      Fun cycle tour
Very good and informative tour of Manila - guides were superb and friendly - they also kept an eye on group to keep us altogether through the traffic. Thank you very much!

      Great experience
Really interesting tour. Justine was a great tour guide, and pitched the information just right for us. We were 2 couples in our 50's and 60's and did the express tour which actually lasted around an hour and 3/4. The complimentary ice cream at the end was well received! A fair bit of the route is shared with cars but we did not feel unsafe. Thank you for an interesting and rewarding afternoon out.

      Highly recommended
We really enjoyed the tour and only wish we had time for the longer one! The social enterprise Bambike is inspirational and the bikes are really good, staff make sure they are suitable for you. JayD was an informative and enthusiastic guide who clearly enjoys showing you around his city. Cold towels and beautiful ice creams are a very welcome end to the experience.

So glad we did this tour
This tour was one of the highlights of our Manila visit. Russell is an excellent tour guide- he's very knowledgable and a great storyteller. We started the 3 hr walking tour at the gates of the fort where Russell started dropping facts all the way to the armory where he took us down to the dungeons and then back out to walk on the wall along the river. He then took us out to various other sites like Manila Cathedral and San Agustin church, ending the walk at the Casa Manila museum. He had loads of intersting historical stories at each spot, and gave us enough time to take photos and wander about on our own. We were very lucky that the weather was good too. All in all, a highly recommended tour and if you can, ask for Russell!

Highlight of our visit to Manila, Steven was an excellent guide very informative and fun (loved he fed a few cats on our ride around) wish we had time of have done the longer tour. Loved the bamboo bikes too, with a most delightful ice cream at the end on the house

      Expected more
The tour mostly takes you around the old military structures in Manila, and ends with Manila Cathedral. Generally not very interesting locations. There were two groups of tourists, and the guide in the other group had a microphone with a loud speaker, while the guide of our group did not, which was a little strange. After the tour they provided complimentary ice cream for everyone. They also have a bar upstairs with ridiculously overpriced beer. I recommend doing this tour only if you are staying near the starting location.

A great way to see Intramuros
We absolutely loved this tour! A great way to see the old city and really fun to ride around on the bamboo bikes. And the ice cream at the end was delicious! Bambike was well organised and the guides were great.

It was really boring. Should have just rented a bike and rode around by myself.

Highly recommended for those keen on exploring the history & culture of Manila’s walled city
Intramuros Walking Tour is a highly recommended experience. Our tour guide, Russell, was knowledgeable & engaging, offering insights that brought the storied Intramuros past to life. The tour is well-paced, with ample opportunities to ask questions. What sets this tour apart is that the experience is enriching and memorable for a history enthusiast or a casual visitor.

      Must-do Tour of Old Manila
Russell was an amazing tour guide! I am so thankful to have someone with so much knowledge of the history and culture of old Manila. I booked the tour with my family from Aus and we couldn’t be more impressed with such a great tour guide who had some jokes as well! He even taught us the meaning of our family name in relation to the history of Manila which was so good to learn as Filipinos who did not grow up in the Philippines! Would definitely recommend to newcomers and those wanting to learn more about their own heritage whilst in the Philippines :)

      5 star tour
My family and I opted for a private tour, it was definitely the best decision. We had the best tour guide Russel who was so knowledgeable, funny and amazing photographer. He toke the time to even give us a small background / info about our surname which was a lovely touch. We definitely recommend Russel to our visiting family. Thank you Russel for making our first full day in Manila so memorable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hope to see you on our next trip

Attended a very interesting history class
Lucky enough to experience a 1-2-1 tourguide as I am the only 1 booked for the day. Had a great experience with Russell, a very good story teller...shared a detailed history of Philippines & Manila....I definitely will try to look for the movie of Rizal that he recommended..

