- robinfN984FA0 contributionsTrip to the world famous Tanzanite mineThe discovery of the mererani Tanzanite mine was amazing. Hillary and I get on a motorbike to go to block A. We get underground for few meters so we can try to imagine how difficult is the miner's work. We visited some old mining hole and had precious details giving by miners. The mine market was crowded, it was nice to see. A nice tip is expected by miners to open their squares, around 50$ per group. (Tip will be share between all squares you visited) It was an awesome day with Hillary!Written October 23, 2023

- lindseybec0 contributionsHot Springs OasisWe had a great day with Hillary visiting the hot springs. He is professional, knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed spending the day with him. The hot springs are off the beaten path (a bumpy ride for some) but worth the detour. They are an oasis in the middle of nowhere. The water is cool and crystal clear, and we were lucky that it wasn’t very busy while we were there. It was the perfect way to relax after our safari. We hope to come back some day!Written January 24, 2023
- pavelo5840 contributionsWild nature, famous coffee and relaxAmazing tour starts from Materuni village to unbeliveable Materuni waterfall (97m high). Enjoy energy of water! You can meet chameleons, if you have a good local guide, he can find them:) Fantastic atmosphere during coffee prepairing,,,and of course, tasting. After all, you will enjoy relax in hot springs under the trees. Its necessary to discover it, if you will stay in Arusha, or arround.Written March 10, 2022

- 211christineu0 contributionsAmazing ExperienceI met one of the owner of Tanrus (Hillary) in 2015 when I was working in Arusha and have been in touch with him for the last five years as he is one of the friendliest and most reliable people I have ever met. Last year I decided to take my family (four adults and two kids, 2 and 4 years old) on a safari and asked Hillary to organize the trip. I am still I awe what an amazing job he did. It was a five day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngoro Ngoro and this trip was without a doubt the most exciting and wonderful family experience anyone could wish for. It was very well organized from arrival at the airport to departure. Hillary made sure that we were taken care of. He chose hotels that were particularly child-friendly and specially clean. Hillary, and all his employees, were always very responsive. The driver was very friendly and helpful. I was very surprised that not only was he very knowledgeable about the animals or fauna/flora but he also spoke several languages very well. I plan to come back to Tanzania in two years and will certainly book with Tanrus again. Many thanks for this amazing experience!! Greetings from Germany.Written February 7, 2020

- Anaelle000 contributionsMost amazing experienceWhat an amazing safari we had with Charz! I have met Charz when he was à taxi driver in arusha To pay for his guide school. I knew he was someone you can trust, reliable and just so kind. So when I came back To tanzania to travel and learned he has his own company, i had no hesitation. He made a trip just for us: we gave him our budget, things we absolutely wanted to do and things we would like To do if the budget was enough. He offered us several options of trips to fit our budget, some with middle budget accomodation To fit our budget and do everything on the list, some with a mix of middle budget and luxury accommodation but less days for example. At each place we visited, he found a local guide who knew very Well the place we were visiting. It was really Nice To meet different guides, all were really Nice and we had a great time speaking with them. We did notably waterfall hike at kilimanjaro and coffee experience, kondoa, babati, ngorongoro, serengeti, manyara, the rift valley and lake natron.what i think we loved the most what the bike tour in babati, and going To local restaurant in kondoa.I highly recommand a safari with Charz. He really wants To make the best trip for you and make sure you have a great experience. It is really a trip designed for each person. For instance, we loved monkeys. So during safaris we could stay one hour looking at them. We were the one choosing when To go. I made several safaris with big arusha safari companies. But it was definitely my safari with Charz the one i prefered. It was an incredible human experience.Written November 9, 2019
- ladouds0 contributionsImpressive and very friendlyWent for a tour to Materuni waterfalls and coffee production tour and both were over pleasant : Elinami, my guide, was very nice and explained a lot of thing along the hulking to the waterfalls, impressive with its almost 100 m height ! Then got back to a very small village to experience making a good and sweet coffee with very welcoming and pleasant local people. I warmly recommend this tour and this company.Written November 7, 2019

One thing about nature, it will suprise you!!!
Had fun revisiting the largest waterfalls in Arusha, the Napuru Waterfalls with professional tour operator from Inus Wildlife Safaris. Hiking towards the falls, the guide gave a beautiful history of the area while witnessing its awesome scenic views surrounded with wonderful trees, multiple small waterfalls and a running stream of water. The mist blowing on the face upon the arrival on the waterfall is a lifetime experience you wouldn't want to miss.
Planning to have fun with Family and Friends on the falls??? Napuru waterfalls is a place to be and even better with Inus Wildlife Safaris guiding you through the natural and breathtaking slopes of Meru.

We were a group of 31 youths, filled with enthusiasm and curiosity, explored the area, capturing moments through laughter and shared stories. We took time to reflect on the importance of preserving such natural wonders, fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment and sustainable tourism.
