Of the surrounding water villages , this one is as easy and assessable . Definitely set up for tourism but it has enough entertainment value that makes it worthwhile. A Gondola ride was fun, and A must do after all . Lots of places to eat and shop for trinkets
Took the subway here from City. Quite a distance but nice time out. The trains are always packed. We were told that we need admission tickets to get in but you don't have to if you just want to wander around. A very quaint area with lots of shops and food.
I am suprised that ickets to enter a water town that does not charge an entry fee to get in. I have visited a number of times, never had to pay.
