    Queue Bonanza
Ordered tickets for the "queue" online. Hard to find the entrance inside the mall. Then queue to get up to an overcrowded 124th floor. Cool views but so many people it is hard to enjoy. Also, the arrangement seems to waste good views. Then queue for 1 hour to get down again. Hot, noisy, and exhausted after the whole experience. Would not recommend this tourist trap.

    Great
Great tourist attraction, but expensive and it’s too crowded. You have to wait a very long time before you can actually enter

Very poorly organised and the queing completely ruined the experience.
We pre-booked the At the Top level 125 + 124 visit from the At the Top website. We decided to go for non-prime hours (which is anything outside of 1500-1830) as we thought it would be nice to go up at night and selected 2030 for our time. As others have said the entrance is extremely poorly signposted. We were lucky and having entered the mall via the lengthy walkway from the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro station we happened to come across a lift that went to LG with signs for Burj Khalifa. After getting out of the lift there were further signs directing us through a carpark and back into the mall. The entrance is on the LG floor of Dubai Mall opposite the food court where thankfully we chose to have something to eat and drink before. We then arrived 15 minutes early as advised on the tickets to join quite a long queue. We were initially relieved that it was moving quite fast. However we soon realised that this was just the start of a very very long queue which went of for ages. Every time we thought we must be close we would go round a corner to find more queuing! We were in the queue for well over an hour and were completely fed up and exhausted by the time we got to the lift. Many others were clearly feeling the same with groups of people resorting to sitting down on the floor. Eventually we arrived at the lifts and got up to level 125 and 124. Here it was quite crowded but we did manage to get some good views, including watching the fountains from above which we had previously viewed from the lake cruise (a much better experience). However, not only were we exhausted from all the queueing we then saw the long queue of people waiting to get back down and so rather than spending the time we would have liked to enjoying the views we quickly bought some drinks and joined the queue to go down. Trying to get down was also complete chaos as there was a large crowd of people all trying to get into one line nearer the lift and progress seemed to be very slow. From what I could see there appeared to be 3 lifts which are dedicated to going up and down to and from level 124/125. However, after waiting around 45 minutes in the queue a member of staff started directing people through a door behind the shop to some other lifts, but rather than taking people who had been waiting for ages he decided to take a group who had just joined the back of the queue! This happened several times and eventually people started leaving the queue to join the people being taken via the alternative route as we also eventually did. We were then escorted down using smaller lifts which are clearly usually used for accessing other parts of the building and we actually had to get out part way and change lifts twice on the way down. Overall we spent about 15 minutes at the top and nearly 3 hours queuing/in lifts. I really don't see the point in them booking people into time slots if it is managed like this. I would certainly not wish to repeat the experience.

    Spectacular height and viewpoint
It was worth the 30 minute queue the lift was so fast it made my ears pop! The views are breaktaking and it was a clear sunny day for me. Photos don’t do it justice need to see it with your own eyes! It’s the matchbox cars below that give it perspective.

    Waste of time.
This was worst experience in Dubai. You will wait for hours in the queue and area is very warm and humid. All you will do is go top of the lift, take few photos and go back down inthe lift. Most pointless thing ever.

The best and worst of humanity
It is the tallest building in the world, so to say I have been to the 125th floor is great for…..me…..and my Mum was impressed that I went up because she knows I get scared climbing a chair. The view is also outstanding. I thought about the queue. Yes, it’s long. It winds around bends and you think surely this is it, but queues are everywhere. It’s also not the queue that is frustrating, it’s the people who surround you that make it a drag. Some of the pushiest, rudest, angry people who either bang into your leg or arm because you have walked a second too slow or are breathing down your neck because they think they are a little closer to the front. Everyone has to take a chill pill and calm down. If you think you are mean in lines, or believe your own self importance, or you have zero tolerance for people, don’t go to the Burj Khalifa.

    Overrated views through the haze
So don't believe what the info tells you it is highly misleading. 1. The slot you book is actually a 3 hour window. We arrived for a 4pm slot and was told its 4-7 2. You need to queue to get into the venue to just have your ticket validated then another queue for 45 mins 3. It does not take 1 hour as stated on the tickets it is more like 2.5 hours with the queues Plan around this time not the 1 hour if you have other things planned It's a little underwhelming in reality. Yes you can see some parts of Dubai but the constant dust and haze prevents decent views. Far too many people are allowed in and the lift is seriously squashed. It's a lot of money and honestly it's not worth it if you are working on a budget. Gift shop a total rip off

    Queue lovers please book!
This experience is excellent for people who love to queue. The queue begins in a long snake around the ground floor of the shopping mall. This takes around 2 hours. Then when you think you’ve made progress you join a new queue and keep queuing and queuing. The time slots on the tickets are basically irrelevant. I spoke to people who had slots hours apart and who were all stuck in the queue. Occasionally groups sail past you wearing VIP stickers that enables them to skip the line. This makes the normal queue even longer. After a long dark lift journey the views from the top are great and then you join a long queue to get back down.

The most longest queue in the world
You have to wait in line for ca 2.5 hours to see the view for 5 min. You also have to stand in line to get back down again.

    Burj Khalifa Visit December 2023
Amazing project and engineering of a magnificent building that has so many hotels, offices, and residences located inside. Clearly the stunning views due to this amazing architecture built in such a short time. We went only to the 124th and 125th floors and it was more than spectacular. This excursion can feel crowded depending on time of day, week, and even year but the staff do a great job of keeping everyone moving forward and staying organized.

Stranded 124 stories in the sky… waiting
It was all going well until we were stranded 124 stories in the sky. We stood in a line for over an hour to exit… didn’t move… then were rerouted to a different floor. All while no process or oversight of the queueing process. Disappointed.

    Great experience
Great experience. The queue at the bottom was maybe 20-30mins. It was not as long as some of the reviews I’d read. The views were outstanding

    Okay
Too expensive . Work is amazing even though using cheap labor from very poor countries. Why UEA is big time explotaing human being with less paying and making longer hours working. Phathetic.

There were many different tickets of Burj Khalifa with many different variations. I was overwhelmed and wanted to give this one a shot. This was very basic- although it was mostly aimed for ‘peak time’, all I got is huge crowd 🙄. It was already dark, so there was no chance of seeing further, or any magical sunset hue. After waiting a lot, I got to take the elevator. From 125th floor ( I suppose), saw all Dubai lights. It felt like aircraft landing experience ( except the moving sensation). It was all glass walls - no terrace experience. And then again long line for taking the elevator for coming down! I felt this one as overrated and a bit hoax.
Next, the Dubai mall aquarium - if you have already experienced larger aquariums in the US ( for eg, in Atalanta, or, Dallas) you can easily give this up without any FOMO - you are not kissing out anything. This is the tiniest aquarium I have ever visited. This is also quite overrated - instead, I could have invested the time in exploring the mall. Dubai Mall is much better.

It's really tall, but the wait is long...
The whole process took about 4 hours, but we waited in line for 3 hours and 30 minutes.
It's the best in the world, so I think it was worth it...
