A must do dor those who care about the environment
This tour is a MUST DO if you care about ecology amd want to know more about plants, insects, and animals in Ecuador and how they create a sustainable biosphere. Our guide and teacher, Eddie, brings incredible knowledge and passion about Ecuadorian ecology to life. I learned more about symbiosis, even in my own country, than all the botany courses had taught me.

A Fantastic Day Tour Around Guayaquil, Ecuador
A wonderful way to learn about and explore Ecuador/Guayaquil. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly and infinitely patient with our group of 7. Our tour covered the dry jungle where we saw howler monkeys (and dodged mosquitos in our mosquito nets and DEET), mangroves (on a long, canoe-like boat) where we saw a multitude of bird and other wildlife, and a visit to a working Cocoa farm/ranch where we learned all about growing, refining and finishing chocolate. The lunch served at the Cocoa farm was fantastic local fare, including a ceviche to die for! Highly recommended.

Amazing tour!!! Jaime is the best!
Jaime was an incredible guide and he took extra time when we had questions. This was our first tour in ecuador and he really made it special! The cacao farm was amazing and we got to try fresh chocolate with raw sugar and it is my new favorite way to eat it! Thank you for an amazing tour!

    An enjoyable experience.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were very concerned about our safety. The lunch was decent and plentiful. The tour operator included snorkeling equipment and wetsuits which many of the other agencies charge extra for. Our only complaint was the office was closed when we went back to return our equipment?. Still would recommend and be sure to pack your sunscreen.

    Great visit
My wife and I joined Jaime Bolaños for a trip from our hotel in Guayaquil to the farm. Jaime was quite informational about Ecuador and the surrounding area on the trip out there. Once we got to the farm, we saw cacao plants and how to extract the cocoa beans went through the whole process of eventually making our own chocolate bars. We then had a delightful lunch on site. The whole adventure was a wonderful day. Jaime Bolaños made it much more enjoyable with his discussion going and coming. I recommend that Jaime. Ask for Jaime to take you.

    Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! Hymie, our tour guide, was outstanding and made us feel safe and well cared for in our first venture to Guayaquil. Our river/forest guide Carlos did a great job spotting wildlife. Hacienda Cacao Y Mango was delightful and so enjoyed Jamal our guide, the delicious lunch and the emersion chocolate experience. Have already raved about the tour and recommended to friends. Would have liked more detailed info about the tour upfront but so glad we went.

    Would go Again!
The meal provided was local and delicious. During COVID the family learned how to make recipes and new uses for their chocolate. They’ve done an incredible job and it was so fun seeing all the beautiful plants and learning about cacao and chocolate making.

Relaxed good times on after a week of touring
The people, the places, the food, the day. All was great. Only hitch was communication on pickup. We thought it was an hour later than tour thought. Uh oh we almost missed out

    Awesome mangrove experience
This was an outstanding tour. What made it so good was our tour guide Eduardo. He was super knowledgable We got to see all kinds of birds, monkeys and alligators. The motorized canoe trip was a lot of fun and interesting. Lunch was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the chocolate factory tour.

Francisco was our tour guide and he did a fabulous job answering a barrage of questions about Guayaquil and Ecuador. He made the tour around what you already knew about, my wife and I had been on a tour the previous day and he skipped the redundant places.

Christopher escorted us around the city. He was well informed about the history and culture. He was energetic and caring and well spoken. He has a passion for the city and the country and it rubbed off on us. This was our first visit to South America and it was a great introduction. He showed us the historic sites, explained the history, showed us shopping and eating locations, discussed the safe and unsafe areas of the city and just had a passion for the country and it's beauty and culture.

The warmest of days, in both senses of the word. Jaime Bolanos picked us up right on time, his vehicle spotlessly clean. What followed was, in our opinion, among the best city tours we have taken anywhere. Jaime was truly interested in immersing us is the Guayaquil of OUR interests. With a laid back and informative manner, his knowledge of the history, emergence, and future of this Ecuadorian city flowed as he deftly drove us around town. His friendly manner and optimism painted Guayaquil with a warm and hopeful brush, and we spent the day absorbing all of its colors. He even helped one of us face his vertigo with a spin around Malecon's wheel. Thank you Jaime, for infecting your happiness into our one-time visit to Ecuador

Francisco gave an excellent tour of Guayaquil with opportunities to walk around and see places. He shared history and anecdotes to give an in-depth tour. Adrien was the driver who also had interesting info to share. We got great restaurant recommendations from them.

Guide met us at our resort on time. His vehicle was immaculate & his English excellent. Everything went well, saw city sites in a practical fashion. Ended with historical residential area restored (approx 442 steps involved) & was able to complete on foot back to our resort. Excellent all round.
