About the operator
- R3204LJlindam00Great ExperienceWe had a great time on our Canoe and Nature Walk in the Ketchikan Rainforest. Colt was very entertaining and also very informative. He really seemed to know his stuff. We also enjoyed the snacks at camp and getting to talk with other staff members.
- E9241GColgad00Great staffWe had such an amazing time. The entire staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area and whales. We were able to see multiple whales, breaching, and my parents were able to be part of the 1% who are able to see whales in their natural habitat. It was an experience of a lifetime!
- beachbumnorwood00Whale watching at its best in Auke Bay...wonderful !!We went on a whale watch aboard the North Star. Since the NCL Encore did not dock in Juneau until 2:30, our tour was later in the afternoon. It Was raining but it was amazing! The captain and the girl who did the narrating were both wonderful! We saw so many hump back whales! we saw them Breaching, waving a fin and yes...their whale Tale. So informative and just so memorable. even tho the weather wasn't the best we could open the windows once the whales were spotted to enjoy the view. Do not miss the opportunity to see the whales in the beautiful Auke Bay in Alaska! thank you thank you for such a wonderful day!
- jasper640000Ketchikan Rainforest canoe and walk.Another favorite excursion. Took a small tour bus out to Harriet Hunt Lake. There are about 30 people (give or take a few) in each canoe. There were only 2 canoes so it was another peaceful outing. Lake was like glass - we were blessed with perfect weather. Learned about the Lake, surrounding forest, and it was a nice paddle around the area. Also, There are 3 people on a seat and the middle person does not paddle. So many old trees surround this lake. The nature walk is not a hike. It goes in a circle into the woods and it is on a boardwalk. So if you have issues walking this is something you would still be able to do. After the walk we went back to the sheltered area for jam, salmon spread, bread, snacks, hot chocolate, coffee. One thing you see if a type of lichen (old man's beard) that only grows in the purest of air - so you are breathing good clean air.! If you are looking for something quiet to do, this is for you.
- jasper640000Sea Kayaking in SitkaProbably one of the best excursions we did. My sister and I did this one. The description says strenuous, but i've never kayaked before and it was easy. Water was calm and it was beautiful. If it's windy then you may have more issues but we had no waves. You take a smaller boat out to where the coves and kayaks are located. Once you get going it is so peaceful! Small groups. You follow your guide but didn't have stay in a line. You could explore in the area. So many starfish or sea stars. Sea Urchins, little crabs, we saw a mink, abalone. You don't get wet as you wear a covering from your waist down that connects to the kayak. After kayaking you went back to the main covered meeting area and had some snacks, coffee or juice, hot chocolate. Would highly recommend!
- OceanloverBC00Well Organized and Lovely AfternoonAfter doing a whale watching tour in the morning we were shuttled by bus to the salmon bake. It was well organized and the food was very good. A nice walk up to a waterfall, fairly accessible and not too difficult. Some nice photo opportunities.
- terhadley00An okay adventureWe enjoyed seeing the rainforest, but we had hoped to see more wildlife. The boat ride was great and the tour guides were informative and kind. Be sure and wear comfortable gripping shoes and be okay with some inclines.
- Vacation53857200So disappointedWhen we go to the waterfront the agent said there was no room for us on the tour. Even though we had spent $400 reserving 2 tickets. I’ve never had this problem before on trip advisor. Super sad.
- 413bakhtawarr00My visitFantastic fantastic, feel the Glacier under your feet. Booking independently is good. Not cheap but once only is great. Informative information and the lookout is worth it.
- A5810ZQjackm00Brett with Two T’sThe beauty of Juneau and the knowledge of our guide, Brett, made our trip one to remember. We would definitely recommend this tour to other visitors.
- Kvoo00Skip LiarsvilleThe Liarsville Gold Camp was part of the White Pass Railrod and Klondike Highway excursion from our cruise ship. The Liarsville part of this excursion was not worth it. The experience was very hokey with 4 20-something year olds putting on a "show" of singing and dancing that seemed like manufactured fun. The gold panning was also very hokey. I recommend the train part of this excursion but would skip the gold camp.
- 118bernies00Jason at the oars (and chainsaw) —two fallen trees couldn’t stop us from white water rafting.Jason made our rafting experience of the Mendenhall Glacier very enjoyable. The incredible views down the river were wonderful but it was his personality and knowledge of the whole area that reallly made it special.
- Purzzel_5400An amazing experienceSeeing whales in the wild was simply amazing. Our jet boat pilot was funny and helpful. The native expert was knowledgeable. Would recommend.
- D9415VHjans00Loved our trip with Jason! The highlight of our Alaskan trip! Jason was friendly and informative. He definitely made the excursion both fun and educational. Plus he made sure we had great pics of the group! Highly recommend.
- Conrad B00Would definitely come backWe had a great time whale watching, capt lee and Libby where great guides and very informative, answered questions we had and made it fun for us

As our walking trip to glacier was cancelled we went kayaking instead. Our group leader and guide was Allegra and she was great. Saw harbour seals and one sea lion as well as an eagle. Great views of glacier.

Great experience. Although I was a little disappointed that the glacier was so far away. Saw three bald eagles though, so that was exciting. Alegra was awesome. She was very patient and explained things in great detail. Would definitely go again.

Allegra was an OUTSTANDING guide. Right from the start she was helpful and explained exactly what we were going to be doing in an engaging way as we got our gear on. She had great tips and insights about the Glacier, wildlife and general Juneau area. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience which was serene and picturesque. Do wear rain gear on the top AND the bottom to ensure the most comfortable excursion experience. I also wish I had put my binoculars around my neck - stunning views from the cove.

Our guide Allegra was great! We were the inexperienced in the group and she encouraged us and make us feel like we were doing a great job! Had seals pop up around us. Beautiful!

Thanks to Aubrey for being a great guide on our sea kayak tour. We had a great time! The trip was a good balance of viewing wildlife, exercise and sightseeing. I would have liked to be closer to the glacier (it’s in view but you are not right up against it). Some great photos and an overall great excursion,

We did a sea kayaking trip a a part of a cruise excursion set up through Princess Cruises. The initial part of finding the rep an the transportation to the location was a bit of a hassle as the rep wasn't there until about 5 minutes before the report time and we waited 30 minutes for the bus to actually arrive. Once we got on the bus we were made four additional stops to drop off other passengers and ended up coming back around to the first stop to pick up passengers. It was a disorganized process to put it mildly.
Once we finally arrived at the location we were greeted and told where to go to gear up. Our guide, Allegra, was fantastic! She was friendly, patient, and made sure everyone was set up and ready to go. When out on the water she was sure to point out various landmarks, answer questions, and spoke about the wildlife we were seeing. My 12 year old daughter and I had a great time while my 72 year old father enjoyed it but was in a kayak with a stranger so it was a little awkward for him but I think the scenery made up for it. They're not joking when they said it's a vigorous activity so be ready to work. Thank you Allegra for a wonderful experience!

They met us at the pier, and they seemed to accommodate all ship arrivals whenever they came in. They know each cruise lines times and do well to make it so you can enjoy their excursion.
