends in Peru. So, instruction was in Spanish. Fine by me, I needed to practice. Thankfully, our guide made sure I understood everything in the safety briefing (very important) with Spanglish and fantastic body language. My group was fantastic and I had no trouble with the Spanish commands. I’ve rafted some intense rapids in the US and Canada, and these were much simpler by comparison. Still, this was a wonderful way to spend about 90 minutes on the water. The backdrop of volcanoes was a particular treat. Overall, it was fun, it was a safe, and it was appropriately priced. If you’re looking for a little adrenaline in Arequipa, I’d highly recommend!
