- rolandmodestpv0 contributionsDiscovering Albania from insideThe 7-days Good Albania Tour was amazing. Friendly people, local food and UNESCO World Heritage sites. But above all, a very kind and experienced guide/driver (Florian). I would warmly recommend this tour to all those who are interested in getting to know this beautiful country, its people, and their way of life. - dnsgrt0 contributionsExcellent ExperienceI had a fantastic experience on the Albania, Macedonia del Nord e Kosovo: Capitals e UNESCO tour. The itinerary was well-organized, covering stunning capitals and UNESCO sites. I was particularly impressed with Ohrid—it was a highlight of the trip. The city's charm, combined with its rich history and beautiful scenery, made it a memorable stop. Overall, the tour was well-managed, and I thoroughly enjoyed the journey through these fascinating regions. Highly recommended!Written August 14, 2024
- dnsgrt0 contributionsUn'Avventura Indimenticabile a Tirana con Good AlbaniaWe had the opportunity to explore the center of Tirana, including a visit to BunkArt. In the afternoon, we took the cable car up to Mount Dajti. The panoramic view of Tirana from above was breathtaking, and once at the top, we decided to try the adventure park trails. The zip lines were incredibly fun and added an extra touch of excitement to the experience! The Good Albania team was exceptional, always kind and engaging. Their responsiveness over the phone to every last minute request, made everything even more enjoyable.Written August 14, 2024
- Skmyer0 contributionsAwesome tripI absolutely loved Albania and this was a perfect tour for us. Lots of diversity was able to see a lot of the country. Beautiful scenery. Food was fantastic, hotels were awesome our guide, Flori was great. I’m looking Forward to going back! There was a lot more in Albania than I was expecting so glad I went!Written July 26, 2024
- pamelasL3931BL0 contributionsEnchanting tours with Good Albania! We added an extra day to make this a 5 day tour, as unfortunately we couldn't make the 6 day tour, and it was FANTASTIC! Flori was our guide and from the start it was obvious he's been doing this for years and has a job he loves and does very well. We appreciated that he was attentive to our individual interests as he took us to beautiful and impressive sight after sight, made sure we were very well fed, had comfortable and convenient accommodations while allowing for some needed down time in between it all. We even enjoyed the relaxing stops along the road for refreshments with gorgeous views! Hopefully we'll get back one day and be able to book some of the longer "Good Albania" tours as well.Written June 26, 2024
- Gem_and_Rach0 contributionsTirana Communist and Steet Food TourExtremely informative, friendly and interesting guide, very thorough tour but we felt relaxed and free to ask as many questions as we liked. We never felt rushed. It is a great way to include Bunk'art 1 in a tour as it is out of town. It is better than Bunk'art 2 and our guide Ditmir gave us a lot of information we would not have had if we had gone alone. Good food as well! We very much enjoyed ourselves and think the tour is good value to see many of the main sites of Tirana in a thorough and efficient way. This meant we had more time to relax for the remainder of our stay. Thank you Ditmir!Written June 9, 2024

