Old lady receptionist was extremely rude and racist. Seeing that my family conversed in Mandarin, she condescendingly told us that the guided tour only has English option. She was disrespectful and her attitude was appalling. Wouldn’t recommend a visit.

Really interesting building and the history of the family and how they lived was fascinating. We just snuck in front of a large tour group and using the guidebook supplied had an informative visit. Really well done.
We were on a tight schedule and didn’t have long, but we were glad we visited. A real insight into life in that time and it was made relevant/real with the links to the current family. Well worth RM$16. If we were there for longer, we would have taken the tour.
