Nawaz was a good guide. He was very punctual with the pick up timing and gave me a mini city tour while we were picking up other guests. The dune bashing and sand boarding was fun however, I felt like we didn’t have enough time with the sand boarding just because we were a little off timing as we were waiting for the last guests to get picked up. Due to that, our schedule was a little off track and it seemed like it impacted our guide a little. Otherwise, the camel ride was a little short. You can opt in for a longer camel ride for a little extra cost which takes about 5-10 min. Due to a lot of other tour companies being there, it doesn’t seem like you can get a longer camel ride for more than 5 min. Other than that, I had a great time seeing the red desert and would recommend everyone to go on a desert safari if it’s their first time in Dubai.

My husband and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in Dubai. We chose this tour for the experience and it was everything and more than we expected. Nawaz was our tour guide. He contacted us the night before to confirm our pickup and he was punctual. Nawaz was very friendly and took some awesome pictures for us. The BBQ, shows and camel ride was AWESOME! I would highly recommend this tour for couples, families or groups of friends. You won't be disappointed.

Nawaz was our driver and guide for the afternoon / evening. Couldn't have been more accommodating. Felt safe and fun for all the family bashing through the dunes, riding the camels, sandbording and through the evening of bedouin entertainment and local food. Fantastic evening through and through. Answered any questions we had and very clear on activities available (if there were additional activities at cost) and generally friendly guy to spend the time with. Thanks for a great experience Nawaz.

I really didn’t like our experience. The “guide”
didn’t tell me the plans of the the other group the was in the same car. The other group rented a bugie to drive in the desert in out first stop, so the “guide” said for us when we arrived “or stay here waiting or rent a bugie/quad to go with us”. So, I didn’t have choice and had to pay 250 dirhams to rent a quad ( I wouldn’t stay in the desert in a very hot place walting the other group about 30 minutes). Ok. We drove in the desert and went to the car’s “guide”, so he drived in the desert and stopped to do sandboard and take some pictures of the “Sunset”. The problem was we actually didn’t wait untill the real Sunset (the real Sunset happened when we were going to the desert camp, so we didn’t watched it). Where we arrived, (at night) in the desert camp, to ride the camel and eat the “barbecue” , there was a big line full of rude people trying to jump in front of you to ride the Camel. Our photos were really bad because we arrived in the night in the camp desert, so it was very frustasting too. The staff of the desert camp were also very rude and didn’t care if we were enjoying or not. After the “Camel ride” (1 minute- 10 meters) I tried to take 2 drinks (one for me and one for my girlfriend) but the guy said I couldn’t take two and just gave me one (the funniest was that the guy that jumped in front of me in line took 3 drinks…and was ok). After that, we ate the “barbecue” that was desgusting, watched the show ( the show was nice, mainly the fire show) and came back to the hotel (very dissapointed)

Hotel pickup is not included for all hotels in Dubai - the website does not clearly state this or mention the fee charged for other hotels (we were in Jebel Ali). We only found out the fee on the morning of our tour. We found the staff to be rude and did not want us to proceed with the booking. The operator eventually cancelled our booking, citing that other groups on the day had postponed to a future date and so could not honour the booking.

It is clearly mentioned that pick up is available in centrally located hotels. You are staying in Jebel Ali hotel which is almost on Abu Dhabi side. I have explained this to you via whatsapp and you rudely asnwered me you don't want to pay. I have offered to cancel and refund.
You changed your mind and finally agreed to go but when I asked you for re-confirmation, you just ignored my messages and my calls.
There were cancellations because the entertainment shows were suspended which I even shared with you. If you find it rude for us informing the real time situation and trying to reach you out, then I don't know what kind of services you want.

Honestly, the best tour around Dubai! My tour guide Abbas was above and beyond helpful and informative. He talked lots about Dubai history and the new innovations coming in the future. Abbas was always checking up on us and that truly made us feel even more welcomed. The tour consisted of: sand bike riding, sand boarding, dinner, and camel ride. It was by far the best experience! Your trip to Dubai is not complete if you don’t ride the camel.

Favorite part was the reception by Abbas, our Safari guide. The ride was awesome and the friendliness as well as the knowledge of UAE and Dubai Abbas has was educative to us all as he answered and explained well enough for all four people understood.

It was an amazing experience. I had more fun, from the Quad bike rides to the camel rides, the dune bashing. Sand boarding to name it all. Our safari tour guide Mr Abbas Was exceptional , he made sure we had fun and was handled his duty perfectly.

The safari trip was excellent. Abbas, our guide, always kept us informed of what was happening next and made our trip fun!
We started the day doing ATVs on the dunes, then headed to the dune bash (driven by Abbas), and then ended the evening with the bbq the amazing shows.
There were plenty of opportunities for photos, meeting locals, enjoying culinary delights, and the amazing night shows.
I would definitely do this again.

My friend and I had a wonderful time on the desert safari. Our driver and guide Abbas was excellent - he was very friendly and helpful and great at driving through the dunes. My favourite experience was the dune boarding. We would definitely recommend and would go again.

What time does it start and finish? Also how organised is it ? I’ve been in tours there where you get to the show and there is not organised seating or no sitting left

From memory I think we were picked up at Atlantis about 3 pm? The company was Desert Gate and our driver was terrific. The whole trip was very well organised and professional. Seating was organised for our group at the bedouin village and the food and show were very good. We were given free soft drinks but alcohol had to be purchased, although we had friends go last year and they were given free beer but I don't know which company that was with. We were dropped back to our hotel around 9 pm. Overall we thought the trip well worth it and very enjoyable.

Hi there my family and i are spending a day in Dubai. I am interested in this activity on the 24th for my family of 4, but my flight is on the 24th September at 23:20. Will we be able to be dropped off at the airport on time? Say by about 21:00?
