We hit the jackpot to have Nikola as our guide at Plitvice Lakes. He has incredible knowledge and just a great guy to get to know over the 3 hours walking the lower lakes. We would highly recommend this tour. It’s hard to imagine enjoying our visit to the park nearly as much if we did it in our own. We also appreciated the flexibility accommodating our schedule.

PATRICIA was a true delight and highly informative of the Lakes being that she grew up in the forest. She was patient and kind while answering all of our questions. We had a 6 hour private tour with Leo. He met us at our nearby hotel and was an enormous help in guiding us through the park so we saw all the most beautiful spots. He was considerate to go at our pace. He knows everyone as he is local. He even got us a dinner reservation at the best place where we had tried twice in advance with no luck. LEO has a great personality, he is knowledgeable, and kind—the perfect guide!

Excellent tour with our guide Andriji ( Andy) or family of 4 explored the lower and upper lakes. Andy spoke excellent English, was polite, helpful, full of useful information and had a good sense of humour. Excellent organisational skills and knew how to avoid the big tour groups and crowds . The lakes are magical and Andy’s obvious love and appreciation of his local area was very apparent. Thoroughly recommended !

First of all, Plitvice is a must-see if visiting Croatia. It's a natural wonderland, super-beautiful, and very accessible. Secondly, we are SO HAPPY we hired Nikola with Orbt Eva to take us around. We spent two half days with Nikola, day one visiting the lower lakes and day two on the upper lakes. Both days were about 3.5 hours. He is a native of the area, super-enthusiastic, and highly knowledgeable. Certainly, you can visit Plitvice without a guide, but it's a mistake in my opinion. An expert guide like Nikola will point out-out details, large and small, you will miss otherwise. We plan to return at some point and will seek out Orbt Eva and Nikola. 10/10

The view was magical and the experience was magnificent. Our guide Nikola was very pleasant. He is very experienced and has been grow up in the region. He shared many interesting facts both about the park and the region. He is funny and social, but still gave us lots of space. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful day with Nikola visiting the wonders of Plitvice lakes. Having a private tour was so much better than going in a crowded group, highly recommended

I went on fairly overcast day after a lot of rain so a lot of the park was closed. However, that didn’t stop Nikola from showing me all the great areas/trails that could be used. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions that came up. Overall it was great experience and I’m looking forward to doing this tour again on my next trip to Plitvice Lakes hopefully during better weather conditions.

We spent a great day with Leo, discovering the park, the lakes, getting to know the wildlife (numerous fish, elusive crawfish, birds) and the history of the region. Excellent tour with an excellent guide ^^

It was a great experience for our whole family. Andrew was engaging, very knowledgeable and super friendly. We had 4 kids (9-17) and two parents and we loved it. He taught us so much about the area and we just had the best day!