- AlbertaKerrs0 contributionsResponsive CompanyI want to acknowledge this company's responsiveness to a detailed complaint I wrote about our experience with guide Flori: see reviews below from psmickeslen & karen c. My rating of four stars is a comment on Good Albania's response, rather than on the quality of the experience we had on our tour. Although a good driver, patient & reasonably personable, Flori was a very poor and disinterested communicator. He gave us next to no information on what we were doing/seeing each day (despite us asking numerous questions), and had personal hygiene issues that made travelling in the van with him very unpleasant. He also risked our safety and was not truthful with us when we expressed concerns about the very steep terrain he was expecting us seniors to hike; he would not admit he was totally lost and not on the established trail. This tour could have been spectacular with a good guide but was instead disappointing and dangerous, and we learned next to nothing about what we saw unless we used the Internet for information. I was impressed by Good Albania's prompt and effective response to my letter. Eda, who had been excellent working with karen c to put our private tour together, sent a lovely email right away expressing her dismay at our experience. The company also sent us all an apology and advised us of the steps they had taken to remedy the problems we had encountered, including ensuring guides had a first aid kit, indicating they would be using vans with microphones in future and advising that they had parted ways with Flori. A small refund was also provided to acknowledge the things in our planned itinerary that had been missed. This shows me that Good Albania is interested in their customers and open to feedback and continuous improvement; I would book with them again. (The one hesitation I have is that I see a May review mentioning guide Florian. I really hope this is not the same person who guided us!)Written June 5, 2024
- 256renatop0 contributionsGreat and unfortetable trip! We do reccomend. A mixture between culture and nature guided by Florian, a great guide! We booked a private tour that was guided by Florian. Along nine days he showed us the beauty of those three countries. A mixture between nature and culture. Just wonderfull! Good food and very safe trip. Good Albania did a great job but speccialy our guide Florian. Great guide, very nice and kind person, excelent driver. We do reccomend Good Albania. We did not have any problem during the tour. Very well organized! Congratulations! Thanks Florian!!!!Written June 2, 2024
- James F0 contributionsPersonalized, All-Inclusive, Terrific Tirana TourWe had an amazing time with Ditmir as our guide. He was fascinating to listen to, had many personal, family stories to talk about as we walked around Tirana and discussed communism in Albania. He also personalized the tour for us so we were able to take the cable car up the mountain, and visit Bunk’Art. He adjusted the tour pace for things we were more interested in, answered a million questions openly and honestly. We had some traditional food, drinks, and coffee along the way as well. It was great the tour was all-inclusive as well, unlike many tour companies the we never had to pay for anything offered during the day. We also had a driver to get us to the cable car, and thankfully we did since driving in Tirana can be a nightmare. Highly recommend Ditmir and Good Albania.Written May 27, 2024
- Wanderer5877770 contributionsWonderful bespoke couple tourEda was most helpful in organising our bespoke 6 night tour. Our guide, Flori, was very personable, tireless, and extremely knowledgeable about Albanian history, culture and sights. He was always helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely time. The itinerary was excellent and flexible according to our interests. The spectacular vistas and superb lunches of local cuisine, reflecting the local areas we visited, really stood out.Written May 15, 2024
- psmickelsen0 contributionsAdventure like No other!7 friends ages 60-70 years young, looking forward to exploring and discovering Albania and Kosovo. Our guide and driver Flori should have had a microphone system to explain to the group the history and sites while driving. One of the group who sat beside him were expected to shout back to the rest of us what Flori was sharing. Who knew! Part of our itinerary, was a 3 hour hike in Valbone to see the viewpoint and Ramas hut. Instead it turned into a 9 hour trek from hell. Flori got us lost, would not admit to being lost and after having us scrambling on hands and knees, told us he knows a better way down and to keep following him, UP. Eventually he admitted we were lost! He had to call for help and as we were trying to get down from our scramble to a very steep decline ON OUR BUMS, for a good portion of the way down! One in our group was injured making their way down and needed to be taken to hospital for stitches. Luckily we had a nurse in our group, unfortunately there was no first aid kit and a lot of improvisation. Flori had no gps, no first aid kit and worst of all had no idea the trail we were supposed to be on. We never saw the viewpoint or Ramas Hut! Luckily we had 2 men come to our rescue and drive us back to the guesthouse, glad we made it back safely! It was a frightening, exhausting day! The next day, onto Prizren and our van breaks down. Luckily Flori was able to secure another van for us. We were to see 2 activities in Prizren which were on our itinerary. Flori parked the van and told us to meet him back there in an hour after we meandered through the town. The lack of communication from Flori to the group was significant. The good on this trip; everywhere food was delicious, the people kind, helpful and nice! Accommodations great! Not sure if I would recommend a tour with Good Albania. Poorly equipped vehicle and an unprepared guide (no microphone, gps or first aide kit and a vehicle that broke down, part way through our trip, reflects poorly on the company)Written May 14, 2024
- karencE1790GM0 contributionsBoth pros and cons with company but Albania definitely worth visiting! We were a group of 7 ( mid 60’s- 70’s) on a 5 day private tour to Shkodër, Komani Lake ferry, Valbone with a day hike, Prizren Kosovo, Tirana. Pros: prompt correspondence with Good Albania. Varied and interesting itinerary. Excellent accommodations and restaurants. Cons: the drives are fairly boring. The company should ensure the guide/ driver has a microphone and be encouraged to use this driving time to explain the history of Albania to current successes and challenges. We are here to learn about the country, not just see it. As it was, the front passenger had to ask driver questions then shout answers to fellow passengers. Guide sometimes spoke too fast so difficult to understand his answers. Some troubles on the day hike with route, and no first aide kit when needed. Albania is a wonderful country with friendly people, delicious food, amazing scenery, and spring water everywhere!Written May 13, 2024
- Ardita B0 contributionsSpeechlessI’ve been there two times with my family and friends like 2 years ago. I’ve had a great time , because the view is speechless. It was really hot when I went there so walking to the castle was really tiring and exhausting, but it was worth it because the of the view . It’s worth visiting it.Written March 19, 2024
- Viajero2790 contributionsGreat tours with awesome guide FloriDuring the end of December 2023 I took the following tours with Good Albania: 1.) Kruja and Durres 2.) The Pretty Prizren (Kosovo) Good Albania is a very efficient tour operator. When I inquired about the tours, I received an immediate response from Eda, who made it extremely easy to reserve and make payment for the tours. I was fortunate to have Flori as my guide for both tours. He was a wonderful guide. He provided me with a lot of interesting facts about not only about the places visited on the tours, but about Albania in general. All of the information was from a local person's perspective. In addition, he had a good sense of humor and was a very safe driver. I would highly recommend using Good Albania. Hopefully you will be lucky to have Flori as your guide.Written January 20, 2024

