Begin your gourmet adventure with a pick-up by your guide from your accommodation address in Dubrovnik and soak up the beautiful sights during 30 min relaxing drive to a rustic farmhouse in the countryside. Your hearty hosts will greet you with a welcome drink and show you around. After you get instructions and assignments roll up your sleeves and tie on your apron because the time has come for you to create mouthwatering traditional Croatian dishes.
Choose wild spices, pick your ingredients right from the garden, dig your fingers into the bowl of soft flour, lick some olive oil and blend it into a rural ambience. Learn to make some of our authentic meals such as Dalmatian peka (lamb or veal baked under an iron bell), zelena menestra (cabbage and potato stew), ražnjići – (skewers on laurel sticks), šporki makaruli (pasta with meat), grandma's homemade bread, typical dessert and gain fascinating cultural insight into the origin of these typical dishes.
When the cooking is over, sit down and enjoy 4-course epicurean feast. Chat with your classmates from all around the world, share your travel stories and sip glasses of fine red and white wine as you cement your newfound knowledge of local history and gastronomy.
