Antigonea is an ancient Greek city which was founded in the 3rd century BC by Pyrrhus of Epirus, who named it after one of his wives, Antigone, The ruins of this city offer one the best archaeological sites of the south region. Later we visit the Monastir of Spile,located 2km away from Antigonea. This monastir dates since 1634. The dome inside has inside measures 7.4x6.2m and is located inside a cave.
