Maragogi is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Alagoas. Located 125 km from Maceió, the municipality is located in the East Alagoas and the North Coast Alagoas.
It has the most beautiful beaches of the reef coast between the south coast of Pernambuco and the north coast of Alagoas, and is therefore considered one of the most important regional tourist centers.
Maragogi is today a major tourism hub, serving as a gateway to the states of Alagoas and Pernambuco and becoming the second largest tourism hub in the state. Its beaches have calm sea, white sands and dense coconut trees, especially those of Barra Grande, Burgalhau, Peroba and São Bento. The trip to the galleys (natural pools) is a must, where, 6 km from the coast, you can observe the Environmental Protection Area where the coral reefs are.