We went two people on this tour and Rando, our guide, picked us up at the hotel in time, he was a little early even. He drove around in Tirana and told us about the landmarks and told us about the places we could visit while in Tirana.
On the way to Durres he told us about Albania and anything we wanted to know. In Durres we walked around town and Rando told us the history of the city, the Amphitheatre and the Museum of Archaeology. The tour was very relaxed and we went in our own pace and got time for some street food snacks (byreks) AND lunch at a really good restaurant of his choice. The seafood linguini and tave was a dream.
Later we went to Duka Winery and was met by the sweet Winery guide there, who took very good care of us. We got to try 4 different wines and a raki, with a plate of cheeses and meats. We also had the opportunity to buy wines to bring home with us.
Later we were driven back to our hotel in Tirana and Rando left us with his business card, in case we needed some more help or tips.
If I could give more stars I would, 20/5 stars. We felt very safe and relaxed and our guide was very caring and perceptive. It was the best day on our trip to Albania.

Awesome tour of Duress with a fabulous guide, Edi. Tour was about 5 hours long and started with a walk throughout the city to see the amphitheater, Roman baths ruins, tower, etc. Edi was very informative on everything in Duress, very well versed in the history of the town as well. Went to Abaia Winery for a tour and tasting which included amazing snacks where most was actually grown on the property. Fabulous wines and phenomenal tour of the winery and tasting. This is a great tour to see the city and taste the local wines. Absolutely recommend Edi as well…perfect English and excellent knowledgeable guide. Communication from office staff was great as well through email prior to my arrival. 5-stars for office, tour, and guide!!

Hi there
We will be in Duress in April, is this tour suitable for a family? 2 adults and children age 4, 9 and 13.
Thank you
Written February 4, 2020
Hi Tess,
Apologies for the late reply.
When we have families booking this tour, we extend the time we stay in Durres at the Vollga seaside boulevard where there are plenty of games for children and young adults, and also skip the "hike" towards Rodoni Cape replacing it with some time walking on the beach of Lalzi Bay. This last one because of safety reasons.
For any other question or request, we are at your disposal.
Best,
Dave

We (a couple aged 67 and 69) have booked a tour of Albania from Saga, for the first few days staying at Golem sandy beach hotel. On our third day there we have an optional visit for half a day at Durres (Wed 23rd September). However we much prefer your visit to Durres, Cape of Rodon, and wine tasting. Now we do not expect you at the Golem hotel 13 km away- but we should attempt to get to Durres (possibly by taxi) on the morning of 23rd Sept - where are your offices located and at what time ? we noted from Michelin map that there is a train or tram linking Golem to Durres - but have been unable to get times of transport. Could you help out.

Hi David,
The Durres, Cape of Rodon and Wine Tasting does include the pick up and drop off in the Durres area so there is no need to reach the city of Durres on your own. Our guide will come and pick you up at your hotel in Golem beach.
Our offices are located both in Tirana also.
All the best,
Dejv