Highlight of our Manila trip! Tour guide was awesome - we learnt heaps about the history and importance of each stop within the walled city. It’s stunning scenery and all the kids from the school doing their dances was an awesome random highlight. We had quite a scary time trying to get back to our hotel after the trip so I strongly recommend getting a private driver and having them wait for you to finish. The city becomes gridlocked in the evening which is when our tour finished. We couldn’t get a Grab (Uber equivalent). I asked the tour guide what to do and he said walk out of the walled city and there will be taxis which there weren’t. We ended up getting a tuktuk who unfortunately dropped us off in the dark in a dangerous spot with a lot of people surrounding us. Long story, we got back to the hotel, and it’s in no way the tour operators fault, it’s mine. So just passing in the importance of having return transport locked in - do not rely on taxis or Grab.

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Naomi was excellent giving interesting and detailed information and was friendly and keen to answer any extra questions. There were lots of stop offs so although the tour took about 3 hours you weren’t actually cycling very far. We also had an additional cyclist from the team with us who did an excellent job of making sure we had safe passage through traffic. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I did the 2.5 hour experience with Prime as our tour guide, who was so sweet and kind - he gave good background information and was always happy to help take a photo for us and other groups. We stopped at multiple locations (I think 6-7) and were able to go inside the Manila Cathedral. The itinerary listed on the site is accurate. The ice cream and cold towels at the end were a nice way to end. Overall, really had a great time - biking is a lot more fun than walking around, especially in the Manila heat. My parents, who are in their mid/late 60's, were also really able to enjoy this.

Paolo gave our family a wonderful tour filled with great historical information as well as a lot of funny facts. He was very knowledgeable. He and Josh navigated through the busy city with ease and made us feel very safe on our bamboo bikes. We definitely recommend this tour! The ice cream surprise at the end was such a wonderful treat.

Tour ran smoothly despite a bit of light rain. We were led round by our diamond guide and local history student, Steven who was equipped with his binder of photos to show how the sites had evolved over the years. I enjoyed this visual stimulus.
Steven was informative and enthusiastic throughout, pausing only to ask if we had any questions or to give us brief moments to peruse the stops and take photos. The bike ride was undertaken at a steady pace and Steven told us In advance of each stop the side of the road to stick to and where we were heading. Though the traffic in Manila can be quite chaotic to put it lightly, I never felt in danger. The bikes were sturdy yet lightweight.

The tour ended with a cold towel pat down and an ice cream from a local cafe. I would recommend the purple yam flavour! All in all, a first rate experience

I went on this tour with my Husband and my friend. The 3 of us absolutely loved it.From the moment we were given our lovely bikes right to the icecream at the end. We were brought around the old city of Manila and our guide Anj was very informative not only about the history of the city but she answered my many questions about the school children we saw on our tour. Thank you Anj . We had a beautiful lunch in Barbara's after. Great value for money thank you guys .

I really enjoyed this tour with the guide (Stephen) very happy to take/talk us around his city that is stepped in history.. On every stop i learned so much, particularly about the amount of occupiers of his city over the years, at home we'd only really one to complain about (they know who they are). The pace was excellent and the rides between short just the right distance.. Thank you Stephen for a lovely afternoon.

The Bambike tour of Intramuros was a great way to see the highlights of this neighborhood in a comfortable, time-efficient manner! In less than 3 hours, we were able to see the walls and gates, Santiago Fort, and Manila Cathedral, and had he perfect amount of time to explore each one without taking up too much of the day. The bikes were comfortable, the guide was good, and the bonus scoop of ice cream at the end (with interesting flavor choices including coconut, ube, jackfruit, or avocado) was delicious!

We were a family of 8 that joined a tour of Intramuros. The guides were funny and informative and kept us safe, stopping traffic when necessary. The eldest (70+yo) and youngest (6yo) in our group took advantage of the Bamborghini - bicycle with a side car - since they don't ride bikes. We enjoyed riding our own bicycles through Intramuros and on the street with other vehicles. The cold towel and ice cream were welcome treats at the end of a great tour.

A brief tour of the history of Manila. A beautiful bamboo bike ride inside the old city walls. You quickly understand that behind every building there is also a fascinating story that is identified with the successive conquests that the country has suffered. From the Spanish, the Americans and the Japanese, to independence after World War II, the bicycle ride evolves into a novel that is as vivid as the harsh historical reality. Well done to the guys who thought of it and are making it happen. Although it could be described as a tourist activity, it is done with such quality that it deserves. I highly recommend it.
