Insightful trip and very informative guide, Ken who survived the Vietnam war and told us his first hand account of his experiences. Our driver Tommy was also excellent. The Marble Mountains were really worth a visit with lots to see, beautiful gardens and Buddhas . We had a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the riverbank which was fresh and delicious before heading to Hoi An . Hoi An is a pretty town with well preserved buildings. There you can see French and Chinese influences and well as a bustling market for bargain hunters. Again, Ken was very knowledgeable. Our day finished with a brief but worthwhile visit to the famous white sands of China Beach . We were very impressed with Ken’s detailed knowledge. Good timekeeping both on pick up and drop off from our cruise ship.

Wonderful day in Danang. We opted for this customized tour rather than a cruise excursion so we could see more sights and Tommy Dao tours was very attentive to our time constraints. Huu Tho was our wonderful English speaking guide and Hoang was the driver of our spacious air conditioned can and provided wayers and wet napkins at every stop. Ba Na Hills was the highlight, Marble Mountain was also a very culturally rich experience and a good workout after an authentic Pho noodle lunch at a local place. Excellent experience. Tho made time to stop at My Khe beach and the dragon Bridge for pictures. Tho knew how to make the most of our time and was very attentive to our needs. It's worrisome taking a non-cruise tour but I highly recommend this private option with Tommy Dao Tours at a better value than shipboard prices.

Spending a day at Ba Na Hills was one of the most interesting and exciting things that we did when we visited Vietnam last year. Although it was an early morning trip, both our driver, Lu and tour guide, Trang, made sure we were comfortable for the drive to Da Nang. We especially enjoyed exploring and listening to Trang talk about the history of Ba Na Hills. Trang speaks english very well, so it was quite easy to understand her. Besides making sure that we had loads of fun, she also made sure that we tried out the different Vietnamese foods, which I really enjoyed. Thank you so much to Lu and Trang for their kindness and being so friendly. And a huge “Thank you” to Tommy Dao for making it all possible. We will definitely use Tommy Dao tours when we visit Vietnam sometime soon!

Henry our tour guide was warm, friendly, funny and excellent navigating the various sights of the day. He met us at the Chan May port early in the morning. Then he and his very capable driver drove us through Chan May to our first stop...a lovely beach area to look at the ocean. Then on to a full day of touring, including a delicious, authentic Vietnamese lunch, where Tommy Dao personally met us. Henry loves his country and it shows in every detail that he shares about its history and culture. Henry knew that we wanted to be return to the ship by a specific time and did so with ease, He is a hardworking young man who loves his country and wants to share his love to all who visit. We loved our shore excursion from Chan May port. Ho was a very enthusiastic, energetic guide. We enjoyed her knowledge of the area and how well she knew each spot. She took lots of photos for us and was very accommodating and helpful.

We had a very lovely trip with Tommy's, the 4days ride was overall pleasant. We had a great evening in Hoi An first night, had our first experience with basket boat ride. The historical visit to My Son was also perfect with the cool weather. Everyone had a great time spent in Bana Hills, especially for the kids... they love the cable car rides and fantasy park funs! We were 4 people travelling in Vietnam and did two tours with Tommy Dao Tours -Hue City Tour Very nice guide and transportation van, took us through the major sights and explained us the history of those! -Hue to Danang with stops at Lady Buddha and Hai Van Pass Tommy was always responsive via watsapp and helped us with everything thing we needed, even came to our hotel to personally meet us! Definitely recommend! It was a great experience of the area and points for its reliability.

I was to be in DaNang and needed a transfer to the Hotel and I had call old reliable. What I dislike most when landing in a foreign land ar the taxi services, many taxi drivers see tourist as walking gold mine. I called Tommy and he made the effort to come pick me and my party on time and made sure we got the the hotel safely at an affordable charge. A tip I like to share when travelling is to get a reliable resource for airport transfers because it makes the start and end of holidays a happy one when you know that you are not getting hustle with a fix charged an option to go for other tours by the company. Tommy has specially curated a 3-day private tour to Hoi An and Bana Hill for us. We were very happy with the prompt and professional services rendered by Tommy and his team. In Bana Hill, Xinh, the guide was able to make changes to the itinerary so that we avoided the crowd because it of the peak holiday season and suggested great spots for photo taking. In Hoi An, we enjoyed the unique and interesting ride in the basket boat, the ancient town and the spectacular Memory of Hoi An Show.
