Must visit & ask for guide Mr. Chenda
Oct. 2019
Sorry I didn't get chance to post this review earlier. I did this trip during 2019 Easter Holidays. Although that time is usually very hot in Cambodia - I had a real good trip. It was simply fascinating to witness 10th century architecture. Tour guide, Mr. Chenda, is very knowledgeable, courteous & showed around places with great zeal & enthusiasm. Our group was given sufficient time to explore around the on top, he is took some great photos!
I wanted to go to Phare Circus after the trip & tour guide arranged for ticket as well. Over all very comfortable day trip. Thank you Mr Chenda

I recommend to carry an umbrella or sun hat no matter which season or tour you do. Hope you'll enjoy as much as I did. Ciao!

Full Day Tour Bang Melea & Koh Kher
Jan. 2020 • Solo
The sites are great, but what really makes the trip is the tour guide. We were lucky enough to have "Lucky" as ours. I enjoy guided tours, especially from locals you can Google to your hearts' content but it's not the same investment and engagement you'll get from your guides like Lucky, who can also share their own anecdotes and experience.

It was a full day tour! They provide cold water, an Air Con clean bus, and drop off at the end of the day. There was minimal walking but through some of the ruins might be tricky for those with mobility issues.

Lunch was ok (a third party)- the most expensive meal I paid for while I was in country. And not the best. The chicken was undercooked / raw and I got sick. The food was ok, bland at best and I paid $15 for one plate of chicken and rice..

The roads were bumpy, but this should be expected going out to ancient sites in a giant air conditioned bus to get there! Great tour, great guide, great bus driver!

You do meet at a central location in the morning where they then send everyone to the appropriate buses/vehicles.

Highly recommended tour with humorous tour guide!
Mar. 2020
We have booked the Kohker and Bengmealea tour through KLOOK website and only came to know Siem Reap Shuttle Tours was the tour company.

Tour to Kohker and Bengmealea was good! As the weather in Cambodia is surprisingly hot, would advise tourist to carry umbrella if you are opting for this tour. The trip to Kohker required you to climb stairs up to enjoy the view from the top of Kohker pyramid, is about 350m high. Quite tiring for those who hardly exercise especially under such a hot weather. Hence, good to bring along hat and sunblock to protect yourself from the scorching hot sun!

What made this tour so memorable was our fabulous tour guide, Sothea Yon. He made all the difference, gem of a person! He is very humorous, very cheerful and jokes around during the entire tour! Our tour guide is also a very dedicated photographer, he took lots of photos for us and sent them via WhatsApp within the day! Thumbs up for providing such an excellent service to the group!

Thanks once again, Sothea Yon for making our tour in Cambodia a memorable one. Love from Singapore!

Excellent experience

Even though I was the only booking for this trip, the operator did not cancel me. I got a driver and Sok, the guide, who took it professionaly. Let's make the best out of this, was the idea.
I have really been so spoiled that day. Beautiful sites, lots of explonations that made me understand history better and the idea of tempel building, many pictures, peaceful spots, but nothing would have been so enjoyable without the friendly company of Sok.
At the end of the tour he suggested to make a quick stop at the village of a relative along the road, to have a refreshment. I was delighted and said yes of course. Delighted to see the farm and the kind farmers. Within minutes they provided a late lunch from own grounds, which was the little extra of great value for me personally, the personal touch for the perfect day.
Thank you Sok!

A very interesting and informative tour to some of the more remote temples
Feb. 2020 • Solo
The tour was well-organized (but do note that since January Beng Mealea is included in the Angkor Pass, so make sure you have it), and we had plenty of time at each of the temples. The guide, Mr. Rath Sopheap, was very knowledgeable and kind, making sure that everyone was satisfied and answering any questions, while also giving us much general information about the history and culture of Cambodia. The temples in Koh Ker and Beng Mealea are quite fascinating, and the guide's explanations about the history of each place added a lot (and I do recommend asking questions about issues and objects you find interesting, it's a good opportunity to do so). Overall, I certainly recommend the tour to anyone who has more than a day or two in Siem Reap.
