There aren't enough words to describe just how wonderful this adventure was. From the incredible Alaskan landscapes, to the amazing wildlife sightings, you will experience total sensory overload!! Our tour guide was first class, too! He was very insightful and took the time to learn all of our names, making us feel like we were one big family. He took us through several areas that were loaded with Eagles, seals and sea lions. We even had the opportunity to see a Bald Eagle pull a fish right from the water. If you only have time for one excursion, make sure that you put this adventure at the top of your list. You won't regret it!!

This was our favorite excursion. From the moment we were greeted by our driver, a native Alaskan, to the water, we were treated with 5 star service and genuine hospitality. Our zodiac guide even brought frozen fish so we could see a bald eagle dive and retrieve it. Highly recommend!

Our Alaskan Family Rainforest Adventure was way more than we expected. Nedalyn Gonzales, a young native of Ketchikan exceeded our expectations as she took us on an ATV ride through the rainforest. Her history of the city and the people included a heart felt love for a cub bear which we saw alone in the forest and heard the story of his mother and the love of the people's concern as well as learning about the totem poles and traditions of the people who live there. But that wasn't all we also got to have a pancake breakfast right in the forest and s'mores on neat fishing poles. It was the highlight of our trip to Alaska.

We had a short ride from our cruise ship to the starting location. The 4 wheel vehicles were really souped up golf carts, with big wheels and more power. very easy to drive.
The totem poles were really intereseting and Melissa told us great stories. The rainforest ride was not long, but it was informative and fun to drive through. The best part was when Melissa threw the fish into the water and right on cue, an eagle swooped dwon to get it.

We were a family group of 10 with 4 kids from 4 - 10 yrs. of age. This was our favorite excursion on our Alaskan cruise. It included a variety of activities such as learning about totem poles, driving an ATV (and mudding!), eating fresh cooked pancakes, s'mores and hot chocolate in a forest clearing with a campfire to warm us up and soaking up the beautiful scenery as we went along our way. The finale of our outing was watching a bald eagle swoop down and pick up a fish thrown on the beach by our guide. Totally awesome! And Cody was a great guide. She had plenty of knowledge to share with us and was wonderful with the kids. Highly recommend this activity!

My family and I were on an Alaskan cruise that stopped in Ketchikan. We decided to take the Rain Forest Family Adventure. This was our final excursion and we were excited to drive through the Alaskan rainforest. While you do drive a buggy through the forest it is for about 20 minutes at most and a good part of that is on the road. The rest of the time your guide is giving a lecture on the local flora and fauna. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable but thought we would be driving for most of the excursion. To top it off the tour was a bit over 2 hours. Definitely better ways to spend your time in Ketchikan

Maybe it was because we had scheduled this adventure on a day that ended up being rainy and gloomy that we were the only two in our buggy. At any rate, Nedalyn, who is Ketchikan born and raised...and perhaps (as I choose to believe) a descendant of the town's Alaskeros...was a great guide on our initial Alaskan experience. It was great fun and will be remembered for a long time. Thanks to our driver Katie, Nedalyn and the guys who provided the campfire, hot chocolate, pancakes and s'mores for this introductory excursion on our Bucket List Trip

This excursion exceeded my husband's and my expectations. Driving the Buggy was fun and learning the history of the local Tlingit people ,their totems and culture just brought the area to life. The scenery of mountains, ocean and rainforest on our trip was mind blowing. The pancakes in the Camp were sooooooo good. Our tour guide was so knowledgable about the area and the people and so wiling to share and answer all our questions. We loved every minute. Thank you.

Our family (of 5) would like to thank everyone from the young man who met us at the Disney (Wonder) Cruise port and showed us to the pier; the woman who drove the van; the lady who stopped traffic for our buggies to cross; and Codie who was absolutely amazing! There was another family (of 4) who was from Georgia who was in another buggie. These buggies were awesome! I normally drive a Toyota Landcruiser, and these buggies were fun to drive. The weather was perfect. We saw 2 eagles soaring above when we reached the top of the hill, learned about the totems and what they meant, took great pics (or rather Codie did), ate smores (made by the campfire) and pancakes along with hot beverages. Kim's family served homemade pancakes.

Then, the highlight of the tour is when Codie surprised us and asked if anyone could whistle. So, my husband volunteered and whistled which almost everyone in Saxman could hear; then, from far from the left, a bald eagle soared in the air towards us. Codie threw the fresh fish; then, it soared above us and flew down to the ocean where she had thrown the fish. The eagle caught the fish and took it back to its nest.

It was so big and awesome! I would highly recommend this tour and the team. Thank you!
