Around 9:00 am (exact time to be confirmed) your guide picks you up at your hotel in downtown Cusco. If you stay elsewhere, please ask us about the possibilities. Subsequently, you travel with the rest of the group to the wonderful Sacred Valley while passing breathtaking landscapes of lush green valleys and mountains.
The first stop is made at Pisac, a small colonial town built on the ruins of an Inca citadel, where you visit its colorful market. Here, you can search for authentic souvenirs, such as ponchos and sweaters, and learn more about the local culture. Next, the group goes to the Ollantaytambo Fortress. This large Inca complex was once an important agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military center. Since these ruins are well-maintained, they offer valuable insights in the history of the Inca people. After lunch (included in the price) you are brought back to your hotel in the center of Cusco.
