Overview
Visit Machu Picchu by train on a full-day trip from Cusco that takes the hassle out of exploring the spectacular Inca site. Pre-booking a tour ensures you’ll have a ticket for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where daily visitor numbers are capped, and you’ll explore the sprawling site with a guide. When booking, choose from a variety of train options, from budget-friendly to more modern.
What to Expect
Start the day with early morning pickup from select hotels in Cusco and ride to the train station. Train options, which you can select when booking, include Expedition, The Voyager, Vistadome, and the newest 360 Train. The basic Expedition train is upholstered with traditional indigenous fabrics, while The Voyager features plush chairs with tables at each pair of seats.

Traveling in Vistadome, you’ll have glass on all sides and above your head, great for taking in the full scale of the massive peaks. The newest option, the 360 Train, also has panoramic glass and updated, comfortable seats.

On arrival at Machu Picchu, you'll continue to the ruins on a small bus for a 2-hour guided tour that explores ancient stairways, delicate carvings, and sweeping views. Afterward, enjoy some independent time to snap photos or just relax, finishing the day with the beautiful return trip to Cusco.

It's amazing what the Incas did but it's a shame what now the locals are doing...

This attraction is simply amazing, something out of this world but it is a shame what the actual park administration is doing. Right now the only way to get up there is by taking a bus, where the line is about 1,5 hours to get...More

There is a special price for kids between 8 and 17 years old, kids under 8 do not pay ticket. You have to register their passport when you buy the tickets to certify ages. You can find more information on their web site.
