All-Inclusive Dune Dinner Safari in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
From US$107.63
Low Price Guarantee
Overview
The Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve sits just south of the city and comprises one of the UAE’s most prized dune and wildlife zones. With this tour, you’ll visit this special reserve and enjoy a host of activities. Take a dune drive to look for wildlife and plants, watch a falconry display, and visit a Bedouin-style camp for desert activities, plus dinner and live entertainment under the stars.
What to Expect
Leave your Dubai hotel by climate-controlled 4WD vehicle and pass some of the city’s landmarks en route to the desert.
After a roughly 45-minute journey, arrive at Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a national park dedicated to preserving the desert’s natural beauty and wildlife.
Here, take a leisurely drive around the dunes, watching for wildlife, such as oryx and gazelle, seeing plant species, and learning about the desert’s place in Emirati culture.
Stop for a falconry display (subject to weather) and photos of the sunset, and then relax at a Bedouin-style camp in the sands. Enjoy a selection of activities, such as henna art, sandboarding, and camel riding, and savor a buffet dinner with unlimited beer and wine (except during Ramadan and religious holidays).
Lastly, lounge on carpets as you watch a belly dancing show and observe the night sky before your outing ends with a hotel drop-off.

See another side of Dubai

We loved seeing the heritage of Dubai and if we hadn't taken this excursion, we'd have just seen the shops and resorts which would have been a mistake on our part. You get private transfer to the conversation area, where you get a falconry show,...More

Bad Guide

Our driver was punctual on fetching us, and quite enthusiastic in the beginning, during the dune ride he turned up the volume of the radio and when we arrived at the camp for dinner, he suggested we leave staight after the 2nd belly dance saying...More

I booked this tour through my cruise line (Celebrity Cruises) as I was unable to book independently and arrange a pick-up at Port Rashid cruise terminal. The tour started with the group of people joining their vehicle (Toyota V8 Land Cruisers) and driver outside of...More

Bad Guide, bad experience

Because AA was overbooked, we were assigned a driver whom they outsource. He was very indifferent from the beginning, just played music while driving. We were curious, enthusiastic bunch of adults and children, full of questions which were answered in monosyllabs by our guide. He...More

I think the drive from Dubai was under an hour, the dune driving might have been another 30-40 minutes. Just remember the falconry show and sunset view also takes place before you get the camp, so in all it will be at least... More

You have the option to sit up the front if that helps, I probably wouldn’t as it’s very very hot and you are in the car driving up and over dunes for approx an hour. Whilst it’s not a wild ride by any means you do climb up... More
