Your day at Gaiatree Sanctuary features a delicious 3 course vegetarian dining experience. Ingredient-driven Fiji cuisine, harvested with love in the morning and served with a healthy array of house made sauces, dressings, juices, smoothies, teas and herbal infusions. The sanctuary is being developed with permaculture principles, to establish a productive natural ecosystem and to work towards energy self sufficiency. Our hope has always been to create an experience that complements the other amazing activities on the island - a perfect 'dry' day after a week of diving 🙂 Booking in advance is a great tip, especially between May and October. Vinaka Vakalevu Becky! Your kind review means the world to our whole team. Creating a safe organic haven for endangered native plants and traditional medicines has been a top priority for us from the beginning. Taking a tour here will be well worth it if you are lucky enough to visit Taveuni island in Fiji. The tour will show you where and how bananas, coconuts, mangos, papayas, and many other fruits and vegetables are grown on this small beautiful farm overlooking the South Pacific.

Vinaka Rick! Appreciate your feedback very much, it was a pleasure to be part of your journey to Fiji. The entire process of growing organic super-foods is very rewarding (and tasty) and that's one part of the Sanctuary story we love to share with guests. The local team has discovered that food can be art too - adding fresh garnish and edible flowers to "elevate your plate" to photo worthy status - everyone was thrilled that we accomplished this on your tour. We had an amazing visit with you and hope to see you on a return trip one day soon. Loloma from Team Gaiatree 🌿
