Dear Orlikay, Thank you for rafting the mighty Zambezi River with Safari-par-Excellence we are all thrilled to hear you had a great time with Melvin, Emmanuel and our white water team. We are all extremely proud of our team and the care they take of their guests on this incredible river. I will be sure to pass on your compliments and regards. At this time of year we are on our high-water run, the Zambezi is on the rise and will peak in Mid-April. Highlights of a trip at this time of year are, the incredible scenery of the untouched Batoka Gorge, rafting some incredible "one hit" rapids that only exist with the rising water level, as certain features on the river bank come into play. As well as swimming the smaller rapids and hiking some pristine access paths. Thank you for your recommendation and we hope to host you again soon, SAFPAR.

Dear Trip813564, Thank you for rafting with Safari-par-excellence and our white water team, we are all thrilled to know you had a great experience with us on this incredible river. The Zambezi River does offer what is arguably the finest one day white water rafting trip on the planet and is definitely not to be missed by any outdoor adventurist. The Zambezi is classed as a grade-V river, what this means is that the Zambezi is rated at the highest level of commercially available rafting. Class-5 is defined by the British canoe union as: “Extremely difficult – long and very violent rapids with severe hazards. Continuous, powerful, confused water makes roué-finding difficult. Precise manoeuvring is critical.” No two river trips are ever the same and the Zambezi River is constantly changing we strongly advise guests to contact us regarding their expectations. While you don't need to be an extreme athlete a basic level of fitness will ensure you enjoy this extreme adventure activity with us. Take care on your travels and please be sure to share your complimentary media #safpar #safparzambia. SAFPAR

Dear Regina L, Congratulations on rafting the Zambezi River which offers, what is arguably the finest one day white water rafting trip on the planet. We are all thrilled to know you had an excellent time with our team of white water gurus. We are all inordinately proud of our team what they accomplish on a daily basis with their adventure loving guests on this Class-V river. All of our guides hold class-V rafting licenses from the International Rafting Federation and we are constantly training and de-briefing on scenarios. Our team are all Advanced first Aiders, and four of our team have successfully completed their Basic Life Support Qualification. We carry an Automated External Defibrillator on all of our trips and back our team up with an extensive logistical network that includes satellite communication and helicopter support in the event it is needed. The section of river we raft is located in the steep sided Batoka Gorge and accessing and exiting the gorge can be the toughest part of the day. The Zambezi River water levels are at a state of constant fluctuation over the season and we change our entry and exit points accordingly. Some of these hikes can be more strenuous than others. In general while you don't need to be an extreme athlete the hikes take the average person twenty-five minutes, our guides are on hand to assist and we carry plenty of water. The ability to undertake these hikes is an indication of the fitness levels necessary to enjoy rafting this incredible river. We appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you back soon! SAFPAR.

Dear Shabanama2019, Thank you for rafting with Boyd and our white water team on the mighty Zambezi. Fantastic to hear you had a great time with us on our Raft, Cruise Combo. The Zambezi River is a class-V River, Class-V is a denotation of river difficulty and is the highest level of commercially available rafting. It is a challenging river that should be on every outdoor adventure lovers bucket list. We have a close relationship with the communities that live around the Batoka Gorge and are the biggest employer in the villages you drove through. We actually try and dissuade guests from throwing out bottles from the vehicles, to avoid the children coming dangerously close to the vehicles. We will be sure to address this and explain this fully to our guests. Thank you for rafting with us and we hope to host you again soon. Safpar.
