Machu Picchu Day Tour
US$307.00
Overview

Book your tour of one of Peru's can't-miss attractions—Machu Picchu—ahead of time with this full-day tour from Cusco. Let your tour guide arrange all the details for you, including a train ride to Aguas Calientes and a comprehensive tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu's Lost City. Take things at your own pace with some free time for a trek to Inca Bridge or Sun Gate.

What to Expect

Begin your tour with convenient pickup at your hotel in Cusco, and then transfer to the train station for a scenic train trip to Aguas Calientes. Provided transportation and included train tickets mean you can focus on the scenery instead of directions and navigation.

Disembark in Aguas Calientes, where you begin your guided tour of the Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of the Incas. Listen to your guide's in-depth commentary on the history of the sacred Inca site during visits to the temples of the Condor and the sun, the aqueducts, and houses.

Post-tour, enjoy free time to explore on your own or take a short trek to the Sun Gate or to the Inca Bridge. Return to Cusco the way you came for stress-free drop-off near Plaza de Armas.

Don’t rush this one, one day will not do justice

Obviously a must-see, so the question is not weather to see it but how. Many organised trips will take you from Cusco to Machu Picchu and back again in one day. This makes for an extremely long day. If you are time poor this may...More
